Ignition switch for a GlemGas stove

Needed an ignition switch for a Glem stove. They had the correct part listed for $47.91 including shipping. The switch arrived 2 weeks later, but they had sent the incorrect part. I tried to explain that an ignition switch is a momentary action switch (not an on/off toggle switch), but they kept insisting that they sent the correct switch. They suggested that I could return the switch and include the postage receipt for a refund, which I did. They did refund the original amount, but they did not refund my postage cost. I ordered 2 of the correct switches from the UK for less than half the cost including shipping.

Warning!!!! very bad experience with this company

Ordered remote they send incorrect one, different Part number, after 6x emails with photos, they still refuse except they sent the wrong one. Have given up.

Worst business EVER

This company is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. They over charged me for a part that was completely wrong, after lots of searching finally found a phone number to be able to call them.
Once on the phone to them I got nothing but excuses from the "manager" blaming former employees ohh and covid of course. It has been about 12 months and my issue still hasn't be resolved.
I very very strongly recommend that nobody use this business for anything.

I very rarely write a review about companies but on this occasion I feel compelled to do so.. I ENQUIRED about a washing machine spare part from these people & have received only email response which amounts to pure "clap trap".. I consider myself lucky though as I have not been as unfortunate as many people writing reviews on here as I have not lost any money.. I also suspect that the TWO reviews rating 4 & 5 star ratings are probably either the owners of the business or friends of same.. BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS !!!

This place charged me $203 for a…

This place charged me $203 for a breville food processor bowl and bowl cover.

I rang breville today to ask what the pieces are worth and they quoted $35 for the bowl and $25 for the bowl cover

I paid almost 4 times the price.

They only good thing is they displaced the next day and I recieved the parts within 3days if your not in a hurry save your money and buy directly from the manufacturer.

Good customer service quick delivery.

Needed a fridge draw replacement quickly prior to moving out. Item initially arrived damaged however was easy to contact customer service to get a replacement which arrived in a timely manner. Reasonable price and quick postage via courier (approx 2 business days) with an accurate tracking portal. Good communication with customer service via email. I was apprehensive to use this company due to the extensive poor reviews however was pleasantly surprised.

everything is overpriced scam with postage

everything is overpriced the goods the delivery cost the surcharge they say free delivery for orders over $50 max 500 grams the product i ordered would not weigh over 100 grams but they tell you its over 500 grams and does not qualify for free postage.

Bigwarehouse.com.au stopped answering…

Bigwarehouse.com.au stopped answering my inquiries by email after they initially requested more information about a rangehood filter I wanted. I sent them additional information as requested and thereafter sent two emails requesting follow up/responses. This was over two weeks ago. No answer. Either they don't want business or, if they cannot help out they cannot be bothered letting me know they cannot assist. Pretty strange way to run a business. I have never left negative reviews (plenty of positive ones), but this joint deserves a zero rating.

I wish I had the option to select 0…

I wish I had the option to select 0 stars. They only want your money. Took 22$ from me for express shipping and it is now almost 2 weeks since order and I am still waiting. They are clearly aware of delays with Aus Post due to COVID, however why have express post as an option and have it displayed on your home page "Need it fast, next day delivery, express post". Mislead customers with false information and take their money. Will never buy from them again. Worst customer service.

buyer beware

I ordered a replacement fan for my fan forced oven back in July, this was delayed multiple times due to covid. When big spares finally got the item, they said their supplier had changed the price and were sticking the price difference to me, but were doing me the favor as they were charging less than they would have after this price change.

They offered that I either pay double the price or refund the item I'd be waiting close to 4 months for. I needed the part so I begrudgingly paid the difference.

When the item arrived I found that the mounting holes in the fan did not contain thread to mount the new fan to the mounting plate, of course my oven was already in bits when this was discovered, so I had to modify the mount by creating thread to accept the screws.

I notified bigspares about this issue and asked for a partial refund given the delays, price increases and now incorrect fitting item.

They didn't want to hear about it and said we've already given you a discount (ha! A price increase more like) and their manufacturer says there's no issues with the fan.

I will certainly be sourcing any spares from a different company given these issues.

Accept orders for parts they don't have in stock and can't supply in a reasonable time

Ordered some parts for dishwasher on 30th of July. Web site said the part was available within 1 - 3 weeks. It is now 6 weeks later, no communications from them and no reply to my email sent 3 days ago. No phone number to ring them on. Have contacted our bank to refund the payment. I discovered that they have been fined by ACCC in the past for misconduct via their online store - ie taking payment for parts that they were unable to supply within a reasonable time. ACCC web site public-registers/undertakings-registers/big-warehouse-pty-ltd

UPDATE: We received a refund from this company after lodging a dispute with the bank. We have still never to this day had any communication from them, obviously they don't care much about their reputation.

Done know what some people are talking about. Ordered some parts and found one damaged . Contacted BigWarehouse and they were more than happy to send out a replacement part in good time at no expense to me. Thanks BigWarehouse

Please check with manufacturer before using this company...

Ordered parts for washing machine on the presumption I was getting three pieces as listed on the specific parts page. They only shipped out one piece and charged me nearly triple of what the part is worth. Bought the extra 2 from Bosch at a third of the price. Never use these guys again.

Product never arrived …

I ordered a part in June and since I had not received it in August I wrote two emails a week apart to them.No reply ! I ended up getting a refund from my bank who will look into the matter. Have to agree with the majority of people who said don’t go to them.l

Do not waste your time ! Shop elsewhere !

Do not waste your time with this company, possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced, I honestly cant recall worse, no responses to repeated emails asking about delivery, I had to call them to find out why it was taking so long for my order to arrive, 2 months and the parts arrived and don’t fit correctly even though they are for the correct model.
Look somewhere else, spend your money with a company that cares.
I wish I had checked the reviews before dealing with them, that’s why I am warning others.

Two months waiting for product to be…

Two months waiting for product to be dispatched. No contact from company to get an update about delivery, very frustrating to receive a poor service where you pay for a product supposed to be in stock but after 60 days the order still appears as Pending Fulfillment.
