A great platform to get people knowledgeable and invested in the Australian property market, one brick at a time.
What a great way to get a foot in the door of the property market! As a lot of others experience, Sydney is almost an impossible market to get into. BrickX has given me an opportunity to invest immediately. I've seen great returns already and will use this platform to build my investment in preparation for a deposit. Big thumbs up for me. I've really enjoyed my experience with BRICKX so far. I have invested in 3 properties across NSW and VIC and have found the website really easy to navigate and packed with all the helpful information you could need when deciding where to invest and understanding how the platform works.
The communication from the company about new properties, changes to things and information on my monthly payouts have been great.
I would definitely recommend and look forward to investing more!

I think this is a great platform providing a real alternative to traditional property investing and i've recommended it to others. I've invested and entrusted plenty of my own money into it so no real qualms from me.
I love the liquidity of your product. I love that everyone has access to your product. You are very informative about processes, legalities,performance and the bigger picture within the market. Like that you do not restrict buying to one state. people enjoy your webinars. Like that I do not have to deal with the day to day running of managing an investment property.
Question: Can a buyer of your product claim negative gearing and expenditure on plant; kitchen white goods etc?

I feel many of the properties are overpriced and not enough properties in the $500K-$$800K range.. Diversity in properties is rather poor, need more 3 bedroom stand alone houses in my opinion and in other capital cities and regional areas.
Recent valuations show little growth and I feel that perhaps BrickX came to market 2 years too late...
The investment proposition it started with now seems to be leaning towards the ebay style bidding war for me. When this occurs it is worth considering if there are better alternate investments
I found the process interesting g and very simple, I believe the concept is brilliant
I've invested in several BrickX properties over the past 6 months. It allows me to tap directly into the capital growth of the Aus home market without a large capital outlay, or the complexities of other schemes. I love being able to evaluate each property individually, and the transparency and simplicity of the platform. So far the returns have been good as well.
I have really enjoyed my experience with Brickx. I invested part of my home deposit bit by bit until I was upto $17K. There were times where I needed to contact the service team because I was unsure or unable to find the information I needed alone and they were always very prompt in returning my messages and clearing things up. My return overall sat around about the 3-4%. In saying that, we found a house sooner than expected and I have had to put all my bricks on the market! I am very confident that over time they would have continued to increase in value. I managed to sell 12K worth of bricks back onto the marketplace for a small profit after fees in only 19 days. The only reason that I did not give 5 stars is because of the time it takes to re-sell bricks, and this cannot be done instantly if you desperately need the money. I would recommend investing, but also recommend keeping yourself a little cushion aside should you need to withdraw your funds. Bear in mind that there is no set time so sell the bricks and it does take around 3 business days for sold proceeds from sold bricks to appear in your bank account after transferring. In my experience the best way to buy the bricks when they are first listed in within the first 2 minutes of the property being launched! This way I found there was almost an instant increase in the value of the bricks that covered the processing costs. Overall, really recommend as a mid-term investment opportunity. Start small and make your own judgements rather than being scared off by other people's reviews and opinions. Many are just that and that may not have even invested with them personally!
I have found BrickX to be a very transparent company. They give you all the facts to make an informed investment choice with the properties they have to offer. As a millennial eager to enter the property market, BrickX enabled this by not needing to have a large amount of capital. I have already started to reap the rewards after only 10months of using the system, An average capital gain of 10% across the bricks I have purchased. This is better the CPI, better then a savings account.
I have to also applaud the customer service team. They have always responded to my emails or facebook messages within 24hours.
My only criticism is the rapid launching of projects some week ago. This had an impact on the value of the other properties on the platform. Sometimes pausing and waiting for the platform to settle down between property launches would be better.
