Thanks for your feedback, we really do appreciate it.

As the UK's first pay-by-mile insurance provider, we do appreciate that what we offer is different to the norm and so we do our best to make the pricing as clear as we possibly can. We even go so far as to give you a breakdown of monthly estimates according to your estimated yearly mileage.

We've designed our policies to work best for lower mileage drivers (those that drive under the UK average of around 7,000 miles a year - or 140-150 miles a week). If you do drive more than that, it may be that a pay by the mile policy isn't necessarily the best policy for you. We never want you to be tied to a policy that is not right for you, which is why you can cancel at any time.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, and I’m sorry to hear you are disappointed with your latest statement.

When the Miles Tracker is plugged into your vehicle, it uses GPS location to measure the journeys that you make; therefore, all of the miles you’ve been charged for are based on the movement of the vehicle while the device is plugged in and active.

All of the journeys that are measured by your Miles Tracker and make up your statement are available to view on the By Miles app/online dashboard. If you feel the number of miles we’ve charged is incorrect, please review the journeys we’ve measured and let us know if any are incorrect. We will be happy to investigate these for you.
