Absolute scammers
Just like every other person mentioned this Business is an absolute scam. Praying on vulnerable business owners their invoices are extremely misleading and again like every other review I don’t know how this ABN is allowed to operate
BNReneal Absolute Scam
Complete scam of a company. Send out their letter about 4 months in advance to expiry to beat the legitimate ASIC letter, make it look as legitimate as possible to get your money. Realized this after payment, company refuses any refund, and their number provided isn't even attempted to be answered.
scammers overcharging for business name renew
scammers trying to overcharge for business renewal by mimicing legitimate renewal letters. Disgusting they have not been shut down yet. caught my wife about to renew her business name with them, thankfully got to it in time.
Scam company and should be shut down.
Scam company and should be shut down.
This is a scam
This is a scam. No service delivered. If funds are not returned I will take action to recover the funds and seek judgement against the person behind it.
Service Paid for, Product not delivered
As per all the other reports - Downright scam. Refused a refund, however we paid and no product delivered. Illegal under consumer law. Complaints lodged with consumer affairs, bank, fair trade and ASIC.
This is the email sent by Bnrenewal aka…
This is the email sent by Bnrenewal aka Bservice tried to threaten us with this email:
"Thank you for your email. I understand.
We are an ASIC registered agent, we offer the renewal service and you ordered it and authorised us to renew your business name.
When you ordered the business name renewal on our website, you ticked the boxes and accepted our terms and conditions, ASIC's TC and you gave us the authorisation to make all the necessary declarations to ASIC on your behalf and renew your business name.
I just suggest that you send all the emails we had to your bank if you want to dispute this payment.
If you dispute the payment by lying to the bank, if you misinform your bank about the payment (for example you state it was unauthorised or card fraud) - that is a serious offence, we will start a police investigation. Lying to the bank to get back the money - that is criminal activity.
Unfortunately, it happened before.
You accepted our TC and we do not give any refund as per our TC.
If you wish to do it on your own, you can do it, but we will not give you a refund, I am sorry.
As per your request, I paused the process now.
Please let me know if you want us to continue and finish the renewal process.
Kind regards,
Suzy Bishop"
We will take an action against this. Please beware of this scam!
"WE HAVE FINALLY RECEIVED REFUND FROM THE BANK. WE ALSO CANCELLED OUR CREDIT CARD TO BE SAFE AND REQUESTED OUR BANK FOR REFUND. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THEIR THREATS VIA EMAIL AND ASK BANK FOR REFUND."
Scammer - stay away
Your typical "renew your [insert name of service] now or you could be cancelled" scam. How ASIC let's this carry on is beyond me. Some people actually get fooled by it, although not sure how. Does not deserve ONE star, but ZERO is not an option.
Scam - beware
This company, owned by Csilla Vinkovicsne Caroli, offers a sophisticated scam where they say your business name is up for rewenal, and send you official looking documentation. I mistakenly paid the fee, and then decided to look further. Within a minute I contacted them to cancel the transaction when I realised they were scammers. Csilla Vinkovicsne Caroli - using the name "Suzy Bishop Customer Care", then claimed she was a registered agent of ASIC and that she was not a scammer. sigh. She then told me she was going to report me to police for credit card fraud. "If you dispute the payment by lying to the bank, if you misinform your bank about the payment (for example you state it was unauthorised or card fraud) - that is a serious offence, we will start a police investigation. Lying to the bank to get back the money - that is criminal activity."
ASIC were very quick to respond to me, "They are not authorised by ASIC in any way." And, "Having an agent registration does not give them authority from ASIC to act on our behalf." I have lodged a credit card transaction dispute. Changed my credit card. Informed their domain provider of the scam, and taken further steps.
Edit: I am pleased to report my bank & credit card have refunded the money. I hope that ASIC can take action from their end, and at the very least the credit card companies can stop her using their services.
It should also be noted that the scammer contacted me several more times until I informed her she had a substantial digital footprint (none of which is good).
Each year I get letters suggesting that…
Each year I get letters suggesting that I renew my business name with BN Renewals. Can't even get through to them or leave a message, and they never respond to calls when you can leave a message. Clearly a scam to hijack your ABN. Have sent them an email requesting they remove my ABN from their database and will proceed with legal action if they don't do so. Time ASIC and the ACCC shut them down.
Unwarranted solicitations are annoying
This company is still having a go with these with unwarranted solicitations. Just a mass-mail spam to all and sundry soliciting for this service. It usually precedes ASIC's notifications of renewal, which by the way you can easily do yourself. I find these unsolicited contacts an annoying distraction. A bit more info to who they are as they seem to use a number of business aliases.
The website appears to be registered to the name :
Csilla Vinkovicsne Caroli
You can see the numerous companies registered with ASIC around this modus operandi. All around mid last year as well.
Just do an ABN lookup for -> 36618716019
Scam
Scam, stay away, these mongrels will rip you off, only renew through ASIC
SCAM: Bnrenewal (Business Name Renewal)
I've just been sent an email from this company asking me today (30th August 2021) to renew my business name which doesn't expire until January 2022 through a link they provided. They attached a copy of my most recent business renewal letter (not sure how they got a copy?). The cost they listed for the renewal was not in line with the cost listed on the ASIC website. When I asked them why they are asking so early, they responded 'We start sending out early reminders, because if there is anything to change with the business name, it must be done before expiry day. It happened before that somebody wanted to transfer the business name, and the process went over the expiry day and ASIC required to pay an extra one-year renewal by the original holder just because of a couple of days.' This is a SCAM. Renew your business licence directly through the ASIC website.
How can this scam company still be…
How can this scam company still be operating with an ABN number in Australia? The government is obviously complicit with this scam. A political party donor maybe?
Scammers offering name renewal at…
