Bike Shippa Opiniones 

Bikeshippa claimed to be able to ship my bike from the UK to Germany in a week. The bike was sent on August 4th 2025, it is now October 29th 2025 and the bike is yet to arrive, perhaps lost, who knows.

I say that because Bikeshippa's Sales Director, Jason Clare has gone awol, blocked me on WhatsApp and not responding to emails. Dreadful customer service considering the near 200 Euros they charge for shipping.

I would not suggest using, if you want to see your bike again.

All was great with this business until it wasn’t. Jason was super responsive when he was trying to land the deal. He assured us our bikes were insured and gave no specific packing instructions. The bikes were carefully packed with spacers etc and surrounded by 10m of bubble wrap. One arrived crushed. Jason tells that UPS won’t pay the insurance because ‘the bike wasn’t packed properly and could have been damaged before packing’. The latter despite never asking for proof of no damage before packing. Clearly ludicrous. He won’t send us a PDS of the insurance cover or show evidence of the communication with the insurer. We can only assume he never paid for insurance. I would recommend do not touch. Steer very very clear.

There was previously a break down in communication with the company that has been satisfactory resolved, thank you for Jason, even when he was on holiday resolving this. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I used this company at the end of my bikepacking trip, and needed to ship my bike from the UK to Canada, on a time sensitive basis before I was flying out to another country. The price was really good compared to other offerings I had seen - cost about $500 CAD plus a small import fee (charged at Canadian border).

I was told by Jason that I could either get my bike picked up by a UPS truck at a specific address, or I could drop it off at a UPS store. I chose the latter option as I was arriving in an unfamiliar city at the end of my trip, and I had informed him of the specific city I would be ending in. However, on the day I needed to drop it off, I realized that the UPS locations available in that city did not accept bike boxes at all due to size, and I had to make an expensive and inconvienent trip to a nearby city to find a place to actually drop it off, which was honestly quite stressful.

I informed him of this issue and he never responded to my email. To be fair my bike did get delivered, and UPS tracking worked well, although I probably wont use this service again.
