Damon handled the conveyance of our house sale very professionally and was responsive and supportive throughout the process.

I used Caesar and Howie for their probate service for my mum’s estate. They were very good with the probate service and I would recommend them for that. However, due to the fact that they were also estate agents, I used them for the sale of my mum’s house also. Their fees were £3089 for the sale of the house. I was shocked by this cost, given that estate agents in the area were charging much less. For example, Remax charge £1800 for their service. I also checked other agents in the area that were a similar price to Remax - not £3089!! When I inquired about the cost, I was given an inventory and breakdown of the cost. I felt that the fees were too high. When I initially inquired about their fees over the telephone they said they would be around £2300. But I was charged £3089. So I am writing this review so that other people don’t get ripped off by high fees when other companies offer the same service at a lower cost. My mums house was not a difficult sell and to charge fees of this magnitude, I personally thought was outrageous. I still stand by my review, that if other companies in the area are charging a flat fee of £1800 to £2100 and Caesar and Howie are charging a £3089 for the same service.

I was given excellent advice and guidance when purchasing my house. There was good communication between us and I could contact them anytime by either phone, text or email. I highly recommend Caesar and Howie to anyone that is selling or purchasing a property.

Bathgate office. I went for help on a boundary dispute and asked for an expert in boundaries. Turns out they werent. I disputed the bill after many repeat emails were charged for and failing to answer my questions and follow my instructions. I raised a complaint and was offered a discount, i didnt believe the discount was enough and they ended up taking me to court. Still going through the courts 5 years on
