Awful

I paid $30 for gift wrapping and a card and received the bottle in a cheap burlap sack. When I reached out they informed me that is how it is wrapped and didn't offer any suggestions on how to make it better. I would never have paid that much money for that and a generic card. I feel as if they were not professional with me when I reached out either. Will never use them again.

Terrible Customer Service - I Went Elsewhere

I’ve used BottleBuzz many times to send thank-you gifts—usually higher-end bottles like Blanton’s—to valued clients, and have spent a significant amount through their platform.

Recently I was trying to put together a custom gift bundle and had a couple of questions. When I called, I was told to email customer service. Unfortunately, after doing so, my message was essentially ignored and I never received meaningful assistance.

For a company that specializes in gifting, responsive support is important. Because I couldn’t get help, I ended up purchasing the $560 gift bundle from a competitor instead. Disappointing experience, and I’ll likely take my business elsewhere going forward.

Horrible service

Horrible service. Ordered before vday. Said it would be delivered. Arrived almost two weeks after and in separate deliveries. They hadn’t even made a shipping slip when I asked to cancel the order. They told me I would be charged a shipping fee and restocking fee when they hadn’t even pulled or shipped the items. Don’t give them your business.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. I ordered seven bottles of bourbon and they shorted me two bottles of the traveler whiskey. I contacted them and they said that they sent everything that I ordered. I even took a video of what was taken out of the box to show that there was only five bottles that would fit in the box that they sent with their mailing label and they refused to replace the two bottles missing. If you read through the reviews you will see a lot of people have the same thing happen to them. Also, I ordered these items on December 9th. Nothing received until January 19th. I had to call them and email them six times before they finally responded to what I was missing.

I ordered and paid for my purchase at Bottlebuzz and have not received shipping confirmation yet, it is now February 16. When I reached out to ask about my order they said I would receive an email confirmation once it is shipped. Not very happy.

I contacted Buffalo Trace distillery and they confirmed that they do NOT distribute to Bottle Buzz. Additionally, Bottle Buzz offers scarcely available bourbons, such as
Pappy Van Winkle and Blanton’s, in quantities of greater than a dozen. Come on. Further research showed they also don’t have a legitimate business address. Do your research. Don’t pay hundreds of dollars to purchase overpriced swill dressed as liquid gold.

!! DONT ORDER HERE !!

I ordered an expensive whiskey bottle with a personal message intended for a business partner. It later turned out that they shipped the wrong bottle and sent my order — including the personal message — to someone else. They refuse to fix their mistake. I’ve been trying to resolve this with them for six weeks now without success. This has been a very frustrating experience, and I will never order from here again.

Excited to get Boomtown in Chicago!

Good communication. Everything was explained in the instructions. Very exciting to be able to get this beer in Chicago. Well packaged. A few dents in the cans and I could tell the cans had been in a warehouse, hopefully not for long though. I understand that could have been on Boomtown. No matter, they cleaned up and the beer seems pretty fresh. Thanks!

If there was a negative rating option I would choose it. They sent the wrong, cheaper bottle (which seems to be a common occurrence if you look into their reviews, wish I had) and then asked me to have the recipient of the gift send it back at their expense for a refund. There was no apology, and no attempts to send the correct item.

DO NOT USE BOTTLE BUZZ. WOST SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN AS A CONSUMER. Delivered the wrong bottle after numerous weeks and when asked for a refund or the correct bottle shipped they turned down the request. Offered me a credit in store that was for $20. Initial order was $175. Does that make any remote sense? I ordered a 1.75L bottle of top shelf vodka as a gift to a superior and they sent three small bottles of pear flavored Absolut. Said don’t worry just have this senior executive who I was GIFTING something to fill out a return label find a box and ship it back. Why on earth would I ask someone to do that when this was a gift? Why is it their responsibility? Disaster of a customer service experience. There are so many online bottle delivery services don’t use them.
