Bravo Store Systems: helping independent retailers work smarter, sell faster, and stay audit-ready—every day. Since 1988, Bravo has built software that helps pawnbrokers, firearm dealers, and specialty retailers run stronger, more profitable stores. Our connected platform brings point-of-sale, eCommerce, mobile apps, and compliance tools together so every transaction—loan, sale, or renewal—flows seamlessly online + in-store. Why we exist: Small businesses deserve enterprise-class software built for their reality: lean teams, tight margins, and high regulatory stakes. Bravo was founded by pawnbrokers who wanted smarter tech, not more busywork. What our customers experience: 1. Simpler workdays: Tasks surface automatically—no more chasing reports. 2. Consistent pricing: Predictive pricing tools keep every offer on policy and on margin. 3. Audit confidence: 4473s validated at entry, A&D bound books always current, and audit exports in clicks. 4. Anywhere access: Mobile apps for employees and customers keep stores connected, even off the counter. 5. Real ROI: Faster tickets, fewer errors, and hours back every week. Today, thousands of stores use Bravo to process millions of transactions safely, accurately, and confidently—because when your software does the hard part, your team can focus on what matters most: customers.

Any other Canadian Pawnshops dealing with Bravo Issues?
We recently switched to Bravo after using PawnMaster for over four years, and the experience has been extremely disappointing—especially as a Canadian business.
We made this decision based on repeated assurances that Bravo would be a major upgrade. In reality, the system feels like it was designed strictly for U.S. operations, with little regard for Canadian requirements. Basic fields still use U.S. terms like “ZIP code” and “State,” and more critically, the system only allows U.S. ID types. There is no option to add or customize Canadian identification. This creates a serious compliance problem, law enforcement expects precise ID classifications—not approximations.
Performance is another major issue. Every transaction takes 15–20 seconds (or more) to process, with constant loading delays that slow down our entire workflow. In a retail environment, this is simply not workable.
On top of that, the system is not intuitive. Information that was instantly accessible in PawnMaster—such as notes and storage locations—is now buried behind multiple steps. Routine tasks take longer, require more clicks, and make daily operations unnecessarily frustrating.
The most concerning part, however, is the contract. We are locked into a one-year agreement, and the only way out is to pay the full contract amount—even though the product we were sold does not meet the expectations that were clearly set during onboarding. Being held to a full-term contract under these circumstances feels unfair and one-sided, especially given the lack of support for Canadian compliance needs and the performance issues we’ve encountered.
We strongly urge Bravo to address these shortcomings and reconsider how they handle contracts when the product delivered does not align with what was promised. As it stands, this has been a very frustrating and costly transition for our business.
I want pawnmasters back
Would not recommend. Only ever used bravo and pawnmasters. Been on bravo for a little over a month now. Almost anything you do on bravo seems to require multiple unnecessary extra steps. To make things even more time consuming, there is anywhere from 5 to 45 seconds of the spinning circle you have to wait for in between almost every step. Adding and viewing notes, especially for a specific pawn, will add multiple minutes to your already slow transaction. Throw logic out the window when attempting to teach yourself how to do or find something. It’s regularly not gonna be what/where you would think. You likely won’t get much relevant training on the program. Any and all history of pulled pawns, except for firearms, will be disappeared. You can always talk to someone knowledgeable from the sales team easily and almost immediately. This is very much not the case with technical support. They often seem new or poorly trained. By the way, if you have a problem, or need help navigating this trash system and you need more than ten minutes of their time, it’s gonna cost you. I feel like the designer of this system either never actually worked at a pawn shop, or hates pawnshops. Many other issues as well, but not trying to write a book.
Data integration from QuickBooks was…
Data integration from QuickBooks was pretty nonexistent and the data that they did manage to crossover was at least 30-50% incorrect. That's a big deal for a 14 year old retail company trying to switch over. Most of the features that they advertised during the sales demo does and may not ever work.
Great POS
We have been loyal Bravo Customers since 2016. Throughout our almost decade of business with Bravo, our company has seen incredible growth in both sales and our loans. We went from a loan balance of under 200k to 425k. The mobile pawn app had transformed our business. We capture about 65% of our pawn service charges with the mobile pawn app. This frees up our SLAs to focus on writing more loans, and making more sales, rather than taking payments. The E4473 and cloud storage is incredible for compliance and saving real estate in our store. I love being able to send a 4473 almost instantly to the ATF if they request a trace. These innovations have had a huge impact on our business. I look forward to seeing what else Bravo creates for their customers.
Our Pawn shop in Florida
Our Pawn shop in Florida, Vero Beach was closed today due to Bravo messing up our Pawn program during the switch from our old Pawn Program, which was fabulous but was bought by Bravo. At this point I would not recommend Bravo for anything. We spent all day trying to get in touch with someone, but it wasn't until around 2:00 this afternoon that someone finally contacted us. I understand the time difference, but the automated message comes on about Bravo being closed today Tuesday December 2nd. Useless company that sucks money without delivering anything in return!
Bravo Increases Profits & Streamlines Operations
We joined the Bravo family with our three family owned pawnshops in June of 2016. Bravo was still very young back then, but very impressive. They offer a cloud based enterprise system that handles the day to day needs of pawnshops, small or large. We quickly found that the software freed us up to do what we loved to do which was pawnbroker. We spent less time with mundane, tedious tasks and more time with our customers. Over the years Bravo has continued to impress us with their growth and development. Not only is this a complete POS system for sales, loans, buys, and trades, but we now enjoy their incredible E4473 program. This has greatly reduced errors on our forms and streamlined ATF audits. Bravo's Mobile Pawn feature has been a game changer in terms of extensions and renewals. Customers no longer have to come in because they have all of their transactions at their fingertips and can quickly & easily pay online. We have increased our online sales with Bravo's Buya.com and Usedguns.com plus our own personal web store that has all of our inventory instantly uploaded as it comes out for sale. The eBay integration feature is wonderful! No longer do we worry about selling on eBay & forgetting to sell it out in our store. Plus, if we sell an item that is listed on eBay in-store, it automatically ends the eBay listing. There are so many features that Bravo has that have made life easier and streamlined operations to allow us more time to tend to our business and increase profits (Protection Plans, Physical Inventory Features, Testing/SMS messages for reminders & advertising, Rewards Points system, Online E4473 storage, Online sales features, Mobile Pawn for customers, Shopkeeper for employees, just to name a few). I can't possibly list them all here, but I can say without a doubt that Bravo has an incredible platform and you won't be disappointed.

