Es gibt keine besseren Apps für die Videobearbeitung als DaVinci Resolve
alle anderen kommen da nicht einmal annähernd heran.

Die Software ist in jeder Hinsicht extrem flexibel: Du kannst das Color Grading und die eigentliche Videobearbeitung in einem einzigen Arbeitsgang erledigen, ohne auf mehrere Programme zurückgreifen zu müssen. Zwar erfordert die Eingewöhnung etwas Zeit und die Lernkurve kann durchaus steil sein, doch stellt dies absolut kein Problem dar 😀

Unnecessarily complicated workflow that also puts a strain on weak PCs

I don't know how it is in the paid version, but the free version is designed in the style of "why make it simple when it can be complicated"... Another major problem: inability to turn off power-intensive features . In other words, even though you plan to create a simple video, all the advanced features of the program will be loaded - and on a slow PC it will then be practically impossible to create that simple video. It can't be that difficult to give the option to turn off advanced features.

Never had this problem with Adobe

Stay away if you don't have all your free time to troubleshoot and pull your hair out!

This company has huge problems. I wouldn't waste my time trying to learn this software, as it is full of bugs which have cost me serious money from wasted time. They never respond in a timely manner. I am a paid license holder for v.20.3.2. I have tried to ask for the support I am owed, but they consistently avoid me, likely because they don't have answers for why there is so much that just doesn't deliver based on their representations. The program itself is a tangle of odd and illogical twists and turns. They issue upgrades so full of things that don't work, it would blow your mind. 35 Years with Mac computers as a professional artist and this tops the list as the worst software of my career. Stay away!

Davinci Resolve in 2026 is a joke

Davinci Resolve in 2026 is plagued by so many random bugs and such notoriously unintuitive UX that I hate it with passion and will be switching to good old Premiere Pro. Absolute state of this company. Currently audio stop playing back mid project, and there's nothing I can do about it (forget soloing, routing, patching - nothing works) that I need to restart my project. This company is a joke.

G3 not detected on MacOS

The poor rating is because Black Magic Design engineers don't seem to think it's important to provide a straight forward path to make this product work.

Once you figure out the very confusing website and are able to download the necessary driver, just installing the driver won't make the device be recognized by the computer. You have to go into the guts of the MacOS by way of "recovery mode" and turn off several security settings. If you know what you are doing (because you've gone through the process a dozen times before), it will require several restarts and navigating through the system security settings before it will work. Otherwise, it won't.

On top of all that, the latest version 15 of the driver does NOT work at all with M2 Mac OS Sequoia. After trying multiple drivers (making sure to uninstall each before installing the next!), I finally found that version 12 does work.

The product works fine once it is finally recognized by the computer.

The implementation and documentation of this product is pure shit and I would NOT recommend this to anyone unless you have no other option.

I would have been willing to buy a higher ticket model of Black Magic streaming box, but based on my very frustrating experience with the UltraStudio G3, I have no faith whatsoever in Black Magic and will not pursue future purchases.

Big thumbs down to the Black Magic engineers for selling such a poorly implemented product.

Buggy, incomplete software

Charges an exorbitant of money for their editor but are too cheap to include the most common audio codec (AAC) on Linux. They don't even have a working Linux installer.

Horrible bunch of lauzy scammer…

Horrible bunch of lauzy scammer programmers. I hate your guts. You just wasted 5 hours of my life to crash, stuff my memory with cache and never save my tracking. THE WORST SOFTWARE IN THE HISTORY OF PROGRAMMING. Updates don't work. The UX is utterly against all logic. You deserve to fail as a business and I wholeheartedly wish that you do.

Da Vinci Resolve

Da Vinci Resolve, Used for a number of years now, never had any issues with it, Unusual perpetual license model I suspect this will eventually change to Annual. Excellent product, good value, powerful, steep learning curve though to be expected.
Would recommended for someone into video editing, better than Adobe in my opinion.
Not used, or needed to, customer service so cant comment on that.

Support is unhelpful and unresponsive

Support is unhelpful and unresponsive. I have given them what they want as well as called and followed up many times and now I get no response. Please do not use cloud share for important projects. Just send a drive and do not use cloud store. It's still very BETA even though they advertise it as not.

Lost Everything

After using Davinci Resolve for a while, I am unfortunately very disappointed with many aspects. Constant bugs, old-school settings and functions that they have refused to update, and now.. I have lost all my projects, because I backed up the wrong instance of the "Blackmagic Design" folder. Apparently two identically named folders are created when Davinci is installed, with only the one hidden in Appdata storing backups. Before sending my laptop in for repair I searched and got the answer; backup the "Blackmagic Design" folder. I did so, only to realize it was the other "Blackmagic Design" folder (that I didn't know existed) I should have backed up. Many others have complained about this with no real response from Blackmagicdesign. Great.

When I was initially introduced to Davinci, I was hoping for it be the future, but now I fear it. Because it seems we will only get more of the same old shit Above has been doing for so long.

Für den Kunden eine rundum tolle Erfahrung

Die Pocket Cinema Kameras sind ein tolles Stück Hardware, DaVinci Resolve das mit Abstand beste Videoschnittprogramm, es sind permanente Lizenzen mit allen zukünftigen Upgrades kaufbar, was heutzutage richtig erfrischend ist, die PCC hatte einmal ein richtig tolles Update gratis bekommen, und ihr Kundensupport geht weit über das Mindeste hinaus, was ich bei einem Reparaturauftrag mitbekommen durfte.

Powerful Tool, Frustrating Support Experience

We have been working with DaVinci Resolve for years and undeniably it is a powerful and feature-rich software. Blackmagic continuously adds impressive new features, which we really appreciate. However, the support experience is seriously disappointing.

Despite its strengths, DaVinci Resolve suffers from numerous quirks and bugs that disrupt our professional workflow. As users, we want to communicate these issues to Blackmagic so they can be addressed effectively. Unfortunately, every attempt to contact support feels unnecessarily complicated. Instead of a straightforward support email or a user account system that tracks your requests, you are required to fill out lengthy contact forms with personal details for every inquiry. There is no way to maintain ongoing communication or have a consolidated support history.

This outdated approach to customer support makes it hard to stay in touch and leaves professionals feeling frustrated. Blackmagic should consider implementing a proper support portal with user accounts to better serve their dedicated user base.

Assistenza INESISTENTE

un anno che provo a contattare il supporto per sapere come riparare la mia 6K pro con pixel bruciati e rispondono solo con il solito messaggio di risposta pre-impostato, se chiamo al numero non rispondono mai e non ci sta nessuno che parla italiano.
Il peggior servizio di assistenza. I prodotti sono buoni sicuramente ma se si riscontra qualsiasi problema la soluzione è acquistarne un altro nuovo perché non esiste nessun supporto tecnico, ecco il motivo per cui non bisogna acquistare prodotti Blackmagic. Il supporto post vendita è inefficiente anzi inesistente.

Una vera vergogna, quasi un anno di mail inviate al supporto tecnico e mai una risposta. Spero che risponderanno almeno al mio legale
