EXcellent, meticulous and patient
Both engineers have been working hard and done excellent jobs in installing the new boiler, given the design of our flat makes it much harder to install a new boiler. They even do the cleanup meticulously and explain the new heating system patiently. Definitely recommend.

So impressed and happy with the work and job result- had an old Megaflow replaced with a new larger one- Andrew and Charlie did such an excellent job: prompt, top-notch professional, neat and tidy and Andrew explained everything so well too. Reliable and efficient
They fitted the boiler two years ago, and have done the annual devices since. They remind me when the service is due, and then contact the tenant to fix the appointment. They are very reliable and efficient.

Normally I never write reviews, so this is my first one because I am absolutely fuming.
On their BoilerBreakdown website they clearly claim they charge "prices that don't cost the Earth" call out other engineers for "charging exorbitant prices", but they contradict themselves and have the audacity to charge me £144 for a 16 minute diagnosis but still no running hot water!
I spoke to them and the dude on the phone spent more time repeating himself to me what the engineer did onsite than the actual total time the engineer was there himself! I couldn't get a word in.
I made a complaint and got the following back:
"You quite clearly state in your email that your tenant is at fault for agreeing to something he didn’t 100% understand.
The company cannot be held liable for a miscommunication between you and your tenant."
If they acknowledge my tenant didn't understand me, then how on Earth can they imply he understands BoilerBreakdowns? My tenants are a Romanian couple that cannot speak good English.
So they thought the price was to fix the problem. They have children and all they wanted was running hot water that day but it never happened.
Their website is misleading and not transparent. They don't advertise their pricing anywhere on the website.
I don't understand what it means by "prices that don't cost the Earth" which is clearly stated on the BoilerBreakdowns website. I am extremely unhappy I have been misled.
Anyone who thinks it is not true, let me know and I will happily forward you the invoice as proof.
They followed up their email to sincerely apologize. But if the apology is sincere, then you have to prove it!
When I asked for a compromise but they refused. I kept telling them problem I have is the exorbitant pricing. I demand they address and clarify to me the meaning of "Prices that don't cost the Earth" but till this day, they still have not.
Anyone who thinks it is too astonishing to be true, let me know and I will happily forward you the invoice as proof (my tenant says he was there 6-7 minutes but I give him the benefit of doubt that says he was there for total 16 minutes as on the invoice).
So if you want to be hit with a nice bill of £144 for a 16 minute quotation/diagnosis and still no running hot water at the end off it like me, then boiler breakdowns are the company for you!

They have so far provided a prompt and efficient service when dealing with lack of hot water and installing a new shower at my property. The customer service has very good.

No STARS - they don’t deserve any!
This is a follow up review of my last one left 3 days ago & after 5 days for my tenants without heat & hot water...
So I had enough - told these cowboys not to visit the property. Fortunately my regular plumber was back and he could look at the boiler next morning, who arrived 19 min early and not several hours late like the Boiler Breakdown “pseudo-engineers”! The boiler was in full working order 20 minutes & £95 later!!!
Unbeknown to these cowboys, the repair (a little cleaning & topping up the expansion tank - he couldn’t tell if the pump was recently replaced without seeing the state of the “old” one) had been completed by someone else, they called me to say that the engineer who went there on Monday found live wires exposed and after checking with his colleague, who was working there the previous Friday and who of course denied leaving the boiler in an unsafe state, they pointed their finger at the tenants!!! How dare they!!??!! All this is to justify more money brunch charged every unsuccessful visit!!! At that point I had a quote for a replacement of another 3 parts and a second quotation for replacement of “my (quote) “$hitty” boiler!
What a bunch of con artists!
People, please beware - stay way away from this company, they pry on people and milk the unsuspected client!

Contacted them on Thursday, agreed an early visit to London property on Friday, but turned up only at 15:30 while tenants sat waiting since 9 am! Can’t fix, must dash across London for a new pump, but I have to authorise quotation £770 (part £372, labour £180, travel 😳😳£90 plus Vat) - I have no option as they promise to return with the new pump & fix the boiler - then the office calls tenant that they have a wrong part! Did they have an intention at 18:30 on Friday to get the pump and return to the property to fix the boiler....
On Monday no show until calls from my tenant and me, finally the plumber arrives 17:15!!!! and leaves at 18:30 not being able to get the boiler going! So a family of 4, incl. two small children have been left without heat or hot water for 5 days and we still have no guarantee that it will happen tomorrow.

We were having problems with the smell of gas, after calling SES on two different occasions they couldn’t find anything wrong.
I called Plumb London to have a service on my boiler, immediately the fault was detected
We discussed the pros & cons with Mo the engineer & decided to have a new combo boiler installed. As this happened on a Friday Mo was able to commit to carrying out the fitting on the following Tuesday.
Tuesday morning Mo & Steve arrived and worked all day until the work was completed around 9pm .
We are very happy with the service provided, the installation & removal of the old boiler plus pipes & tank, cleaned up after,
All the radiators were checked, we had a demonstration on the use of the timer etc.
We can highly recommend Mo & Steve on the efficiency in carrying out the fitting of our new combo boiler & the removal of the old boiler & the way the left everything tidy & clean. Excellent
