Signed up but then blocked from promotions after one week. Why offer price boosts if you don’t want people to use them?

Whilst I don't mind the site the promotional offers are poor, the odds not great and the prize wheel hasn't given me a win in over 5 months. I use the site occasionally as I do with my other accounts but this isn't a favourite.

Very poor site, no bonuses, offers, nothing. There is prise wheel, you can spin every Day, had spinned 173days in row, no winnings at all 😀
Better choose another site, this company only Will suck out your money.

Requested verification documents for an existing customer which is pretty standard. I uploaded correctly on their site via their upload page. 4 days later had to contact live chat who told me no documents received and could I send them via email. If that is the case software and site page are extremely poor

Stopped me receiving promotions because I used them sensibly which they promote apparently. I have since had my credit score reduced coincidence? My request for details have been ignored and ignored in a condensending way so I can only assume so guilty by a patronising silence. This is not a non payment complaint its about possible mishandling of my data that may have consequences down the line which is being ignored. You have been warned. Me I'll keep you all posted.

Betway had an offer if your golfer is leading in the first round they will pay out as a winner. I had Louis Ousthasen who was leading in the first round. Because he was not the first golfer I had a bet on they did not pay out. Be very very careful. They are con artist avoiding payouts with their small print T&Cs

BETWAY SA... How can you guys request my Mastercard picture for both back and front??? How can I send you my Cvv, Mastercard number Expiry date etc????? What information do you need on my card??? I opened a Betway account, you requested my ID, which I sent you then I had to withdraw money from my Betway acc to my Nedbank account for about 5 times. Now I can't do any withdrawals, you started asking ID again, which I sent you, then later you asked my bank statement, NOW YOU ARE ASKING FOR MY BANK CARD, WHY???? I can't even withdraw my money from my Betway account.

Worst Bookmaker ever!

I was banned from there site after playing hundreds of pounds!!!

Anytime I placed bets and qualified for a potential free bet I had to contact their customer service taking precious time!!

The worst of all that when I wagered £20 to qualified the super free spin I was advised that I can forget it as I'm not eligible!!!

After several weeks of emailing and contacting their chat service they have finally refunded only £10 out of the £20!!!

Ridiculous company!!!!

Unsure how football teams wear their shameful logo!!!!

Oh...I know because they extract loads of money from customer after ban them so they have no saying or even right to enjoy the betting!!

If you are with BetWay find better bookmakers as this company is the worst I have come across!!

Won peanuts and had my limits heavily restricted and received an email saying limitations on my account. Despicable service. Kicking out anyone that takes top price is a poor business model and the road to ruin.

I am still yet to receive my latest withdrawal.. This has now been 4 working days. I used to deposit and withdraw with betway all the time. But on this occasion my money seems to have not appeared. I have emailed Betway with my reference number and also a copy of my bank statement (PDF File). I have received no response.

I have to question where my withdrawal now is?

As a loyal customer of Betway, I have now lost faith.

Scammers, i won money but they dont want to pay me out. Asking for documents all the time, sent then all proof of ID and adress. They dont even respond to my emails. Scammers

Casual better, enjoy the prize wheel and playing small amounts for fun. After winning a few bets and withdrawing most of the winnings...all free bets now removed for no reason. Its a scam, they only want to keep you if you keep giving them money.

I won a few pounds, I'm not talking £1,000s, over the last few weeks. I received the following email today:

"Hi James,

We’ve recently reviewed your Betway account – ******** – and have taken the decision that you will no longer be eligible for any sports promotions.

This means that you’ll no longer be eligible for Free Bets, Bonuses, Best Odds Guaranteed or the Betway Prize Wheel.

You can continue to bet with us as usual and any promotions you’ve already placed qualifying bets for or Free Bets recently used will not be affected.

Our decision is final and will not be overturned, but should you have any questions about any offers you have qualified for then please contact our support team.

The Betway Team"

They've "taken the decision" for what reason? No explanation, NOTHING! I'm not a heavy or high stakes gambler, but they've decided to use these draconian measures.

They only offer "Free Bets, Bonuses, Best Odds Guaranteed or the Betway Prize Wheel." as a means to sucker you into handing your hard earned cash over to them.

On reading the email I immediately withdrew all funds from my account and closed it. I will come back on if I have any problems with my withdrawal.

I signed up with Betway and placed a £10 bet which won and returned me a total of £26. It seems this was too much for this colossus of the betting industry to bear and so this was where my problems began.

Having sought to withdraw my funds I was told I first needed to have my ID documents verified. Fair enough, but having submitted the required docs this process then required three chat sessions, several unanswered e-mails, a complaint via Sportsbook Review and a month of procrastination to accomplish.

During one of the chat sessions I was actually taunted by one of the operators for having the temerity to check up on the process which was taking so long. During all this time my withdrawal request was being held on ice, and it took a lot of delving into the website to find any record of it which would enable me to screenshot it.

When SBR got on the case and Betway eventually approved my docs I was sent an e-mail heralding the "great news" that my docs had finally been approved, but no apology nor explanation for the delay was forthcoming.

Some weeks later I placed a bet of just over £11 (the maximum stake allowed!) on an enhanced odds fixture and it won, returning me the grand total - including my stake - of just over £33. A few hours later I received a grumpy e-mail informing me that I would henceforth be barred from ever participating in a Betway promotion again.

When Betway first arrived onto the scene some years ago they were a really fresh and decent outfit, but their attitude has deteriorated terribly. Whilst this company isn't a scam operation, there is no good reason to open an account with such a petty and unprofessional set-up when there are far better ones out there.

Yet another bookmaker that will not tolerate customers that dare to win. Yet another bookmaker that does not offer a ‘level playing field’ and discriminates against customers that win.

How can you possibly justify declining a bet from a customer with a modest winning record, but then gladly accept the same bet from another customer who has a losing record? All customers should be treated the same, but Betway are one of the worst in the industry for not doing so. They’ll welcome with open arms those that perhaps cannot afford to lose money, whilst turning away customers who have the temerity to win. It really is pathetic. It’s unfair.

Why can’t you ‘take the rough with the smooth’? Sometimes punters win, sometimes punters lose - why shouldn’t bookmakers be the same?

Guys - if your account with Betway hasn’t been barred or restricted to the point that you can’t place a decent bet, it means they’re beating you, SO STOP USING THEM.

After winning a few thousand quid, wouldn't let me withdraw to the card I'd deposited with. No phone support, no live chat, NO EMAIL SUPPORT! Only way to contact them was on Twitter.

Eventually dumped the lot back, figured there was only half a chance of getting my money out anyway.

Then got a VOIP call from India or thereabouts wanting funding information from me. Line so bad couldn't hear half of what was being said, obviously wasn't using them again anyhow but that was the cherry on top.

Previously had no issues withdrawing, but it looks like they are going under. Wouldn't trust them at all.

My account was verified by the security checks, I've managed to deposit over £2600. Everything was ok until I made a withdrawal request - and it was only for £210. They've requested from me some documents, I've sent them everything they want. Now my account is locked and of course as many others - I have no response from them. The worst bookie ever, stay AWAY!
