Devo dire che agli inizi Boo funzionava e faceva quello che prometteva. Ultimamente è cambiato. Ho fatto 3 test, iscrivendo lo stesso utente in periodi diversi per una durata di 3 settimane. Risultati: ZERO visualizzazioni del profilo in tutti e 3 i test, anche provando a interagire nella parte social. Ho iscritto lo stesso utente (annuncio, foto) a siti concorrenti, e di visualizzazioni ne ho avute a decine. E pensare che mesi fa su Boo di visualizzazioni se ne facevano parecchie, come è naturale che sia. Ora, se non paghi, il profilo resta nascosto. Fate vobis...

The app makes it impossible to unsubscribe, it is extremely frustrating. The user base is not local, a lot of the profiles look fake, have had a very negative experience with them.

Die KI hat mir das als weniger oberflächliche Alternative zu den üblichen Dating-Wisch-Apps empfohlen und habe es deshalb mal für paar Wochen im kostenfreien Modus ausprobiert.

Grundsätzliche Gedanken: Eine App kann noch so sehr versuchen hier Elemente wie Passung nach Persönlichkeitstypen (MBTI), mehr Möglichkeiten an Profiltext, einzuführen. Solange das Herzstück "Fotos -> Like, Dislike, Match" bleibt wird die Mehrheit der Nutzer sich nicht mal die weiteren Angaben im Profil durchlesen. Darauf sind nunmal schon sehr viele durch diverse Apps konditioniert. Der Mensch ist ein Gewohnheitstier und auf Optik fixiert. Zu glauben hier versammeln sich nur aufgrund der erweiterten Möglichkeiten die weniger oberflächlichen ist naiv. Leider sammeln viele Singles und Marktwerttester die Dating Apps wie Unterhosen im Regal, im Irrglauben das Angebot würde sich damit vervielfachen und am Ende werden sie wohl auch einige dort antreffen, die sie auch von anderen Apps kennen...eben weil sie das gleiche denken. Ich habe keine anderen Dating Apps installiert, aber bei manchen Boo-Profilen wo kein bis kaum ein Text steht, fragte ich mich dann schon, warum sie dann nicht gleich Tinder, Lovoo oder Bumble nutzen sondern eine App wählen wo Text erwünscht ist.

Das wollte ich nur vorgreifen, weil es somit generell die verschiensten Varianten an Dating Apps unnötig macht. Es läuft im Prinzip doch immer wieder aufs gleiche raus.

Und ebenso immer dasselbe: entweder man zahlt dann für Premium um sich damit sozusagen die "Freiheit" zu erkaufen Profile auch direkt kontaktieren zu können bzw. nicht irgendwo in einem großen Stapel von Likes unterzugehen oder man fühlt sich wie bei einer Parntervermittlung wo man sehr eingeschränkt handlungsfähig ist. Generell wie bei allen Dating Apps ist der Mechanismus dahinter sehr intransparent, schwer durchschaubar.

Ich kann verstehen wenn App-Betreiber damit Geld machen wollen, wer tut sich schon kostenlos die Arbeit für so ein Projekt an. Aber dann sollte man auch zumindestens ein paar wenige Tage kostenfrei Premium ausprobieren können sonst ist es wie die Katze im Sack zu kaufen. Vielleicht haben aber die App-Betreiber Angst das man plötzlich bemerkt, dass Premium auch nicht viel Zusatznutzen bringt. Ich hätte auch nichts gegen eine Werbevariante.

Für die vielen Möglichkeiten gebe ich zwei Sterne, aber dieses Herzchensystem (Like, Dislike, Match) macht das ganze im Grunde genommen nur zu einem aufgehübschten Tinder. Wäre besser gewesen hier ausschließlich ein klassisches System anzubieten indem man nur Nachrichten (ohne Herzchen und dieser ganze Schnickschnack) schicken kann und im kostenfreien Modus bekommt man weiterhin nur eine geringe Anzahl an Profilvorschlägen pro Tag. Das wäre tatsächlich eine Alternative gewesen, weil es wieder Texte mehr in den Vordergrund rückt.

