Subject: Immediate Action Required – Filing Discrepancies and Refund Demand
I am writing to formally address significant concerns regarding the handling of my business filing.
I have received multiple communications stating that my company was successfully filed on March 21, 2026. However, to date, I have not received any official documentation confirming this filing. Additionally, a search of my state’s business registry yields no record of the organization, which directly contradicts the claim that the filing has been completed.
Further, I have received follow-up emails indicating that filings may take longer than expected and are still being processed. This is inconsistent with the prior communication clearly stating that the filing had already been completed and that the next step would be obtaining the EIN. No progress or documentation related to the EIN has been provided.
Attempts to resolve this matter via phone have been unsuccessful, as I have only been met with an automated AI system. This lack of access to a live representative is unacceptable given the seriousness and time sensitivity of this issue.
At this point, the inconsistencies, lack of transparency, and failure to deliver services as represented raise serious concerns. I have adhered to my obligations and made payment in good faith, and I expect the same level of professionalism and accountability in return.
Due to these unresolved issues, I am formally requesting an immediate refund of all fees paid. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I am prepared to pursue further action to recover my funds.
I expect a clear response, including either proof of completed filing with verifiable documentation or confirmation of a full refund, without further delay.
I formed two companies with them, mainly motivated by a promotion where they offered a $100 bonus. However, I never received that bonus for either company. I followed all the steps as required, yet there was no payment and no clear explanation.
The experience with the second company was even worse. There were significant delays in the formation process, and I had to repeatedly reach out just to get my formation documents. It felt like I had to chase them constantly for something that should have been straightforward.
I also contacted customer service regarding the missing bonus. Their only response was that they needed up to 90 days to verify eligibility. Now it has been almost 6 months, and I still have not received any update, resolution, or payment.
Overall, while they may complete the basic service, the lack of follow-through on promotions, poor communication, and delays make this a frustrating and unreliable experience. I would not recommend them based on my experience.

After paying them for several years, all of a sudden my account login "does not exist" and there is no way of addressing this issue.

I am their customer. After 10 emails and many voicemails, they never returned a call regarding Registered Agent Service. Untrustworthy and corrupt bait-and-switch business practices. If I could give them negative stars
My experience is mixed but ultimately negative. My paperwork was processed quickly and I received my LLC. However, I never received my $100 credit for opening a bank account. I contacted customer service and was told it took 4-6 weeks. That came and went and I reached out again. Was then told it takes 90 days. After several months I basically gave up but also decided I didn't want the monthly state compliance monitoring. I wrote them regarding the $100 credit and to cancel to monitoring and didn't hear back. I followed up again two more times and it wasn't until I let them know I would have to report the recurring charge to my CC company as fraud that they finally canceled it. I still never received my $100 credit. I don't appreciate the false claims and unresponsiveness.

The process started off slower than expected, but Chad and his team truly turned things around. They took accountability and executed exactly what they said they would. Since then, everything has moved efficiently and professionally. I appreciate how they handled the situation and followed through.

Their website still says black Friday deals, there's terrible reviews everywhere about their lack of customer service , lack of response and lack of care and it's showing. Their policy you do not receive a refund for any reason so now I'm SOL and lost the $ since I'm sure my LLC will never be filed. Will be also reporting to the BBB.

They won’t stop charging your card after incorporating even if you aren’t using their service and explicitly told them not to charge you anymore Will shield behind bureaucracy. Offered $100 bonus I didn’t get. Got an address for my LLC that’s blacklisted everywhere I try to input it.

I formed a company with Better Legal on 1122 and have received all of my documents and information but because I didn’t understand the process I kept missing items. Formed my llc here, that was ok. Went back to do a get a DBA filed, I got that paid for, It was taking a while so I wrote an email to check in they said it "had been filed one month ago". All fine. Another two weeks went by so I asked why it was taking so long, no reply, another two messages sent over another two weeks, no reply again. Finally called myself to secretary of state office. Come to find out they had actually never filed.
Update: The link that was sent was a google drive link with a scan in of a check, nothing with my company name, no proof that the paperwork was filed for my company specifically.
The company was notified to cancel subscription for services as i took them off as a registered agent and sent proof they no longer are registered as such. Emails to cancel to them: on Nov 20th, 24th, Dec 19th, and Now January 9th to cancel services and the company refuses. If you need a DBA filed do it yourself online, it took minutes and was processed in a couple of days.

Me: I just called in to the secretary of state's office as well as logged in to SOSdirect, there was no name change filed and this was confirmed over the phone as well. Refund my purchase for DBA filing with receipt sent to this email, and cancel services moving forward as registered agent. BBB, Trust pilot, and others will be reviewed based on lack of communication. I have emailed multiple times, as well as submitted two contact forms with no attempt to communicate the matter. If there is no receipt for refund I will file fraudulent charges for services not rendered on my credit card.

I have no idea why you emailed 4 times in two weeks and received no response, nor do I understand what happened with your DBA filing.
We will take care of it ASAP and get this taken care of for you.
Me: Thanks for the apology. I see a google drive link with a scan in of a check, nothing with my company name, no proof that the paperwork was filed for my company specifically. I will attach photos of the Filing history. As stated in my previous email, move forward with refunding the $249 paid for the DBA filing as it was not filed therefore we did not receive the service we paid for and I have already completed the filing myself. There was a timeline acceptable for correction for services that has been superseded. Additionally, cancel future services as a registered agent, the pace at which customer service replies are handled and lack of communication is not acceptable for us.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the handling of my recent LLC filing. This process has been both unprofessional and unacceptable from start to finish.
All initial correspondence from me, beginning on October 6th, clearly included the names and addresses of all parties who were to be listed as managers and included in the official formation documents. These instructions were completely ignored.
Despite my detailed communication, the LLC was filed incorrectly. Once I noticed the business had been registered on Sunbiz (Florida Division of Corporations) late Sunday evening, I immediately inquired about the EIN and was told via email that it was being completed with the IRS. However, your most recent email now claims that no Social Security Number was provided — which is inconsistent and unacceptable.
Additionally, the document you provided is incomplete and not a legally binding contract, as it fails to include the essential manager information I originally submitted. This has wasted my time and left us without a fully established and legally compliant business entity.

They make major mistakes. You pay for the compliance package thinking all is good, but you only realize months later when you receive mail from the state that they failed to deliver even basic services. Their customer service is friendly, but they are just not technically capable of the work they sell. So I would definitely not recommend them.
