Really enjoyed the course, gave me lots of useful tools to improve my lessons. Dont underestimate it’s hard work and takes up a lot of time but the reward is you will deliver high quality client led lessons. Highly recommend this to anyone who really wants to develop in depth coaching skills

I recently completed my diploma with Bright Coaching and it’s completely changed the way I approach my lessons.

I’ve taken away so many practical ideas that I’m already using with my learners, and I can genuinely see the difference it’s making.

If you’re an instructor who wants to improve, challenge yourself, and actually enjoy the learning process along the way, I couldn’t recommend Bright Coaching enough.

WOW what a course! After qualifying as an ADI in 2023 I soon realised it was myself doing most of the talking in lessons and far too much 'telling'
After looking into the Bright Coaching diploma and its content around coaching I knew I had found the missing link, the link that would bridge the gap to get my pupils way more involved and taking more responsibility for their own learning, delving deeper into pupils thoughts, feelings and beliefs, truly finding out route causes for their behaviours. It's been a real eye opener and I've found the content and each module fascinating. My lessons are so much more engaging, insightful and fun. The diploma has also helped so many other aspects of my life too, I'm not the finished article and I'm not sure you ever are, I'm a work in progress .... just like my learners.
The diploma providers really do care how your getting on, offer support and practical advice and guidance every step of the way.
If your thinking of doing this diploma, don't hesitate, just go for it!

Really enjoyed this course. A great team of tutors and a fascinating course that has helped me develop immensely as driving instructor and a human being. The behvaiour change module was particularly eye opening and has encouraged me to use different methods when helping learners acquire safe driving skills and habits. Highly recommend this course and experience. Money and time well invested.

I really enjoyed the Bright Coaching course, even though I started it with some doubts about whether I was capable of completing it. The content was genuinely great – relevant, thought-provoking, and clearly designed to be applied in the real world, not just theory for theory’s sake. Delivery was a real strength too, with good variation throughout that kept things engaging and helped different ideas land in different ways. Overall, it was a challenging but rewarding experience that boosted both my confidence and my skills.

I realised this course was the missing piece of the puzzle. After qualifying in 2021, I found my ability to help learner drivers was limited. It was a complete eye-opener, showing me how much I didn’t know. I am very pleased to have completed it and can now say that I am qualified as a coach. Hearing directly from my learner drivers and how it has helped them, as well as in their workplaces, has been incredibly rewarding. I would highly recommend it to all A.D.I.s.

I recently completed the SCQF Level 7 Professional Diploma in Behavioural Change for Safe Driving, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The classes were engaging, informative, and easy to follow.
I particularly enjoyed Module 4, as this was the main reason I decided to enrol in the diploma. It gave me a much deeper understanding of behavioural change, and I now feel far more confident in supporting and understanding my learners.
The course has had a positive impact on both my professional knowledge and practical approach.

My experience of the ‘Bright Coaching professional diploma in coaching and behavioural change for safe driving’ was challenging but overall a positive experience.

It is a commitment. You have to be willing to immerse yourself in each assignment, and I had to leave my comfort zone.
I have a BTEC 4 in coaching for driver development and thought this course may be similar but it has provided me with many new skills and techniques for my teaching toolbox.

I was part of Cohort 1 and had a great bunch of colleagues that really helped me through the experience. There were a few teething issues as it was a new course but overall the trainers did a good job.

I really respect Stewart for putting himself out there and creating this course and would recommend it.

I want to share my heartfelt experience with Mr. Stewart and Andy during my Part 3 test preparation. From the very beginning, their kindness, professionalism, and unwavering support made a world of difference. The value I received from their guidance was truly priceless.

I started by enrolling in their Part 3 quick marking sheet course, which provided a detailed and clear explanation of the 17 competencies. Thanks to their teaching, I gained a full and confident understanding of these essential concepts, which set the stage for my preparation.

Then I had the pleasure of working with Andy for a mock test. He created an authentic exam atmosphere, delivering honest, detailed feedback that reflected the true test experience. Following that, we had another session where he helped me correct my mistakes with clear, precise, and high-quality guidance. His feedback was transformative, giving me the confidence and tools to refine my performance.

Thanks to their exceptional support, I was able to pass my Part 3 with a strong score and a performance I am genuinely proud of. Their encouragement and expertise have inspired me to continue developing and growing further under their mentorship.

If you want to develop your coaching skills and try something innovative and different in a supportive environment with like minded individuals, this is most definitely the course to choose. I picked Bright Coaching because they really want you to succeed, the course is flexible around your own needs and the support they offer as you progress through the modules towards the SQA accredited qualification is outstanding. I’m half way through the modules after the second classroom day yesterday. The pre course work is excellent, includes practical demonstrations, and gets you in the right mindset before each classroom session. Each day is carefully structured, well presented and for me most importantly you get a significant amount of time to practice what you are learning with your other attendees before you go back to work and try what you learn with your students in a “real life” environment. Coaches are on hand throughout to help and provide support as required. Yesterday’s session was excellent, and as we worked through various coaching models I was already thinking about which of my students would benefit. You get to learn new skills, meet like minded other instructors and come away with real tangible skills and ideas to help your students reach their goal of becoming a safe driver - not just pass the test. It’s really helped me think more about how my students feel, what their values are, and how much of an influence post test on their driving these can have. I’d thoroughly recommend this qualification.

After initially hearing Stewart talk on a podcast episode I decided to take a look at what he was offering with this course. After a few emails back & forth I decided to take the plunge and sign up to cohort 2. I’m only at the module 2 stage currently but already I’m noticing the difference in my driving lessons and in my life in general. I was a PDI when signing up and the work in module 1 helped me successfully pass my part 3 exam (though that’s not what this course is about). The online support (email, facebook group as well as what’s-app & zoom) is good and the in-person days are excellent. Even though it’s a 7 hour round trip drive and a night in a hotel I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore these coaching models & invest in themselves as a forward thinking instructor / trainer and partake in some of the highest quality CPD available ✌🏼

Can't recommend this course enough I've been on many Coaching courses in previous roles and always struggled to implement the coaching into day to day, but bright coaching and the trainers have broken this down whereby I've been able to implement everything into my lessons with ease and the team at Bright Coaching are always on hand to deal with any enquires I have, via zoom or even over a coffee. This course goes beyond the standard check and I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to delve in Coaching in the driving industry.

I started this course back in March 2024 after having done many coaching courses before. I can honestly say this is the first course that has taught me something new to take into my lessons and is making me think past a standards check level of coaching.
I normally find courses quite difficult to follow as there is usually lots of information just thrown at you without any real chance to practically apply it on the training day, but Bright’s course allows for loads of practical application with my peers at the training day before taking it away and apply it in actual lessons!
Would recommend this course to anyone who is looking to delve deeper into coaching within driving instruction.

I'd been meaning to do a coaching course for some time and when this one came along I took the plunge. So far it's been great really pushed me out of my comfort zone towards being a practicing coach rather than someone who just enjoys reading about coaching.
