I would stay away from Sparklight as…
I would stay away from Sparklight as much as I can. They were the only provider in my area so I have no choice but to use their service. My internet is going on and offline which makes it so inconvenient for my business. It’s much better when I’m connected to my hotspot on my phone. I have 3 years of contract with them; they would not let me break contract early even though they are unreliable. I would have to pay over $2,000 just to break contract which I have 2 years. They are the worst. I never have any problems with any other companies I had in the past in another area.
Sales guy unprofessional
Sales guy unprofessional. When bill was due, he would come by 2 or 3 times a week to collect. Even would talk bad about previous customers that were late on bills. As well, he went to a Wake service to bad mouth me to advertising station to not do business with me .Also brought his supervisor to our store and she said she used to follow us on Facebook and in the same breath said she would put together an advertising plan for us. Unprofessional and will never do business with them again.
Quick responses and quick install.
Corporate is disconnected
Corporate is disconnected from the locals. Told me they needed to send someone over to evaluate the install. Local office had already done the install. Someone came out and ran the cable to my modem, told me to call and get it connected. Called Corporate and was told they would come and install the cable in a week. I argued with them that it was already done, but who am I. Finally got a call from local to get my modem hooked up. Overall a bad experience with the initial install.
Hunter was wonderful
Hunter was wonderful, extremely friendly and respectful. I appreciate that he kept me updated on the install and referred to me for decisions.
Professional
Professional, polite, got everything done in a timely matter, all tested and good before they left.

Signed up for the service some months ago. Continued receiving a ton of promo on my email box and I could not stopped receiving this spam, and after almost 6 months they have finally stopped this. Very slow management of their email protocol from my point of view

Very Helpful
Both installers were prompt, organized, polite and professional. They were mindful of my work and provided advanced notice of arrival at my office. Both were friendly and answered my questions about the procedure of installation knowledgeably. Great experience.

Fast, efficient service
So far, our experience with Sparklight has been really good. Installation was timely and quick and the technician was professional and friendly. When we asked to have our service moved, again it was timely and quick and the technician was great. Our only dissapointment is the cost of moving the service. It seems a bit high.

Sales and installer were very professional.
Sales person understood our small church's needs and did a fine job of facilitating them with absolutely no pressure. Installer communicated with me before the appointed installation. The installation went off without a hitch. He was knowledgeable, experienced and answered all questions. All around great experience.

Terrible Installation
The process of setting up our account and installation was fine. However, the technician that showed up to install the line was terrible. The line was installed from an existing cabinet to a temporary project office and was done so in just about the most unprofessional way possible. Cable was connected to a port in the existing communications cabinet and was run out of the face of cabinet and through the door opening. The door doesn't have enough clearance on the bottom for the cable to clear so the door had to be left open. The cable was then layed on the floor in the middle of a covered hall/walkway and then run on the ground through the mechanical courtyard and is a major trip hazard due to this being where all of the maintenance for the buildings' HVAC systems are done. Finally, after approximately 2 weeks of contacting our "Business Associate", a technician returned and our Superintendent had them relocate the cable to be temporary mounted on the wall so it was out of the way of foot traffic. As originally installed, it would have either caused a safety issue or it would have been snagged and pulled loose either at the cabinet or at the office trailer. The initial installation was so bad, we fired our Superintendent for letting it happen.

Installation went well and WiFi signal…
Installation went well and WiFi signal is good throughout the office. The only issue is the cable from the power pole to the office. I was told it would be buried by a subcontractor within a week to 10 days. One month later the cable is still laying on top of the ground.
