Poor cancellation process don’t tell you when your policy ends you just have to guess. No email nothing!

I Got free 30 days bike insurance with the purchase of a brand new Trek bicycle, and within two weeks, looked to extend my insurance for the whole year with them.

I Emailed them with a query, as the email said that I’d receive a discount along with a free month of insurance (as it was with a new bike) but the promotional link didn’t work.

I received a response asking for the code so they could look into it, I sent it over to them…. But then nothing. Chased them up 5 days later…. Nothing…. So, I took up insurance elsewhere as it worked out a lot cheaper than the free month and the discount I would have got with them anyway.

Their loss.

Ich habe insgesamt vier Fahrräder bei Bikmo versichert und hätte daher eine entsprechend zuverlässige und professionelle Abwicklung im Schadenfall erwartet.

Anfang August habe ich einen Schaden gemeldet. Bis heute wurde die Reparatur noch immer nicht freigegeben. Eine derart langwierige und mühsame Bearbeitung ist für mich nicht nachvollziehbar und bei einer Versicherung schlicht inakzeptabel.

Gerade im Schadenfall zeigt sich, welchen Service eine Versicherung tatsächlich bietet. Meine bisherigen Erfahrungen mit der Schadenabwicklung bei Bikmo sind leider äußerst enttäuschend.

Rubbish. Bike broke due to water damage in the motor, I've been with bikmo for 2 years, always paid my insurance yet they said that they won't take my claim. If my bike has broke, I should be able to make a claim. I provided proof that it was broken. Take forever to respond, rarely answer the phone. Not only that, I've been without the bike for over a month because they take so long to reply as I assumed I would get a claim. Total waste of my time and waste of money. Cancelling and will never use them again and will inform others not to use them. Total waste of my money.

I also find it interesting that they do not respond to any negative review and even attempt to make it right.

Very simple instructions to get covered

Bikmo has been excellent each time I had to make a claim; they answer all my questions and get me a settlement quickly. When something awful happens like theft, it's really reassuring to know my insurance company will help me get back on the road quickly

Ich habe vor 14 Tagen eine Versicherung abgeschlossen und bis heute keine Anmeldedaten, so wie es versprochen wurde, zugesendet bekommen. Per Mail ist der Kontakt äußerst langwierig und man wird hingehalten. Telefonisch ist niemand zu erreichen obwohl man in den Servicezeiten anruft. Diese Versicherung ist nicht zum empfehlen

Never had to make a claim but better to be safe than sorry. I find the price for the 'PLUS' policy is competitive & provides all the cover I could ever need. Customer support is prompt to help with any queries so overall, I would Recommend BIKMO insurance to family/friends & hope to have many more years of security & no claims with Bikmo.com. 😁🚴🏽‍♂️🚲🚴🏽‍♂️💖

Absolutely useless.Cowboys and scammers.Do not ever use this company

I got fast responses from Bikmo for new contracts/questions as long as there was no damage where support was really needed.
Now I am in the situation that support was needed as my bike got damaged in an accident and I am waiting for an answer from Bikmo for a month now.
In the end it would have been more efficient to keep my money, get no insurance and fix it on my own - which would have been way faster and maybe in the end also connected to less stress.

Abwicklung eines Schadens dauert jetzt schon fast 3 Wochen. Auf mehrfaches Nachhaken per Mail (Telefonnummer gibt es nicht) meldet sich wochenlang niemand. Und das mit dem Premium-Paket der Versicherung. Keine Empfehlung.

Appalling customer service experience. The website wouldn't allow me to change one of my bikes, they failed to respond to several emails and didn't answer their phone despite several attempts.
I had no other option than cancelling the policy, which they accepted without question! So avoid!

Hello bikmo are very quality service and very understanding of your needs to insurance for your bike great to deal with

My case was very well resolved due to Aaron’s help. I was a bit worried my bike will be scrapped even despite small damage, but eventually everything went well and I get my bike back and my insurance payment was issued in a days! Very happy with the service. The waiting time could be improved, but that’s just a suggestion. Do recommend, anyway!
