I know my way around Photoshop reasonably well when it come to photo editing however making my images look more artistic and getting that wow factor, this is where I needed Brendans assistance.

I provided a few samples of my images and together we went through them highlighting things that could be further undertaken to add more realism and impact.

Brendan then showed me the hows, whats and whys within Photoshop and now I can see very clearly what I need to do on future images.

A really good experience, well worth the time and effort. So much so I am thinking of going for another session once I have taken on-board his recommendations and techniques.

Very clear explanations, with often repeated procedures to get used to it.

As a new comer to not only computers but P.S. this has been very helpful and informative, I love how Brendan repeats important information to cement these details as you are following his instructions.

Fantastic course with so much care into the details. The teaching method works well for me. Never felt like the course timing was leaving me behind.

Going through each function, building my skillsets and understanding is making Photoshop more understandable and less daunting.

I love how you explain everything but I am unfamiliar with PS. I need to remove an ugly light from a background or replace the background. I tried AI in lightroom but it didn't do a great job so I wanted to try to remove it in PS. I can't find a lesson to help me with that.

I had a problem using Brendan's collage templates, caused by my Photoshop set-up. I sent an email and I have never experienced such dedicated and focused customer support. It entailed several messages and a bespoke video, but he didn't give up until he had it working perfectly for me. If my heart surgeon showed such an interest in resolving my problems I would be more than happy.

The follow alongs were a terrific learning tool … especially the ones in the later modules. They helped reinforce the technical lessons learned earlier as well as teaching more about how the different tools can be used to enhance photos. I also like being able to jump back and review earlier videos to better learn the technical side after becoming more comfortable with how they can be used.

Covering these many specific subjects, the detailed presentation is very well organized, with well planned continuity. There is a usefull amount of repetition and good transitions in a sensible order. Everything that is presented can be studied closely and reviewed as needed to dispell any possible confusion.
The pace of Brendan's speech is very brisk. I got more out of each viewing by slowing the playback speed in the YouTube control to 0.75, to mimic a studio lecture.

I am new to learning photoshop. I am also not a photographer or media person. I took this course because I wanted to learn how to do object removal, touch ups, brighten/darken my own personal photos. I purchased this course back at the end of August 2024, I started it, did little by little with some breaks in between, and I have only now completed. (Busy with life)
This course taught me more than what I was looking for. I'm thinking I would like to get into beginner photography and practice what I learned in this course. You did a great job at explaining the lessons and it was easy to follow along. There is a lot of information to take in for me, lots of little steps, I like that I am able to log in and re-watch as needed, I know I will have to for a re-fresher.
Thank you for sharing your skills, it was well worth it.

at the beginning i was feeling out of my depth with photoshop and some days i wanted to give up, but the more i watched the more i enjoyed the course,brendan is a brilliant teacher and helpful as my downloads was taking days and he did help with this issue.

No fluff, no dead-wood, no ambiguity, just info delivered straight to the point. There really wasn't anything to be confused about in the presentations.

I feel more secure and confident in my skills in photoshop as I believe they have been strengthened as a result of taking and completing the course.

I had previously watched many Youtube videos trying to self teach myself Photoshop. After much frustration I decided to invest in this course. I am so pleased I did as it has proven to be everything that I was looking for. A well structured, clearly articulated, programme that enables each student to progress at their own pace.
I am delighted that I invested in this course.

I got a great deal from this course, especially the earlier modules for making selections and removing distracting elements. The explanations for use of layers and layer masks was very helpful. Having access to the same files as in the modules was extremely helpful since I was able to gauge my success and understanding of the module by comparing my result to the tutorial. I was able to reproduce nearly every exercise.

I found some of the added effects of less interest, but this has mainly to do with my style of photography. The latter modules did get a bit complicated for me. Even so, many of the techniques used for these effects can be applied elsewhere in more traditional editing.

I am an experienced Lightroom user and usually defer to it unless I have an edit in mind that can't be accomplished easily or at all. I then revert to Photoshop, and the skills taught in this course will be very beneficial, though it does take considerable practice once you move beyond simple adjustment layers.