Excellent Support Team! Professional, and easy to work with!
I had the opportunity to work with the Bravo Store Systems support team recently, and wanted to share my thoughts with the public. I am in the IT field as an MSP Technician and often have to call into support teams for varying applications. This time, with Ian from Bravo Store Systems, I had a wonderful experience. From the time I contacted their support team via a web ticket, I received a call back within the hour and linked up with Ian. He was professional, well-spoken, and very patient! He was able to walk me through the setup of their application and all the little things that I would never have known. He stayed positive and energetic throughout our entire call, and never got rattled when the installation gave us some issues. I contribute Ian's success to his greater support team and leaders. They run a well-oiled machine there and seem to love what they do. I appreciate their excellent support and have not had this level of care and concern from a support team for quite a while. Thank you, Bravo Store Systems!

If I Could Give Double Stars
If I Could Give Double Stars, I Would!
We started our pawn business back in 1995 — everything was paper tickets back then! When DOS systems came around, we took the leap and joined PawnMaster. My uncles were a little old-school and hesitant at first, but PawnMaster’s team made the transition easy and supported us every step of the way.
As tech evolved, so did PawnMaster. Around 2010–2012, we upgraded again and added their texting feature and QuickBooks integration — huge game changers for communication and bookkeeping.
What I’ve always appreciated most is that PawnMaster never stood still. With tech, if a company isn’t evolving and improving, you’ll eventually outgrow them — but PawnMaster always stayed ahead of the curve. They’ve consistently had their finger on the pulse of the market, their users, and the technology that keeps pawnshops running smoothly.
Now, as PawnMaster begins to sunset, Bravo — who’s been a strong player in the industry — has stepped in with full transparency. They’ve done everything possible to make this transition easy and to show that they’re committed to being a lifelong business partner. That kind of honesty and support means a lot after nearly 30 years of loyalty.
If I could give double stars, I absolutely would. PawnMaster (and now Bravo) have earned my trust every step of the way.