Ho acquistato Boo infinity ma non ho notato nulla di particolarmente rilevante.

I subscribed to Boo for years specifically because of the country filter. It let me connect with people from other countries, which was the whole point for me. February 2025 they removed it overnight with zero notice, zero explanation, just gone.

I contacted support multiple times. Every reply was the same copy paste bot response, clearly written by nobody who read a word I sent. Over a year of that and still no real answer about why it was removed or whether it is ever coming back.

The thing that gets me is they are still charging subscribers for a product missing the one thing that made it worth paying for. That is not an accident. That is a choice they made.

If you are considering subscribing for the country filter, it has been gone since February 2025 and support will not tell you why. Know that before you pay.

J'ai remonté l'information et j'ai souhaité être indemnisé de cette mauvaise expérience.

Il demande des données de commande qu'ils n'adressent par mail automatique.

Pas de reçu de paiement
Pas de confirmation de commande abonnement.

Service client rapide mais tergiverse beaucoup.

If i could give minus i would while browsing the site ( boo infinty ) i was charged £5 on 15th june 2026 i didnt know till later then on the 18th june 2026 they took £170 straight away i tried to cancel but you have to do it on google play. So be careful cause it doesnt ssk for confirmation especialy if you use google play for other stuff

I am slightly above average attractive, in good shape, dressing appropriately and had many girlfriends in the past. I used this app for 2 months and didn't have a single match. Not a single! No wonder why people end up depressed or giving up completely. This is a total scam and this is not a reflection of reality. I am way more successful in real life by talking to random strangers in shop, train or street than this app. It's unbelievable. Absolutely waste of time and terrible experience.

Why can we not give negative reviews?
The proof that this app is a scam is that on app store it has 4.5 stars, lots of 5 star reviews written by fake accounts.
You create an account, then you get some people liking your profile, you need to pay premium to see who liked your profile - and surprise, surprise - you start talking to scammers behind fake accounts who are trying to find out personal information about you and then quickly ask you to message them on Telegram or Whatsapp -
I've asked this lady to send me a picture in the app - I sent her a picture of the street where I was on. I got back a no face selfie of some lady. I then asked her to send a picture the wall and hold three fingers up in the picture. Reply: "if you dont trust me, dont waste my time" - then she unmatched. So... next thing I know, I AM GETTING BANNED FOR SCAMMING!!!,
Either Boo is an app created by scammers and they are all in this, or scammers are using this app to target potential victims. ABSOLUTELY NO PROTECTION for users. This app should be banned and their creators should be put in jail for a very long time.

If I could give Boo dating app zero stars, I would.

My entire experience on this app consisted of exactly two interactions, and both followed the same predictable scam script:

* Generic small talk
* Quick attempt to move the conversation to WhatsApp
* Zero intention of actually using the app

I refused, stayed on-platform, and reported both accounts for scamming — exactly what any user is supposed to do.

And that’s when things went completely off the rails.

Scammers here don’t operate solo. They use multiple coordinated accounts. If you don’t fall for their nonsense, they flip the script and mass-report you instead. The result? I got banned. Not them — me. A paying premium user.

Let that sink in.

So effectively, the system works like this:

* Scammers run networks of accounts
* They bait users into moving off-platform
* If you resist, they retaliate with false reports
* Boo’s moderation blindly enforces bans without proper verification

And here’s the most ridiculous part:
You can’t even properly defend yourself.

Boo doesn’t allow you to submit screenshots of conversations as part of an appeal process. So even if you have clear proof, there is no real way to challenge the ban. You’re just out — no transparency, no accountability.

So what are you actually paying for?

* No protection from scams
* No fair review system
* No meaningful support

This isn’t just bad design — it’s a system that keeps legitimate users vulnerable while empowering coordinated scammers.

