Paid for my free samples and selected what I thought was the best match.

When received full delivery, realised that on a larger scale, the colour, aesthetic etc. was not what I was looking for.

Tried to arrange return. Was told this was something I had to arrange myself. Quotes for redelivery were almost 100% of original price.

BrickSlips were not interested. I asked them for an extension of the return period so I could return myself but they refused. After advising them that I’d contacted trading standards (they had/have an illegal term in their Ts+Cs - restocking fees and seem to be unaware of their obligations under consumer trading law) I later found an email in my junk from another domain, offering extra time to return.

By this time I had already disposed of them via my installer for a significant discount so asked for my delivery fee to be returned. They refused. My talks with trading standards are still ongoing

Hi, I have received the samples ordered and thank you, however I very disappointed that the two I ordered appear to be smaller than a standard size brick of what you call VICTORIAN RED and OLD COLLIERY RED I would expect to be somewhere nearer the imperial size of that style of brick not a metric size which is approximately 20mm shorter in length and 6mm shallower in height, I am hoping to brick clad a concrete block wall opposite our red brick 1930’s house and to be quite honest metric size brick slips will look totally wrong, the finish and colour are a close enough match buts it’s the size just doesn’t look right.

Extremely poor customer service. Delivered order incomplete and had to chase to get this addressed. I would not purchase from this company in the future.

had to use this company two times the second time only because i had to match the original bricks. this company tell you anything on the phone then dont deliver you are promised call backs which never happen you email there customer service they dont reply absolute joke. some of the bricks were damaged but thought it wasnt even worth complaining as nothing would be done or if it did it would take another 10/14 WORKING DAYS NO WEEKENDS OR BANK HOLIDAYS and believe me it will be the very last day you get them why a company cant give you a day as to when bricks will be ready is beyond me. would rather make my own than use these again and by the way they dont like it if your annoyed with them.

Brickslips ltd charged me £60 delivery charge to deliver within England 10 boxes of tiles. However they would only guarantee delivery by the kerbside, not to my apartment (1st floor). Brickslips ltd however agreed the delivery man would call me 1 hr prior to delivery so i could leave work and go home to move the boxes myself. On delivery day, the delivery man failed to call. He said he was never instructed to call in advance of delivery. Brickslips ltd stated instead that he tried to call me many times but i didn't answer. When i sent my phone records to Brickslips ltd to back my claims with hard evidence, they stopped talking to me.
Also, 20% of their tiles arrived broken.
Overall, awful experience for me and i can't rely on them for my next tile supply requirements.
