Don't be a fool like me- read trust pilot review before buying

Foolishly I thought ,as this was UK based, products would be of good quality and service. Item ordered came from China , was cheap and not fit for purpose. It cost me alot to return and now its stuck in China's customs 'awaiting payment from recipient'.Emmas boutique are not responding to my emails now. Obviously no refund. Do not use this company unless you have money and time to waste.

If I could give them 0/5 stars then I would.
This is a drop shipping business with a Duch owner and a Chinese product with foreign customer care team based likely in China or India.
Just like the company using “Manchester” in their name suggesting that they’re based in Manchester, the customer service team gives themselves Anglo-Saxon names to misrepresent their origin. It’s a cheap tactic to create a more trusting attitude and it’s used by every scammer in the world.
I purchased trousers that looked nothing like the pictured ones and were supposed to be entirely linen, instead, I received the ugliest trousers I’ve ever seen made only 10% of linen.
After weeks of battle over emails, I managed to get back majority of my money but not all whilst I was clearly missold.
They have also changed their return policy on their website when I pointed out that they ought to refund me all the money and cover the postal costs.
Luckily I saved all pictures and emails and will be filing a report to the Trading Standards.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!

I am in battle with this company who…

I am in battle with this company who are not what they purport to be. I ordered a suit thinking I was ordering from Manchester and after a long delay the item arrived. I cannot tell you how disgusted I am firstly with the item which is nothing like described and secondly with the manner in which my complaint is being dealt. They are untruthful and demeaning in their dealings. I now have an item which I don't intend keeping and I don't intend to pay to return these shoddy goods. I will be taking my complaint up with Trading Standards tomorrow and posting my story on other social media sites.

Bad company…

Awful company stay well clear cheap Chinese copies of product they are advertising, absolute crap,nothing but a con costs a fortune to send back to china , this company is just one of many now conning us ,do your research and I repeat,stay well clear

Nothing Manchester about this company

Items come from China, not Manchester. Nothing local about this company. Items are cheap and fabric is awful. Returns are paid for by consumer and you need to pay for international shipping. Do not go near this company, it’s a awful rip off x

Not worth 1 Star!

I wouldn’t even give this company 1 star if I could select 0!
Total scam. Been waiting 6 weeks for my product and keep getting fobbed off by their so called customer services who just tell you to wait! For all I know they have never been sent. Thought I was supporting local but clearly not! £55 wasted. ABSOLUTE SCAM

Total and utter garbage

Total and utter garbage, please please don't waste your money and time.
£30 sandals are so crap quality and uncomfortable I've given them to the dogs to chew and even they spat them out.
This is Chinese garbage made to look like they are from UK

The saga continues linen oh no..

The saga continues
Over 20 emails have been exchanged so far, the miss sold linen clothes that are actually polyester cotton and cotton continues, the firm will not accept liability for the postage of items that are not as described on the site, I've tried to explain as the items are not as advertised they are liable for the return postage, they don't or won't acknowledge the miss sold items and as such will not refund me the full cost. They've offered 10%, then 20%, then 30%, then 40% and now 50% with me keeping the clothes items , I don't want due to them not being linen as advertised, the labels in the clothes state polyester cotton and cotton, I have no use for these items as they aren't what I want and as such don't see why I should stand a loss of 50% whilst keeping items I can only us as cleaning rags.
I've quoted there returns policy back to them and they still won't acknowledge the miss selling of goods that are made of inferior materials. A company that has no regard for consumer rights n far trading practices.
I recommend you avoid dealing with this company..
They just sell poor clothes that are not as described in there miss leading advertising..

Do not buy from this website

The quality of the products received was awful. Wrong colour, awful stitching, did not match the picture. Very hard to know where they were based on website as it says you need to cover return cost next to a London address. Turns out the Wearhouse is in China. I had weeks of back and forth in emails trying to get a refund which they said they did not offer and tried to give me store credit. I eventually had to quote buyers rights to refund and they did eventually refund me but it was so worrying to think I'd spend over £100 for the worst quality dress I have ever bought!

Absolutely a disgraceful company got…

Absolutely a disgraceful company got shoes cost 29.99 quality was worst ever seen also incorrect size and couler. Complained to customer service and was told would give me only 10% refund or I could return to China at my own cost ! Please do not be taken in by this company it is a scam .

Scam scam scam scam

Scam scam scam scam The founder is not a real person. Beware. They took the photograph off a completely different website under the name ' Phoebe'. This is serious. Wish I had known. Received the order, after a weeks after ordering it. Quality is so poor, it made me feel so angry. This is what is contributing to the poor health of the environment. Sad,angry & disappointed. Shame on them.

I’m extremely disappointed Misleading Sizing, Poor Returns Policy, and Unhelpful Customer Servicewith my…

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. The item I received was not as described—I ordered my usual size (L), but what arrived fits more like an XL. There was no accurate size chart on the website, and the advice to “size up” is completely misleading.

To make matters worse, the company refuses to take responsibility. They expect customers to pay international return shipping to China, even when the product is clearly misrepresented. This is unacceptable, especially under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Their “solutions” were either a small partial refund or a replacement of the same flawed product. I was even willing to return the item to a UK address, but they declined.

Overall, I found the entire process frustrating and stressful. I would not recommend buying from this company, especially if you value accurate sizing, transparency, or a fair return policy.

Do not trade with these people it's a scam

What a rip off, poor quality goods, not fit for purpose, no mention at all about the goods coming from China a very clever use of company name makes you think that they are in the UK. Extremely poor quality goods, nothing like the advert, horrendous fit, do not use this company at any cost. They have offered a 10% refund and keep the goods but to be honest they are that crap that I would struggle to give them to a charity shop, the only use I would have for them is to use them as a rag for painting. They do offer a refund at my expense of sending the goods back to China via there UK warehouse so 2 lots of postage to be made. I'd rather someone steal cash from my wallet than offer crap clothing with isn't fit for purpose. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Misleading website and poor quality

The website is misleading as there is no mention you are dealing with a company in China.

I am very disappointed with the items I ordered. The overall quality is poor, definitely not worth the price and the fit is wrong too.

I am sending these items back at my own cost.

Is this company real?

I have not received my dress yet and when I followed the tracking process; 'page cannot be found' worries me. Only three reviews, again yikes! I agree that website is very misleading. I am concerned and hope that Lucy Brown is real and that I have not been scammed.
