Garbage all the way around

First and last time ordering. I purchased Disney licensed flannel shirt as a gift and I’m embarrassed to give it to the recipient.
Shirt was a decent quality flannel, however, the Disney decal on the back is a large, poor quality vinyl sticker and the ad is MISLEADING since it mentions embroidery.
Misleading advertising and to ad insult to injury, their 50% 0ff sale started the day after I purchased.
I emailed the company to see if I could get avprice adjustment and they never responded.
This company sucks all around- NEVER AGAIN.

AVOID! - I've Been a customer of this company for…

I've been a customer of this company for well over 7 years and spent thousands in store.

I had an issue with one of my orders and when I filed a complaint with them, their customer service went INSANE and completly cancelled my order and my entire rewards account with $150 in it.

I am now selling anything I have from this company and will never support them again or give them another dollar.

It's insane how they would treat a long term customer.

Bad experiences lately

I remember being wary of ordering from Cakeworthy for the first time because of all the negative reviews and bad experiences I’d seen others say about their orders from the site. I decided to just order and see how it went, and I had three items come without any issues (aside from an hoodie that had a really unpleasant fishy odor when it arrived). And then recently I ordered an item and there was no update or shipping confirmation for over a week, so I reached out… no response, but a refund came the next day. I was so disappointed they didn’t tell me there was a stock issue with the size I ordered sooner so I could’ve ordered a different size before it all sold out over the week I was waiting for my item to ship. Ok so then I decided to order something else and it appears the same thing is happening… it’s been a week and no shipping update at all. No response from customer service. It says the item is in stock on the site, so I’m not sure what’s going on but honestly I’m so frustrated with the lack of customer service and now I completely understand the negative reviews. They literally don’t respond to inquiries.

poorly made and customer service is useless

I ordered a pair of pajamas through them and after just sitting around in the house for a few hours the seam quite literally fell apart. I reached out to customer service and they refuse to do anything. They take days to respond and when they do it is one single sentence that simply says they will not refund or exchange it. I will be contacting shop pay or my bank, whichever will give me a refund, because this is absurd. Company is a scam and you can't even leave a review without being invited to by email.

So I did a review on their actual website for The Mummy Flannel. Obviously I wasn't going to leave a glowing review, but felt that they would be an honest company and post it. I didn't swear, or post anything angry... was just giving an idea of what to expect, in a funny way. Of course it wasn't posted to their website. Just know that what you're seeing on their website will only be the "best" reviews.

I was pretty disappointed. I ordered 3 of the Universal Monsters Flannels (Frakenstein, The Mummy, Wolfman) and the shirts came quickly, looked as advertised... but the fabric was paper thin and feels cheap. Within hours of wearing The Mummy Flannel, it was already beginning to pill and wear off on the shirt I had on underneath. I will say the embroidering and the graphic on the back of the shirt looks cool, but they were originally selling these shirts for $99.00 CAD. For the quality, it almost feels like you've been scammed. For the sale price of $40 per shirt, I'll eat the cost, but will not be shopping with them again. This is a buyer beware warning. Looks cool, but a gold covered turd, is still just a turd.

Had issues with not receiving goods…

Had issues with not receiving goods paid for, the company was more than unhelpful and downright snarky when we attempted to work with them and threatened to send collections after us if we did a VISA chargeback.

Do not give this company your business, they do not value your time or money.

They stole over $100 from me !!!!

I only gave 1 star because I could not continue but I would give this place 0 stars.

Placed order 9/2 $156.16 they took out the full payment from my bank same day.

2 days later they ship 4 out of 19 items to this day 9/23 I have not received. I've emailed them over 15 times asking if the items will be shipped ? Maybe out of stock ? If items out of stock where is my refund ???

A week after one of my complaints got through i get a copy paste generic email that doesn't address my issue or give any answers.

I've emailed continuously the one email address provided because there is not phone number.

No response

I've filed with my bank and also left a complaint with the US consumer section for this fraud and scam website.