I didn’t get scammed.
I got banned for not getting scammed.

Avoid this app unless you enjoy paying to be part of a rigged system.

I wouldn't recommend that app. I've written to everyone my age and no one is responding. Plus, there are fake profiles that you just waste money on, so I don't recommend installing Boo.

Per me è il sistema swipe che è indice che l'app non funzionerà, indipendentemente dalla copertina che ci metti. Le app di questo tipo hanno tutto l'interesse a non mostrare il tuo profilo per non farti fare match e spingerti a comprare potenziamenti.

Boo su questo aspetto non è da meno, ma fa l'errore di fornirti i dati per supportare con i numeri la sua mancanza di serietà verso la sua promessa, mostrandoti il numero di visualizzazioni che ricevi.

Così ho deciso di buttarmi di proposito nella trappola, in modo da condividere a cosa si va incontro:
Ho preso un abbonamento e il pacchetto di boost; il primo boost mi ha fatto ricevere esattamente ZERO visualizzazioni (prima era 1, numero già sospetto di per sé, e al termine del boost è rimasto 1). Ho poi pensato che la componente social possa farti ottenere rank sull'algoritmo del profilo, ed effettivamente dopo qualche post acchiappa-like (tramonti e paesaggi), ho ricevuto qualche views, ma fuori dalla mia area di ricerca. Dopo due settimane e un intero pacchetto di boost, oggi che scrivo questa recensione, le mie visualizzazioni sono 40, quasi tutte da gente straniera che ha messo like ai miei post. Vivo a Napoli, decisamente non una piccola città, e le poche in zona Napoli che hanno visualizzato il profilo, hanno comunque messo qualche like, segno che il problema sono le visualizzazioni, non i like.

Per me la componente dating di questa app è insalvabile, o l'utenza è bassissima, o l'app ti seppellisce sul fondo del suo algoritmo, da cui non se ne esce neanche pagando. Ripeto, non è una questione di like, ma di VISUALIZZAZIONI.

Suggerimento costruttivo: rimuovete la componente social, è completamente inutile e anzi penalizza chi non vuole essere performativo; ma soprattutto garantite visualizzazioni minime, il boost non deve essere temporale, bensì garantire un numero minimo di views. Premesso che è controverso di per sé che l'app non ti garantisce views se non pagando.

Ironicamente, l'app che dice di tutelare la salute mentale degli introversi è quella che la danneggia di più.

Ragazzi spero che adiate a leggere prima le recensioni, non abbonatevi a questa app è inutile piena di scam che cercano di portare la conversazione fuori dal app poi ti bloccano cosi da non segnalare il profilo. Inoltre con l'abbonamento avrete poca roba in piu, per altri like devi spendere soldi ... Insomma! L'assistenza non esiste, app piena di problemi

I'm writing this review because i know i won't get anywhere trying to contact Boo directly. This isn't actually such a bad dating sight, if you are interested in connecting with people globally and not just locally. The price is very reasonable compared to other sites and the feature matching you (or not) with different personality types is an interesting and functional addition. The thing that is REALLY getting on my nerves is the HUNDREDS of fake, A.I. generated, female profiles :-(
They are pretty much ALWAYS Asian women with strange, lifeless eyes and there is always just one photo... Seriously, just STOP IT ok ??

L’app non funziona , dopo aver pagato l’abbonamento rimane in verifica profilo per cui non puoi fare nulla !. Una truffa

I would definitely not recommend Boo.

If you go to Boo.world and you provide your email address, you get a link to log in. This seems easy but they already have your email address before you know how it is inside.

Furthermore there are only few members, and half of them are fakes. I had had two matches on purpose with a person using AI generated pictures to see how fast I could unmask them. That was fun but was it enough fun for Boo to take 15,52 from my bank account unauthorised? Or at least sneaky - I did not realise I had - apparently - a monthly subscription after i wanted to try out the site.
