I would not hesitate to buy from Blackbridge again. Communication was excellent from start to finish. The quality of the bed is second to none. Thank you very much for an amazing service.

Local company with personal touch.

I wanted to order a coffee table that I had seen online.
I usually like to view items before I buy but for health reasons was unable to attend the store.
I rang the store and spoke to the owner
(how often are you able to do that these days) he described the table to me as I was concerned about height and how solid it would be, he assured me the table was substantial and as I had bought my settee from their store he was able to check the the dimensions and could see the height of coffee table was compatabe with couch.
He also explained there was a bit of self assembly which was really easy but if I was unable to manage it he would pop round to help assemble it
I did manage to assemble myself it was really straightforward as described by him.
The coffee tabe arrived on time and driver took it to required room for me.
I am very pleased with the coffee table good quality, it looks great .

Received order significantly damaged…

Received order significantly damaged and was expected to travel a long distance to replace the item. No compensation offered. Communication wasn’t the greatest to begin with either which was frustrating and disappointing.

I was disheartened to receive your 1 star review, I have reviewed the circumstances regarding your order. I can see that as we don’t deliver to your location that you opted to collect the unit from us. It is unfortunate that you did not check the item before setting off home. When a customer collects from us then reports what could be transit damage, it is always more difficult to ascertain what could be the cause. In this instance we agreed to swap what was a really badly damaged unit for a new one. We discussed options on how this could be swapped over as again we don’t deliver to your area. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 states “the trader must bear any reasonable costs of returning them, other than any costs incurred by the consumer in returning the goods in person to the place where the consumer took physical possession of them.” To save you the travel all the way to Inverness we agreed to meet at a location of your choosing with us covering two thirds of the distance, for us to swap the unit over and for the order to be fulfilled, I know that this was completed on the 22nd of September. I hope you are now enjoying your furniture. All the best.

Great service from in store (Alex) and after care (Craig) overall. Good guidance from Alex when picking the items, and needed to change one retrospectively (due to me getting the dimensions wrong) which he sorted out with no hassle. One of my items did arrive damaged but Craig and his team went out of their way to sort this out quickly. Everything now in the house (bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and bed) and very happy overall.

Abysmal After Sales and Craig's Huge Ego

Can't fault Lynda on the day in store ordering the goods. Excellent customer service skills - credit where it's due. As for after sales and won't-give-me-his-surname-Craig: abysmal. Failed on mattress delivery, poor excuses, didn't follow up with communication. Blaming everyone but himself. Tip: a company only proves its worth when things go wrong - that's the true measure and Blackbridge needs to get its act together, especially when it comes to some of the staff it hires.

9 months and no item

Paid for item in full, in November, expecting it to be delivered early January. Between January and August the delivery date was pushed back. In June I asked for my money back and was told no but I could have it discounted and was refunded some money. It took until August and another call from me to finally be told they had no idea if the time would ever arrive. A refund has been issued. Overall a terrible experience and I won’t be using Blackbridge again. They had my money for almost 9 months!

Disappointing customer service

Very disappointed with the lack of resolution by a Blackbridge to a mistake made by the warehouse who supplied two wrong items of bedroom furniture when collected on Friday 29th May. While we were happy with the service on the shop floor from Alex, we received a very poor service from Craig who dealt with our isssue, afterwards. He gave no apology for the mistake, citing it as human error, but said he would arrange for a courier to uplift wrong cabinets from our home and bring the correct ones, giving us a delivery date of 5th June. Courier arrived and collected the wrong items but no delivery of the items required was done. When we contacted Craig again on 6th June, ( still did not receive an apology) he said our items would now be delivered on Monday 9th June. Having now contacted the Courier directly, we are advised that there will be no delivery to us today. A very inadequate outcome with no further communication from Craig who clearly does not value Blackbridge customers.

Early delivery.

Ordered on line and was told that the item was out of stock and wouldn't be delivered. We received a phone call and item was delivered on the arranged date early April great service.

Massive delivery delays!

Nothing wrong with half the order I received i.e. 1 bed instead of 2, but the lack of communications and the lies when I had to contact them (which was in itself an ordeal) was extremely disappointing. Delivery time for the bed went from 10 days to 3 weeks to a further delay due to the colour not being available of a total of 12 weeks! Eventually got the owner of the company who apologised but hard to sleep on apologies. This is the second piece of furniture with long delays and no comms. There won't be a 3rd!!

Ordered online, phoned to ask about delivery, very satisfied with how it was dealt with, delivery on day and time , very pleasant delivery boys. Would not hesitate to buy again.