This is the worst online shopping experience I've ever had.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM CAKEWORTHY.COM THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst customer service I have EVER experienced. EVER

I've ordered from them MULITPLE times, this time my order has been taking over 2 weeks to process, so I email them...wrong choice...their customer service is TRASH! Rude AF, they ended up cancelling my order and told me I was not allowed to order from them ever again. They said they didn't like I how I spoke to them... I never cursed or anything. Very upsetting as I have made multiple orders and LOVE their products. This was so awful

Cheap product

First they do not have good customer service. You have to email, wait, then email again. By the time you do all of this it's likely to late for a Solution. 1. I ordered a fanny pack, literally before it shipped it went on sale $10 less than I paid. As with any other company ive delt with, I asked customer service for a proce adjustment because it happened so fast, and Product has not come yet. They refused. 2. Slowest USPS shipping used, but shipping charge same as faster shipping with other companies. 3. The bag smells like poop. It is currently sitting outside and I am hoping it goes away. 4. Very thin, no decorative lining, or inner pocket. I have Many fanny packs... Disney, jujube, etsy and this is the cheapest. Only cute thing is the pattern, but it still is not very vibrant. Truthfully I really don't like the fanny pack it smells, it's thin,it feels cheap but I absolutely don't want to deal with customer service anymore I feel like I just wasted my money. Stay with Boxlunch, hottopic, etsy etc.

I recently purchased from this company after being advertised their clothing for a long time. I had seen influencers make positive reviews and thought, why not! I purchased 4 items, and the quality of the products for the price was honestly shocking. The items I bought ranged from $30 to $60 for a t shirt or sweater, most of which were purchased on sale on retailed originally for $60 to $90. The sizing runs large and is explicitly stated in multiple places on the website and reviews so that's okay. I had loose threads, extremely poorly done graphics, and very thin fabric. I decided to look past it as I was in general happy with my items, just surprised they weren't as high quality as the price suggests. The real problem comes when I washed one of the items and the graphic completely faded off. I washed it inside out, in cold water and hung it to dry. I was shocked to see my brand new $60 shirt ruined. When I reached out to cakeworthy for help, they were very quick to respond, but very short and dry, ultimately telling me it's my fault as their items are all hand wash only. I have searched all over their website, FAQ page, the tags, and the packaging and nowhere did it say to hand wash any of it. They will not help me as they say it is my fault for not assuming this before washing! Who sells hand washed basics? I am extremely disappointed and will not be purchasing from this company again

Store appreciation!

I want to say, I enjoy this store. The collabs are always worth the wait, and whenever I have a question about certain items, I always get a speedy response. I had found this shop around 2023 but started shopping here in 2024. I appreciate that the staff and even the boss take the time to give something fresh to their customers. Plus there’s always a sale going on. Which is a huge bonus.

the WORST customer service I have had period

I am SHOCKED with how terrible the customer service is. They put the wrong address on my package which was confirmed with the post office and the refused to do ANYTHING, not even contact the delivery company to enquire. Refused refund. The worst part is since the address was wrong on my package I was unable to even collect it. DO NOT ORDER HERE, READ THE REVIEWS !

Deceitful

Site is deceitful. Placed order without my knowledge and customer service was rude and unhelpful.
I’ve ordered here a couple times. Takes a while for packages to arrive and it’s not the best quality despite prices.
Done with this site.

Terrible customer service

I’ve been a faithful customer for the last 6 years and have spent thousands at this store never having an issue. That being said with this last order I don’t think I’ll be buying anymore from them as the customer service is awful. Ordered a huge order back in mid May, some was shipped and after 5 weeks of no update I reached out and they simply cancelled my order to refund me as it’s all now sold out! I asked why I had to reach out, and that I saw weeks after my order that it was still available so not sure why I didn’t get my order fulfilled. Never again

Vengeful company

They cancelled my order because I "threatened" them. All I did was ask for a specific shipping date because I had ordered my item almost a month ago. They said they had delays and blah blah blah, but they promised two weeks, so when I complained about it, they called me threatening. They also said that if I wasn't "willing to wait then don't buy." Like??? I'm willing to wait if you clearly state that you'll send the item in over two months, but if you say it takes 5 business days to ship and then don't ship, that's false advertising. Also, the email I got for the cancellation said that they cancelled because the product was "out of stock," and then the customer service person said they cancelled the order because of my "behavior."
This company is a joke, and they treat their customers like garbage, even if they are repeat customers.

My first and last order

My first and last order! The customer service I received was terrible! The responses are very short and bordering on rude. There was a code glitch with my order and they refuse to help make it right. When reading up on the reviews I have seen a lot of common experiences.

Positivity all the way around!

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Cakeworthy. I’ve placed many orders & received them within a week of placing. Their rewards program is top notch.
I just had a fabulous experience with customer service; they were extremely fast (within 10 mins of my email my problem was solved)
I will forever be a customer of Cakeworthy!! Thank you!!
