I have tried on numerous occasion to Unsubscribe from this company unsuccessfully, I have emailed them telling them to remove me from their database without success, just keep getting spam from them. Very annoying.

I have been trying for several weeks to contact Brookdale, I have sent numerous emails but no response, my deadline was Christmas week but I have only heard from them a couple of times, I'm absolutely fuming, my advice is to stay completely away from this company, you can't get through on the phone, I try several times each day, this is not how to run a good business, absolutely disgusting

Following on from my last review…

Brooksdale replied to the poor review saying they had indeed received payment from HMRC & that they would liaise & support me to follow the next steps…

Guess what- still nothing. No reply to my emails, when I call it goes to full inbox. I’ve sought advice from the financial ombudsman- Wrote another complaint & I hope this will be resolved.

Terrible service. It’s been a year since the original application. Please avoid this company people.

It’s proper scrap company , I have more than 6 months, I have never received any answer, I call them 8 times every day and no one answers , I want to cancel and no one answers, it's the worst company .

Its been eleven months now. All I get is spam mail telling me I could claim more monies back from HMRC. No one has replied to replies to my last 3 E mails. They were quick enough to tell HMRC that my tax return needed amending, obviously not in my favour , at least until they had gotten my money back. As of time of writing ( 10 months later), I still havens received a reply.

These people are con artists to nth degree ringing them is impossible and any form of contact incurs disgustingly high charges for doing absolutely nothing,I have been trying for 2 years to access this company am now going to close my bank account so they can no longer take money from my account for doing sweet fa

After receiving an email way back in October 23 saying you had recovered some money for me. I endeavoured to claim it. The link you sent did not allow for me to upload proof of who I am.
After numerous attempts to call you, it either goes to answer machine or you claim you can't hear me.
You don't reply to emails, I'm afraid my experience of dealing with you has been very frustratingly negative to say the least.
How is a person supposed to claim their money?

how came you can reply to the reviews on Trust Pilot but not answer the phone or your emails ?? Very very angry customer

They are awful company. They did a tax refund request for me without my consent and now 7 months later I am still trying to get my money from them.
This is theft.
You can’t get hold of anyone it just rings.

This company held onto my tax refund for 5 months, after chasing and numerous emails, kept replying, we are still investigating your claim. Do not use this company, they are scammers to

Waste of time,I supplied this company with all my details for a refund of ppi,I heard back from the inland revenue asking me to prove that I had been taxed on my ppi refunds,never heard anything back from this company,total waste of my time.

Been waiting since July 2023 to get my refund kept getting same emails saying that its with the HMRC and nothing else they could do. Managed to get in contact with HMRC this morning and was told that the cheque went to them on the 13th July and they should have had it by. The 6th August last year. I feel like they have stolen my money as keep getting fobbed off by brooksdale saying its still with hmrc and I need the date sent and the cheque number well i have these now let's see what excuse you are going to go e me for not sending money I am going yo report for fraud if not solved as its been going on now for months

I have been requesting an e mail so that I can give details of my bank acc. so that Brooksdale can pay me my part of a HMRC rebate. I have been requesting this by e mail for many months. There is no one to ring and e mails have not been replied to.

Well after all the e mails and texts and saying my husband was over the 90;days he received his refund today!

10th of October 2023 I submitted a HMRC Claim through Brooksdale, I was kept informed via automated email for several weeks regarding the claim and was told 8-10 weeks for a decision. 5 Months later and all communication regarding my claim has stopped, instead I’m bombarded with spam emails asking if I want to claim for car finance! Can’t get through to anyone on the phone, and emails don’t get a response! Pretty sure this is just a scam company at this point. I’ve read all kinds of horror stories online about Brooksdale. Including people stating that HMRC have issued a refund and Brooksdale have kept the money. Be aware SCAM ALERT!🚨

I was informed that I would receive some notification from the HMRC back on the 23rd of July and I still haven't heard anything!? They also keep sending me spam emails about possible claims which I am not interested in and I have tried several times to unsubscribe from their emails but it doesn't work. I am beginning to wonder if these guys are legit or not! Frustrating!

Not only does your unsubscribe button not work, but I have told you on the phone and sent e-mail to stop contacting me, both being ignored.
I tolerated you taking nearly 50% of the claim as your fee, but will not stand continued harassment.

Brooksdale have basically been on my claim for over 3yrs. HMRC have instructed me that Brooksdale received a cheque in 2022 for part of my claim.
Having contacted Brooksdale on multiple occasions via phone and email, they say, ah we will be in touch to sort out payment or we are waiting for the next years claim to send back and then send it to you all in one.
Today they have told me that the payment is past 90 days, I forfeit the payment. So they have basically stolen my money.
They never get in touch, you have to chase them all the time.
Would never use or recommend again. Please do not use.

sent claim in october its now almost march, tax office has not got a claim, wow what a surprise

Bad experience!! Through no fault of my own! My first refund went into my bank no problem all I hat to do was give my bank details and national insurance number. My second refund same thing but they also wanted a photo I’d which I didn’t have! I emailed them a number of times telling them I didn’t have photo I’d!!Do they keep all my money?
