Just ordered 2 fresh bags of restaurant grade charcoal, and unlike the last two bags I ordered thes are actually lumps of charcoal, the last two bags were bits with no lumps, it worked but not perfect, I’ve still given 4 stars as I’ve been using big K for a while and that’s the first time I had not the best bag, but ordered again as previously all was good, and is again, I must have been unlucky to get two bags of bits.

Really great service, easy to order and arrived extremely quickly. This is the best charcoal I’ve found to use with my Big Green Egg. Such a good burn

Firstly the online ordering is easy to do, then the charcoal is delivered quickly (2 days) and without any damage because it is sent inside large cartons.
I use Dura charcoal on an open mankal barbeque, there is no ventilation control, however the charcoal burns steadily and gives consistent good heat for cooking. Best of all there is very little ash flying around in the breeze. I prefer the Big K Dura charcoal brand to other suppliers solely on the ash problem, less mess and unsightly clouds of ash.

Been using BIGK products for many years for kettle BBQs and I find this restaurant grade the best value whilst also easy to light, consistent clean burn over several hours, no popping or bad odor. From time to time you get the odd big lumps which can be easily broken down with a hammer. Love the fact I can buy direct.

Great charcoal (Lump Wood Restaurant Grade) for bbq or Tandoor; I haven’t found better.

I used their charcoal last year and was impressed but unfortunately I won’t be using them again! When you order the products, you tend to presume you will get them delivered. I understand the products were received by the delivery company two days after I ordered them and thought great. Delivery was scheduled for the following day and so waited, waited, waited a little more, checked the tracker, still waited and then the tracker changed to apologies. No communication from APC. Following day, same again, waited well you get the gist. Day 2 no delivery! Contacted the so called delivery company as I received no communication about delays or why I have not received. Finally told I was upgraded to AM delivery following day. Surprise, surprise no delivery. Contacted Big K for a refund, which they have honoured 5 working days later. Apparently, paint spillage damaged my package which is strange as I my delivery was “upgraded”. All the company had to do was inform me and I would have requested a replacement. But a week of nothing? Very poor customer service by both. Why give them for 1 star, I didn’t receive the products and they chose the delivery company. Also, if you have a customer who has been letdown over a whole week after purchasing your products, you would offer something as an incentive to keep the customer. But no, just an apology and my refund, which I had to ask for.

just one small problem delivery was a day late ,one box was damaged, to be fair normally there is no problem
may be just a one off, but the product is a amazing

Very disappointed with APC Delivery, the driver nearly ripped my door trying to open it because he left all 4 boxes with charcoal in front of the door and then couldn’t open it and start to smash it into the charcoal boxes like a madman.

I've been buying Big K fire logs for a couple of years now to use alongside local seasoned hardwood in my wood burner - maybe 1 heat log for every 4 or 5 regular logs to produce & maintain the best long lasting burn. I 've tried a few different brands but Big K have been by far the best value & most substantial.

And its free delivery & they normally arrive within a couple of days.

They were delivered promptly , well packaged n the delivery driver was very helpful n put them in the porch for me , thank you Sean.
They burn well I ordered the briquettes the first time then the kiln dried logs and the briquettes the second time . I use them on a huge villager A log burner n they last quite a long time if I remember to shut it down !
I would definitely recommend and I will be ordering again very soon .

The wood wool firelighters are well made, work brilliantly, and came exceptionally well-packaged and very quickly. I have ordered these previously - this alone shows I must be happy. All good
