Contrary to some bad reviews my only gripe was with FedEx delivering it incorrectly. Items are good and made great gifts!
Terrible company
As other have previously written, AVOID Bits and Pieces like the plague. Terrible company. 2 months to deliver 1 item with no communication other than an initial order confirmation email. Your money is taken at the time of ordering (unlike many reputable companies who do not take payment until dispatch) then you here nothing. Also no response to emails requesting delivery or refund. Item did actually turn up after 2 months, but i will never order from them again.

customer service is premium rate number, they actually charge you to complain to them.
you are allowed to pay extra for express delivery then get a message with the order telling to you to expect a 28 day turn around time. worse than useless but i cant cancel the order without paying their premium rate phone line. disgusting.
Awful experience
Awful experience, I ordered 3 jigsaws, I got one which wasn't even the right one, took months of badgering them to get my money back but now they are sending stuff to my address like catalogues and giving my address out to other companies and their sending me their junk. Stay far away!
Good service
I ordered a miniature dolls house kit from Bits and Pieces UK on 12 November & received an emailed order acknowledgement. I then decided to read the reviews for this company - and panicked. I thought I had no chance of actually receiving the item or a refund. I emailed customer support & received a reply advising me that the item had been shipped via Yodel. I then received an email from Yodel advising me of the delivery date. It arrived today (1 week after ordering). The kit was a very good price and delivery was efficient. I have no complaints whatsoever. I have given 4 stars and not 5 simply because the order confirmation didn’t give any idea of an expected delivery date.
They sell your details
What I ordered was fine but they obviously sell your details to other companies. With my order I received loads of marketing catalogues and have been receiving loads more through the post ever since. Very annoying as I did not sign up to receive any of these.
Not reliable
This company lost my order and I heard nothing for 2 months. Then took 10 days to refund my payment - but only after a reminder.

I ordered puzzles on 15 April. I understood that there may be a delay in the current situation, but after 28 days came and went, I emailed asking for an update - I received no reply. I phoned after 5 weeks to find out when they were due and was told that they had one but were waiting for the rest from the USA. They would not split the order and send the first one. I emailed again a week later - no response. The first puzzle eventually turned up. I phoned again after more than six weeks to be told that they could not fulfil the order before September and I would be refunded for remaining puzzles. I never received any email stating this and would not have known had I not phoned. They refunded the cost of the remaining puzzles but no contribution towards the full postage that I had paid for effectively receiving one puzzle.
Absolutely disgusted with this company and wish I had read the reviews before placing an order.
No customer service!!
Placed order in April, no communication other than to confirm order, enquired if items had been dispatched, no answer, did not answer phone, Several emails later I contacted credit card company and then received email stating all but one of my items out of stock, one item plus a 300 piece free puzzle (I had ordered 1000 piece) arrived, nothing to say what was happening with other items on order. Finally received refund of remaining items however was not told this by company and no apologies, do not use this company.

Placed an order on 8th April 2020 and payment was taken on the 18th April for all three items i had ordered.I understood that it may take up to 28 days for delivery due to the current situation. On the 12 May i sent an email to see if any update and got an automated response saying please allow 28 days for delivery. One item arrived on the 20th May and i assumed the rest will follow but no i just had refund put in to my account on the 25th May for the remaining items. No email no phone call nothing in regards to why they cannot deliver the remaining two items. They should not take your money if they have no intention of completing your order or contacting you to advise they cannot fulfill your order. Will never use them again and would advise that nobody else does. The website states satisfaction guaranteed what a joke.
Appalling customer service
Terrible service, terrible. The website looks so professional, as does the order confirmation and l eagerly awaited my purchase. Then, nothing. Still nothing. I tried the (hugely expensive) customer service number, but they do not answer. I waited for communication from them. Nothing. Despite several emails from me, no reply from them-no refund either. Then, an email from them after about five weeks saying they are out of stock and do not know when they will get more. (No mention of refund, obviously)
I have seethed with impotent rage.
But, as l had a paper trail, my bank were able to refund me within 24 hours of alerting them. I hope this helps others to get their money back.
Badly let down Bits and Pieces!
Placed an order on 6th April (payment taken 7th). Heard nothing apart from marketing emails. Emailed three times over the next few weeks. Nothing. Eventually called and got through to speak to someone who (after 30+ days) checked and said a refund had been issued the day before as the puzzle I had ordered had been discontinued. So why had my order been confirmed?? Excuse given was the system was lagging behind what was showing on the website. But why no communication to let me know earlier? Only 1 star and that is for the gentleman I spoke to as he was apologetic and perfectly understood why I wouldn't be ordering ever again.
This website is a scam
This website is a scam. I have ordered two jigsaw puzzles over a month ago and neither have turned up. I've emailed them on several occasions to chase and ultimately ask for a refund but have never received a reply.
I made the mistake of ordering from these jokers before looking up reviews about them and can see that many others have had a similar experience.
I was very disappointed
I was very disappointed with my last order of jigsaws. Buy two, get one free and I was warned that the free one was their choice, ok. I was also warned that one was likely to take 2-3 weeks and all would be held up to mail together, ok.
Eventually I received the two smaller puzzles and a free one but no news of the third. I rang Customer services and eventually got to speak to a rather curt adviser who without apology told me that the third puzzle was discontinued. I do understand the disruption of stockflow at this time but a generalised sheet in my parcel explaining would have saved a lot of agro. The missing puzzle was the reason for the order (a 1000 piece whereas the others where junior 300s) so in addition to the total lack of understanding or apology from the telephone operative I feel very sore.. 20, PE19 6GW.

I ordered 3 puzzles plus a free 1,000 piece puzzle in late March. Within days I received the free puzzle. Unfortunately it was a 300 piece puzzle which was missing 5 pieces. 😡I have subsequently received nothing despite numerous emails (to which I have received no reply and calling the customer support line, hanging on for 25 and then giving up. Next stop my credit card provider. Place an order at your peril!

Emailed back saying a cheque would be unacceptable.

Now 22nd of April.
Have made a 'Code 53' claim with my Visa credit card.

Hi - Unfortunately I've had the same experience. I ordered a puzzle for my parents who are in isolation. It was supposed to be delivered to them on the 9th April. It still has not arrived. I found an email address for their supposed customer service and emailed them several times but no reply. I have telephoned them twice today but haven't got through and with the extortionate phone rate they are charging I didn't want to hold on for too long. I will make sure that everyone is aware of how awful this company is and to avoid them.

ordered 3 puzzles, two arrived have emailed loads no response at all tried calling the PREMIUM RATE number at 13p per minute, no response at all just left hanging on. Still not had a reply and no refund. Shocking I suspect this company although say they are uk are actually not. Tried 3 different email addresses 2 got bounced back!!! Shady and shoddy to say the least. Will not be dealing with this company again
