Amazing selection of meat, Marbling of the ribs looks like Japanese Wagyu! Blackmore Rohnes selection at 20% till end of the month. Butcherbox reminds me of HG Walter in London, our butcher for the past 17 years. Excellent service from Rina, definitely returning for more.
No major complaints other than the price!
Unfortunately there is no communication about orders until they’ve already been packed and delivered — and can’t be cancelled or refunded. If I could do it again, I wouldn’t give them a credit card to abuse. Could be great food for all I know, I just can’t eat it as I’m not home. shit I don’t want and didn’t order. Customer service is polite but unless you’re clairvoyant they’re not communicating to you at all that your order is upcoming.
I cancelled my ButcherBox account, yet they still charged me and shipped a box to an address where I no longer live. When I reached out to customer service, the experience was incredibly frustrating — no real help, no accountability, and no resolution. It feels like they just don’t care about their customers once they’ve got your payment. I will never order from ButcherBox again and strongly recommend others stay away.
I always buy humanely raised pork and every time I get their bacon, it is all fat with hardly any meat. This is ongoing with them. Not worth the price. Also, the premade hamburgers are extremely strong in flavor.
For the longest I have been looking for fresh lean clean meat products that best for my family , during the pandemic when all was new to it and the uncertainty of things with having food at the grocery available, I came to mind that I wasn't going to be able to get what was needed for our family so I decided to give butcher box a try since it was highly recommended , the best part was that it was delivered and pricing was very reasonable, I have loved I don't have to go out to different stores to purchase meats that I don't know how its being treated before coming to my table. Thank you for butcher box to making my life easier .
