Very efficient and friendly service. Excellent at advising on French banking processes and practices. Help always easily accessible if answers to specific questions not available online. Very good value and very easy to manage accounts online.
Just called Britline to set up ApplePay and Internet payment- no waiting, straight through, intelligent and charming advisor, all sorted within minutes…so very, very different from using a British Bank, they’re amazing
I recently needed to close all my Britline accounts, having less need for them now following Brexit. Although there was an initial hiccup that delayed the process communication to and from Britline was excellent throughout. The accounts are now closed, but I would have no hesitation to come back should the opportunity arise.
Had an account with Britline for over twenty years and have had nothing but good service. The phone lines are staffed by pleasant and helpful operators who speak excellent English.

An utter indifference to the customer experience. Typical French banking bureaucracy and complexity with added arrogance because they speak English to you as they do it so you should be extra grateful. Finally, with the amount of alternatives appearing, people can vote with their feet and maybe one day things will improve. I am leaving for sure. Possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Except Orange but they are so bad it's almost entertaining. Use literally anyone else.

If only all banks were like Britline. In every way Britline scores and as British with interests in France we're extremely lucky to have such a service. Superb.
We lived in France for 27 years and I must say that all our dealings with CA Britline have always been extremely positive. Although I am confident with technology, when I needed help or reassurance, it was always there. The staff are well trained and everyone we spoke to were efficient with excellent people skills.
We would thoroughly recommend.
Excellent service providing English speaking banking and investments in France. Part of Credit Agricole the biggest bank in France offering insurance (home/car) Life Insurance and savings accounts. Personal advisor with every account. Fully recommended.
My wife and I have been with CA Britline for 18 years and have always received excellent customer service.
We use our account for payment of all direct debits to do with our holiday home in France and also for home insurance.
We have fortunately only needed to make one claim many years ago and this was settled in a timely manner and to our total satisfaction.
Whilst our French language skills are 'adequate', when it comes to banking and insurance it is easier to have an English-speaking bank to call on.
Mess up with money transfer from UK, turned out to be with HIFX in UK.
Elodie at the CA Britline Customer service was excellent and got things sorted very quickly, keeping me informed all along the way.

I have been using britline for several years, and have just concluded business with them. I have had sympathetic and caring dealings with the company and cannot recommend them highly enough. I dealt with Dave Metcalf and would like to thank him for all his hard work.
I have been with Britline over 15 years since we bought a house in Brittany.
I am now 75 and I can honestly say that in all the banking process I have never experienced such excellent, and friendly customer service, in England or France. Their response to any queries was always same day. And whatever the reason, they were very helpful and understanding, especially when I was suffering with prostate cancer.
All the staff at their Normandy branch in Caen that I have dealt with have been superb.
I can totally recommend them whatever your French banking needs.
Great bank , great staff, always look out for you with your banking issues and the account itself.
Recommend this Bank to anyone who wants the old fashion values of a Bank.

We have recently purchased a property in France and have used Britline bank in Normandy as our nominated bank. We can only say they have been 100% helpful and professional at all times . It has been a pleasure dealing with customer service who have been.. polite and always very patient throughout this stressful period moving to France and house purchase. … especially with our lack of IT. Knowledge and difficulty using IT with bank transfers to Notaire services.
I have been overwhelmed with the service and can only thank the two fantastic agents Katherine and Sophie who have been with us throughout this experience.
I look forward to using Britline on arrival in France for our daily banking and knowing someone is there at the end of the phone sadly unlike British banking experience of late .

I have been with Britline over three years since I came to France. I am 62 and I can honestly say that I have never experienced such amazing customer service, every single time I have had to call. And being 62 I have called for the most trivial of reasons…lol. Just for being talked through how to use the online banking etc. I can quickly speak to someone without pressing buttons and every single Britline advisor that I have spoken to has been amazing. I used to be with Barclays Premier Banking in the Uk…And pay a fee for the privilege. If I wanted to speak to someone, I had to tap dance pressing numbers for 5 minutes to get through…and then speak to someone in a large call centre who seemed to just want the call over ASAP…presumably under pressure to take the next.
Britline on the other hand , takes me back 40 years when people were actually interested in you and sincere in solving your problems.
If you are from the UK and are looking for a bank, you would be crazy not to choose Britline.

Excellent customer service and everything worked well, from lost debit card, international payments and now closing the account since I left France. I might have paid over the odds for a current account, transfer fees etc, but worth it for the service. Thanks!
