Ordered small cupboard for wall. Arrived very badly packaged and 2 ceramic items shattered. Item took a long time to arrive and very little info given from seller Rishu Goyal. Eventually received 2 replacement items..one broken again and colours totally different to website. Having emailed numerous times with no response, I have now approached my bank to seek refund. Steer clear of this sham company.

I ordered and paid for my item which never arrived! Despite telephone calls and emails the company would not communicate. BEWARE!

Beautiful rug in gorgeous colours. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the threads pull a bit too easily and there are a couple of hard knots. Otherwise it’s perfect. My second rug and I’d definitely buy more.

I ignored reviews because i loved the cabinet. Totally gutted. No cabinet and no refund!

The cabinet we ordered arrived damaged (2 compacted/broken corners). Despite multiple emails, numerous attempted phone calls, the online chat on multiple occasions, the online webform, Etsy messaging (we bought through the website direct not Etsy) we have heard no response and are subsequently left with a damaged cabinet with no way of returning for a undamaged one. STRONGLY AVOID

Scam company, avoid!! I purchased a rug from them that has never arrived. They’ve provided a screenshot of their own sales software showing the rug marked as delivered but I never received any tracking details or notification of it being sent, or any actual proof of delivery. And now my emails are just being ignored. Absolute scammers!

Ordered a rug, had to chase to find out what had happened to it, they sent me shopping details. I had to keep tracking, the courier service they used, told me they’d been told to leave at my doorstep, like I’d told them!! I’d never do this, as I live on a busy road by a bus stop etc. The courier said to go back to the company, I’ve chased and asked for a replacement or refund and they’re now ignoring me. Don’t buy from them, they don’t have an official email address only gmail, I’d usually not purchase from a company without a business email!! What was I thinking!!

Placed order all fine, said 6-10 days for delivery (for £6 which I think is quite expensive when it takes that long). I emailed 7 working days after I placed the order (10 actual days) to ask when they might dispatch and heard nothing. Emailed again at 12 working days and heard nothing. Emailed for a third time requesting an update and said I would contact my bank mainly because I thought the website was a scam. At this point they said they’d dispatch it the next day. I didn’t get a dispatch email so I contacted again to ask. They just said that yes it had been dispatched. So I had to ask for tracking as it wasn’t available anywhere. Product did arrive (and it does look lovely) but was just in a brown bag with no protection at all for a metal item that luckily wasn’t dented in transit. Took 23 days to arrive, not convinced it would have without my emails. Website seems lovely but would avoid at all costs.

I purchased a ‘100% recycled sari silk’ pyjama set that feels like polyester. I tried to contact them by email 3 times and phone multiple times to confirm what the fabric is and then request a refund when I didn’t get an answer. I never had any response so returned the item according to their return instructions including my information. I haven’t had any response and have obviously not received a refund. They do not answer the phone, the number goes straight to what sounds like a personal voicemail. I believe this company is a scam and I have lost £69. Do not purchase from them.

I ordered Embroidered Footstool and asked for express delivery , Joseph did it for free of cost.

Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing from this company !!!! I have purchased a wooden coffee table, with a glass top !! But I was not sent the glass top , I have emailed the company but what a surprise I have been ignored so now I have half a table , do not make an order with these robbing bast#@!% !! Don't ignore the bad reviews other wise like meself and others you will lose your money .

Wife ordered a foot stool which when it arrived did not look like the picture. She started a return and posted the stool back for £9 with proof of return.

Birch and Yarn have refused to receive the order backand will not refund the money. It is now sat in a sorting office somewhere and she is £70 out of pocket.

We have both contacted them via email and phone on numerous occasions over th past 3 weeks to no reply.

Dear Birch and Yarn. Sort this out and I will remove the review. If not I will be considering this theft and taking further action.

Scam site. Took money. Furniture never delivered. No customer service.

The sari shirt looks exactly how it is pictured and is quite stunning.
However, it was pretty funky smelling on arrival, speedy delivery is not their middle name and on the website it showed one size fits all but what arrived was s/m which luckily fit.

Ordered a rug on 24 Feb. As I received no confirmation of my order, I emailed the company on 3 March. It is now 11 March. I have had no response to my email and there is no sign of my rug. Is this company real or just some scam? If it does actually exist the customer service is appalling. Still waiting for my rug!!!

These guys are genuinely scam artists. Not sure they used to be - but they are now. I don't know if the company went under or something and the website is a front but you won't receive your product, you won't receive any communication and you'll end up having to get your money back by reporting them as fraud to your bank. Pls make sure you action fraud these guys as they shouldnt be allowed to trade. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY IN 2025, YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR STUFF

Extremely poor quality cushion cover. Zip is not worth even having as it won’t stay closed. The pattern is so bright and lovely but the overall quality makes it a very disappointing purchase. Customer service is poor at best! Phone number sounds like a personal number with no one answering on the numerous attempts. The ‘Live Chat’ is no such thing and no one responds. I sent an email to voice my concerns whereby I was sent a short sharp reply advising me to send the item back. I have replied asking for a pre paid postage label as I am unhappy to pay for a return of a faulty item. No response.
Don’t bother purchasing from this company. It all looks beautiful and colourful but I suspect item are made with the cheapest available materials and by exploitation of cheap labourers.

Terrible. No update 2 weeks after full payment. No reply after one whole day to an email request. See no way of getting contact in order to cancel the order. How can you request payment for an item you dont have in stock without saying that!!!!

Really this is a sham!

Even after reading all the TrustPilot reviews, I took gamble buying a vintage table from Birch&Yarn, for £290. I even paid on credit card in case I receive a situation of challenging refund process or lack of customer support.

It did not get off to a good start. My tracking or order was never updated after payment. I contacted the company but no reply was received. I tried calling, went to voicemail every time even within their working hours.

Today, just over a week from payment, the table arrived, unannounced and quite a surprise! It is absolutely stunning (if you are into this sort of indian shic worn vibe). It was worth the mild worry alone. My gamble paid off, it seems. It is probably one of my favourite purchases of furniture in a long time, and the price was amazing, and apparently free postage as well. Thank you, whoever you guys are!

I think they could work on their contact and tracking system, as a lot of others have mentioned. But I am a happy customer. Will definitely shop here again.