One star because zero stars aren't…
One star because zero stars aren't allowed. I bought Pawn Master and used it for years. It was a great product. Then these clowns came along and bought it and forced us to move over to Bravo. I can't tell you in just a few paragraphs how bad it is. Every transaction takes 3 times as long as it should and most of what it is prompting you to do is useless. I tried to use it and could see quickly that it would be a detriment to my business. The only thing worse than the program is the service. The technicians were lost when they ever did get back to us. Several issues were never fixed and the technicians said many, many users were complaining about the same shortcomings of this subpar joke of a program. On top of that they are unwilling to refund any money made in deposit or release you from a year long contract that you will have to sign to keep your business going when they turn Pawn Master off. Pawn Master owners(we did buy it fair and square so we own it) should get together in a class action lawsuit due to our mistreatment. Don't even think about wasting your time and money on this unprofessional, poorly thought out hack of a program.....
Bravo Systems? Nothing to applaud about.
Wow, I thought I was the only customer experiencing issues with BuyA blocking me from purchasing at random. But I’m not from the looks of the review below. They flagged my account for buying too much in a short period of time (they labeled it fraudulent) even though they have zero evidence. 70+ transactions over a 6 month period with no issues and now I get flagged.
Guys, I’m buying video games.
They are losing pawn shops money on legitimate transactions.
Their machine learning/fraud team must be a room full of morons. If you are a pawn shop looking for an all in one solution—this isn’t it.
Flagging transactions without any reason
I buy something almost every single day from Buya. At some point, out of the blue, Bravo started flagging my purchases for the address not matching my card. So I literally went out and got a whole new card to use with my shipping address, and I make sure the address matches every time I purchase. Roughly 60% of the time there are no problems, and the other 40% of the time my purchase still gets flagged by Bravo so that the retailer cancels it. It is totally random. Sometimes they say my address is fraudulent, even though it's a residential address that I live at. Other times they say the address doesn't match the card even though it matches the card. Sometimes I'll buy from a retailer with a particular card/address combination one day, without problems, then a few days later the same card/address is blocked with the same retailer for a different transaction. It's like some moron at Bravo decided that if they just randomly flag 40% of all transactions that their fraud will decrease by 40%, and thought that was a win. This is sort of an insult to me because I am one of the more frequent purchasers on their stupid platform, and these problems just seem totally arbitrary. They always cite problems with the address or the card where there are none. Since they are just blocking me without respect to ANY factor of the purchase, and can't even answer their phones to explain what is happening, I have to leave them a bad review here. They are causing me problems and costing their retailers money. Their retailers probably think they are protecting them from fraudulent transactions, when in fact all they do is block legitimate transactions at a totally random rate. Very shady.
Unresponsive to issues
Buya.com is part of Bravo Store Systems.
I made an offer on an item from "Pawn 1 Hillyard" on the buya.com platform and it was accepted. I then paid for the item online at the agreed upon price. Then without any communication from "Pawn 1 Hillyard" the purchase was cancelled.
I emailed the shop, but have received no response. I then made another identical offer, as I read online that sometimes purchases are automatically cancelled if the billing and shipping address do not match (fraud prevention).
My second offer was rejected, and the item is still for sale.
I cannot seem to leave a review about this purchase as it was cancelled. If they accepted the offer by mistake, I would like them to admit that, and be given the opportunity to leave a review about their mistake so that other buyers are warned.
It was not "out of stock" because the item is still for sale. The Buya website says there is a 100 percent customer satisfaction guarantee, but this experience is not meeting that.
I have ordered through Buya before and found some good deals, but when I emailed Buya (email found in FAQ on their website) last week about this issue, there has been no response from them after 7 days.
Buya.com is run by Bravo Systems. Their phone number is 888.407.6287
I called Bravo systems, and the representative was not aware of what Buya.com was. She asked a supervisor about it, and the supervisor confirmed that buya.com was a part of Bravo systems. She then said she would take a message and have someone call me back, and she gave me a number for Bravo sales, which was 725.888.4070
When I tried calling sales the number was blocked or not working.
In summary, it seems buya.com is basically unresponsive to all issues, and the pawn shops are a mixed bag. You may be able to find a good pawn shop through buya, but in my experience no one at buya.com will be stepping in to help if there is an issue.
Great decision
We switched over from another pawn system and it has been smooth the whole way. Productivity has increased along with our profits. Thank you bravo!

Bravo is the whole package
Bravo is the whole package, even with the base level package. The one thing that I really like is when doing a pawn/buying something from a customer, it gives me the average pawning, buying, and selling price of the item. This really helps me and often I show it to the customer so they know what items are selling for. It is easy to use and I recommend it.

Revolutionary Pawn Software
In my 10 years of running my family pawnshop business, Bravo Pawn Software, has been the most revolutionary change I have yet to see. Bravo's system is exactly what we needed to operate more efficiently. The usability of Bravo for my staff is great, along with the integrations made with e-comm, credit card readers, and MobilePawn. The updates they create keep us relevant in a world that is constantly changing.
