Took advantage of an offer to get my Kasumi serrated bread knife and two Japanese Knife Company Artisan knives sharpened. It’s the first time I’ve used a professional service. All knives are probably 20 years old and have only ever had my embarrassing attempts at sharpening.
The whole process was easy to follow. They send you a sturdy box with knife sleeves. You pop them in, seal the box send them back. The Kasumi came back as sharp as the day I bought it. The Japanese Knife Company ones came back even sharper than the day I purchased them. I thought they may prove difficult to sharpen as I seem to recall they were made from high speed tool steel. But no worries they can easily slice straight through a single sheet of newspaper.
On top of this great service They also sent me a free bread knife which has become the Mrs’ favourite knife, so keeps her away from mine.
Thanks chaps you’re bloody stars.
I’d die a happy man if I could sharpen one knife as well as you guys

Sent in my TOG knives (inc two identical) one of which was really shredded. I got a note back which said he’d give me 20 points if I could even tell which knife it was! Well.. I know the serial numbers so I want my 20 points lol…(but that’s the only way I could tell) seriously, this is the second time I’ve used the service and it’s fantastic. Good value, professional, fast and reliable. What more do you need. Highly recommend.

Very efficient service but most importantly the knives came back as new, even the ones with really bad dings and broken tips. Would recommend to anyone.

Superb service. Used twice now and knives come back either good as new or even better. Loved that they repaired some light damage when I did not exoect them too. They gave my custom forever. Knives sharpened were Japenese, German and Sheffield steel

Such a simple and efficient service. I requested service on line. 2 days later received packaging for free courier delivery service. Sent off knives in secure packaging and 5 days letter received back my 5 knives so sharp they cut through ripe tomatoes in one quick slice. It made such light work of finely slicing up turkey and ham instead of hacking off in thick slices. This is the second time I have used this service and I will definitely be using it again

Fantastic service, quick turnaround, knifes are now super sharp. They even fixed one of the knifes which was dented at the tip due to falling on a hard floor.

Great and fast service! The very informative and well-written website gave me the impression that these people really know their stuff (and that they care!). I also loved that they provide you with the kit for sending in your knives; this saved me a lot of time and hassle! The kit itself is also very easy to use, and they even provide the shipping label. So, all you have to do is pack up your knives and throw the flat box into your nearest post box - so easy! The turnaround was also incredibly impressive. My knives were returned much faster than expected, and in excellent (and very sharp) condition. Would genuinely recommend Blade&Butler in a heartbeat. Such great service, and such great value for money.

An excellent and convenient service for dometic knives - I'd forgotten what a joy sharp knives feel like. Because of my 10+ years of neglect of my knives B&B probably had to take quite a bit of material off - fine by me. The delivery was really easy to do, and the free Dolomiti knife was an excellent perk for ordering during the summer downtime. This company's heritage story really topped everything off, since I have distant family in the Italian-to-England knife sharpening tradition!
