This service is a thinly veiled scam. They claim they offer editing, but they do not. After chapters of editing, they weren't able to catch typos, didn't review grammar or sentence structure at all, and didn't have consistent corrections for things like punctuation use. They require payment in advance, then refuse to provide refunds when they fail. They try to handle everything by phone so there are no documented records of complaints or resolutions, but even with months of emails documenting expectations, agreed formatting rules, and editing goals - they still refuse. After over a year of fighting, I have 3 chapters I mostly edited myself, an about the author/intro/dedication with errors that were never corrected, a cover that I'm genuinely concerned is Ai generated, and am thousands of dollars poorer. Under no circumstances should you work with this company.

I have been in the publishing industry for about 13 years and know what to expect when it comes to getting a book out on the marketplace. We were dealing with formatting issues and gremlins. Alex slayed the dragon on this one, and gracefully navigated through this cumbersome endeavor. Moreover, Alex is a marketing wizard and knows what precisely it takes to launch an aggressive, viable, marketing campaign. We are still working with Alex on a daily basis, because we are, unequivocally, not finished with getting our book out there on as many platforms possible.
