So well organised!
2nd time with Boys Trip, this one was State of Origin game 2 in Melbourne. Very well organised, easy transfers and the hotel was in a great location. The app with all the information on made everything so simple and we had awesome tickets for the game!

It was a very well organized trip with know issues made easy with the trip plan app to go buy with any queries available on the app .
Something that would make the experience just a bit more memorable would be a gift pack with a boy trip tee poncho sun block bottle opener along wiht the hat and stubby holder.

Thanks Deane, that's good feedback to receive regarding the app and also the merchandise. We just went with the complimentary hat and stubby holder this year, but will keep in mind those other merch suggestions, as we're always looking at mixing up our offerings on our trips. Cheers!
Everything was perfect
Everything was perfect , no delays , our room was even ready at 9am on Friday morning. Accommodation was really nice, close to train station with 3 stops to the stadium.
The meet and greet on the Sunday before the game was awesome, right across the road from the ground. Mark tookey was brilliant, as was the Mt Smart joker. Then Perfect timing to then join the march to the stadium . See you again next year.
Thank you 🍻

Thanks for that Nigel, we really appreciate that feedback. Great that you enjoyed your Boys Trip 2026 NRL Magic Round Package. We really love that Sunday Pre-Game Function and it's getting bigger each year, agree that Mark Tookey and the Mt Smart Joker are both brilliant. We'd love to have you back again next year. Cheers!

Boys trip guys are good at effective and expedient communication… this is a great asst that they respond quickly to any anomalies or concerns such as my ticketing experience mistake which was quickly rectified by David
The hotel was good and travel ok … I would suggest in future if the hotel has a breakfast option that this be included in the room pricing rather than self choice option
Great guys and the association with radio Hauraki excellent
Perhaps as a solo traveller some research into who might be part of the group might be worth some consideration but I appreciate that this difficult with a meeting beforehand with guests travelling from all other to join the trp

Thanks Ian, great to have you on board your first Boys Trip experience and good to hear you enjoyed it. Yes, we love our partnership with the team at Radio Hauraki.
Regarding hotel breakfasts, we do include daily breakfasts on some of our trips, but not for Magic Round, only because we use two different hotels for that trip and FV Peppers Brisbane doesn't have an onsite restaurant, so can't offer breakfasts there. So we find it easier to not include it, as it would mean some clients would be getting breakfasts and others wouldn't.
Regarding a pre-trip meet up, unfortunately, it's just not logistically possible sorry. This is one of the reasons we always offer a function/meet up on the first night of the trip.
If you're looking for a trip that does include more group activities, we would suggest our NRL Grand Final Tour, where there is a Friday function, Saturday at the races, Sunday function and then the game.
Thanks again for booking with us and for submitting that feedback, it's much appreciated.

Magic Round 2026
This was my first time going on a sports package tour. I chose Boys Trip because they catered for everything – game day tickets, flights, accommodation, airport transfers and travel insurance. It’s a relief being able to outsource logistics to someone else (especially if you are the one who always does the heavy lifting). Boys Trip were exceptional! The communication was excellent – it felt like I could ask David and his staff anything. For example, I was very specific as to where I wanted to sit at Suncorp (our seats were great), and talking through the accommodation options helped me decide where to stay. My brother and I enjoyed meeting and chatting with Dave in person and we can’t thank Boys Trip enough for such a memorable trip!

Oh wow, that's such a nice review, thank you Fiona. We always want to take the time pre-trip to ensure our clients are booking exactly what they want and answer any questions they have. As you would have seen on our 2026 NRL Magic Round Tour, our clients are a great bunch, so we want to ensure that we take care of all the logistics for their trip, so they can just enjoy it. It was lovely meeting you and your brother and thanks again for such nice feedback. Until next time, all the best!
