Friendly driver, got us there on time

Very informative before getting to me. Arrived on time, was very helpful, friendly and polite. Have used Evo every time we have stayed in a London hotel for our airport transfer and will carry on using them. Delighted with the service they provide THANK YOU

Easily one of the worst taxi experiences of my life. The pickup point they set to collect us was nowhere near where we were supposed to be. They were 15 minutes late because they decided to stop at a petrol station before picking us up. I had to call to tell him to come get us. Instead of picking us up at the designated area, he jammed his car lopsided into a small space in the drop off zone for departures. He held up traffic for 5 minutes and was told off by airport security for parking so absurdly but proceeded to ignore everyone and fiddle with his phone before finally departing. His driving was erratic and dangerous, almost colliding with other cars multiple times. When we finally arrived, he decided to ignore the set price and overcharge us (the set price was £23.10, he charged us £24.50) I didn't care, I wanted him gone so I paid him what he asked. I will gladly pay twice as much next time not to use this service.

Unbelievable, i made booking a pre-booking for a 13:00 pickup for my elderly mother hospital appointment @ St George's.

I had a phone call from the driver at 12:54 saying he had broken down and they would said another car in 15mins. They ended up coming at 14:06. Ive never experienced anything like it. Very upset by the way they treated us.

Arranged a taxi service for 5 people 3 days before travel, after the recommendation from the hotel we where staying at. On the day of our holiday they arrived 30 minutes late, with a standard size car. They then wanted to charge us full price for a 2nd car. Not reliable at all in my opinion. Stress that is not needed before a holiday. My concerns were raised with the hotel and it appears I am not the only one.

Booked a car for this morning on the app. The pick up time came and went. No driver allocated. No message on the app.
Absolutely rubbish service.
Booked Western Cars instead they arrived in 5 minutes! Have deleted the app. Don't waste your time! AVOID!!!

Terrible service when picking up from the airport. The AI assistant wouldn’t understand my home address - where they had picked me up in the morning! So I had to repeat a few times until I had enough and asked to speak to the controller.

They confirmed my pick up and suggested to call when outside the terminal so the driver could come into the pick up area. I did call and they had not allocated a driver yet! So I waited 17 minutes in the cold.

Never again.

Never again will I use this company. Booked a taxi on the app whilst on the plane waiting to disembark at Gatwick. Got a phone call whilst collecting bags 10 minutes before it was due to ask if we were ready and to wait outside, which we did. Have a look at the tracking they sent, no information given. Call them and they tell me that they are looking for a driver give them 10 minutes. Call back after 10 minutes to be told 3 minutes, 3 minutes, its round the corner. I’ve the next 20 minutes, more calls were put into the company as this 3 minutes was taking forever. We get a vehicle assigned to us. 5 minutes away, he was 5 minutes away for over 10 minutes. More calls made… 3 minutes, 3 minutes!! I call the driver and find out where they are please.
Turned out he was sat in another road and we had been told by the operator to wait outside side the main doors. Absolutely fuming…8 further calls had been made and even when the car was technically at the airport, they still couldn’t organise the meet up. On the app the price was £19. In the taxi he charged £20.50. Not a lot more but different all the same. Finally my last gripe, travelling around a bend and he hit the back wheel so hard against the curb the car moved and I almost crapped myself

Taxi from hotel to airport was early but no problem, friendly hence the 1 star, because I would happily give minus stars for last nights service

Turned up over 1hr 30 mins late when I said there service is a joke driver drove off booking was to take me to dialysis very poor service as I had already called ask where they are and was told they get me there 15mins late this is account job done on behalf of nhs

Truly terrible, booked cab on Friday for Sunday pickup to the station. No driver assigned 5 minutes after due time with no prospect of a driver. Missed my train truly useless

We booked this taxi service via the Stanhill Court Hotel, to Gatwick Airport. Both journeys to and from were on time with very friendly and polite drivers. Would definitely recommend and will use again

We booked an EVO Taxi to take us from our B&B to Gatwick Airport.reg number GM21 DMZ The Driver Vitor turned up on time but his standard of driving was awful travelling at 60mph in a 30mph Zone over taking everyone on the duel carriage way leading to the airport.we were stressed out before our holiday Not impressed with this guy at all

Booked an 8 seater from a Gatwick hotel to Gatwick airport. This was an early morning pick up & turned up on time. Booked the 8 seater on return journey 10 days later for a 9 pm arrival but when I phoned to tell EVO I had arrived back in to the country on time I was told the 8 seater wasn't available. EVO had my booking but no car. I was told my option was to have multiple smaller cars to take us & had to pay the multiple car rate was was multiples of what the 8 seater price was. I asked EVO to honour the original lower price but was told NO....This was my first & last time using EVO.

1*. REALLY Rude driver, pick up at Gatwick 11.30pm. Not being familiar with the airport AT ALL we couldn't find him, a combination of bearings and him not being easy to understand so this delayed the pick up by probably 3 minutes.
Found him and took us to destination. Fee was £17, I handed him £20 and he drove off, no offer of change whatsoever, I would not have tipped him because of his attitude and I'm seriously thinking of taking this to an official complaint... its a shame he didn't have the same attitude as the driver that took us to Gatwick, he was great. This guy should not be driving the public.

60% of the time (probably generous estimate) you’ll get a great friendly driver who arrives on time and a smooth journey.
40% they’ll be 20 min late for a pre-booked and accepted journey where there has been several hours or more planning time.
It’s like the driver is only assigned at the booked arrival time.
Possibly 20% cheaper than the rival but completely unreliable and one driver who was late and non communicative till he started being protective of his centre pedestal rear controls which were in little risk of damaging! Take pride in your car, but if it’s your pride and joy, it should not be a taxi!

Booked taxi days in advance.
Morning of pickup, I called and got told it hadn’t been assigned to the driver, then later it had been and then it hadn’t. Told operator the reason for taxi and after all the ‘we’re really busy’ routine and one would take a long time to arrive, just about to walk and one turned up. Just been assigned and this was an HOUR after my original booking time.
No relaxing time on journey as an hour had been taken from my plans.
Used before and no problem hence the 2 stars but probably won’t use again…

30 minutes late for a pick up. It’s not the drivers, it’s the booking allocation system. Avoid.

After failing to show up and still taking my money they still refuse to pay it back. It may only be £28 but that's not the point, you can't just take money and fail to provide a service.

Do not trust this disgusting company!

NEVER SHOWED UP AT THE AIRPORT!!! AVOID

Let me break down the chain of events:

We landed, A notification said a driver was on their way. We waited 45 mins. no sign of your driver. We called many times and then finally when we got through they said sorry but they didn't have a car to pick us up as we had a group of 5. Even though we already paid for it.

You then said they were sending 2 cars

car number 1 turns up. Its a 7 seater but the driver refused to take all of us so I had to wait for the second car. The driver then charges my wife as he said it was classed as a new booking.

meanwhile while i waited at the airport for another half hour my phone goes off with a link to a driver called umar who was just driving round and round the north terminal roundabout. I coundl't contact him because the link goes to a dead line

so yet again I call their number and the terrible automated service just cuts me off.

to top it off EVO still took my money.

awful company do not rely on them.
