I chose Better Removals as, of the many firms that contacted me, they were the only ones which were members of BAR. As it turned out it was the best decision I made. From the initial survey to the kindness of the office staff and carrying out the move nothing was too much trouble including coming before the move date to help clear my bookshelves and take the many (heavy) boxes downstairs ready to be collected by a charity. Throughout Rick and his team were professional, respectful of my property and unfailingly cheerful which made such a difference. I cannot recommend Better Removals highly enough you are just the best!!!

From start to finish Better Removals have been a pleasure to deal with. They were very friendly and accommodating and coped with dates moving constantly. Rick, Luke and Karl on packing and removal day were a credit to your company too. Very caring and patient with my elderly mother who has memory loss and keeps asking same questions. Everything packaged beautifully and arrived safely. Rick was fast and carefully packed all the items. Luke and Carl even laid the room out for mum and plugged in lights, which meant the world to my mum and helped with her big and emotional move. Thanks to all the staff and I’d definitely recommend you to my friends and family.

The admin team were very supportive in helping to organise a moving date and reorganising when the dates changed. The packing team were friendly, respectful and efficient in packing boxes and dismantling furniture. At the new property the larger team were equally efficient and professional. I’m very pleased with the whole process.

It was not a really big move but our 2 guys were excellent. They arrived on time and worked non stop to get their van loaded tightly. They then had a 100 mile journey to our new home and promptly unloaded everything without fuss. We would highly recommend.

We chose Better Removals instead of a slightly cheaper quote because of their family firm background, and we did not regret it. Our move was delayed by solicitors and BR were flexible and accommodating about a change of date. The ladies in the office were sympathetic and cheerful as well as efficient. Craig packed our fragile stuff the day before, quickly and efficiently with no breakages. On moving day he and his team moved everything efficiently and were unfailingly friendly and cheerful.

Good communication. Friendly packing and removal staff. Arrived when they were due to arrive, and packed quickly but safely. They asked questions about items they were unsure about to make sure anything we needed was easily accessible. The online booking and payment system wasn't entirely intuitive, and needs to be a bit easier to understand for us everyday folk! Overall it was a great service and ran very smoothly on arguably one of the most hectic days! Thank you for being friendly and professional!

I helped an elderly, rather frail lady move home and we used Better Removals to pack all her possessions and take them to her new sheltered accommodation.
The move was arranged but unfortunately my friend had a fall and was hospitalised. Better removals were brilliant. They kept in touch throughout and managed to move her two days later than planned. The team were friendly and kind and very helpful.

This was our second time using Better Removals, and they were phenomenal. Hottest day of the year, lift out of order, 7 flights down to the lorries..... they were relentlessly cheerful, practical, efficient and careful.

We booked at very short notice, 4 days, due to solicitors messing us about. The 3 men that did our move worked hard and were friendly and obliging.

The team ( in particular Jack who was with us every day ) made a seriously stressful life occasion as good as possible . Everyone was cheerful, fun , willing to make sure they took the burden of all bits of moving . I had so much heavy furniture am surprised anyone is still standing….not one grumble . Excellent experience from start to finish because of the human touch of the people - in particular Rick and Ollie who were magnificent
The quotation and email element is a bit clunky but phone enquiries well answered
