I am excited to introduce Biscotto Stones International AS, a proud distributor of Biscotto Stones from Naples, Italy. These handmade stones made from clay in the gulf of Naples are designed for Pizza Ovens. Biscotto Stones offer the unique feature of enabling a pizza to be cooked with a crispy crust at 850°F for 60-90 seconds, without burning the pizza. Biscotto Stones maintain and evenly distribute the heat due to the mineral content of the alluvial clay used in the construction of the stone. As a partner of a retailer of OONI ovens, we are thrilled to offer these pizza stones which enhance the quality of the gourmet baking experience. The Biscotto Stones can be shipped to your store, or as a drop sale shipping direct to your customer. All direct shipping will be shipped using express shipping from DHL Express, and all shipments are insured against damage under transport. Biscotto Stones can be used in wood and gas ovens for businesses as well as leisure use.

Hi Greg,
Thanks for the great review!
I’m sorry for the inconvenience the transportation crew gave you by not transporting the stones flat.
After following up this matter with DHL, they finally was able to deliver the stone in one piece 👍😎.
Keep me updated on your journey using the new stone.

How to avoid paying IMPORT DUTY
BISCOTTO Stones International (Norway) should ship stones from an EU country (for example, Denmark or Sweden) if the customer's country is a member of the EU. As far as I know, the stones are made in the EU (Italy). In this way, the buyer would save some money because he would not have to pay import duties.

Hi Izolan,
There should not be an import duty on Biscotto stones. There might’ve be a VAT (Value Added Tax), and that varies from country to country.
Incredible service, super fast shipping
Ordered mine on a Wednesday, received it securely packaged in Philadelphia the following Wednesday. I can't complain about an overseas shipment within 5 business days!

Respuesta de Biscotto Stones International AS
Hi Sam,
As I explained in the email I sent you earlier, all Biscotto stones are hand made, and can vary some is size. This is also stated on the product side together with instructions on what must be done before using the stone.
Just use some fine sandpaper to even the sides on the wings, and it will fit beautifully.
Yes you need to season/cure the stone before you can use it.
Please read the instructions on this page:
https://www.biscottostones.com/pages/before-use-of-the-biscotto-stone
and this one:
https://www.biscottostones.com/pages/information-on-the-seasoning-use-and-maintenance-of-biscotto-stones
The last one is a menu link on top of the page.
So far so good
So far so good! Haven't used the stone yet but the first one was severely cracked when delivered and they sent another one out right away which safely made it! Awesome customer service!
