I've never subscribed to this application but they have my personal data and obviously they don't want to delete it.

I paid R234.99/ Year Premium special on 17th July 2024. I get a message to update to premium after 3 months and shows "YOUR TRIAL HAS ENDED". My account states payment due 17th JULY 2025. So much for CallApp special prices.

Probably OKISH in some ways. Yet to me still MORE hassle than it is worth. Highly likely they are allowed to SELL information based on their legalese agreements. BETTER than TrueCaller which is ULTRA scammy I am sure, yet still after sending the SMS message in order to sign up for the service ONE of the invasive permissions it wanted without ANY ability to disallow was ACCESS to my camera and contacts. WHY DOES A STUPID CALLER ID APP WANT ACCESS TO MY PERSONAL CAMERA? That was really the only question I had to ask to know this is just a business trying to hawk wares...when your CALL PROVIDER company should already be completely able to do what this app is downloaded for. Rogers/Bell already all the functionality this program has without BLOATWARE, and if you want call recording there are MANY good apps that will do that simple feature without asking for every piece of information on their phone (such as what is on my camera).

I never knew I had it anyway as my mobile 'tells me' who is calling anyway.
It is pointless and annoying - nevermind that I didn't ask for it.

Not happy. Just met a guy gave him my number he uses this app. I was going to give him my nick name. I don’t know him. I would like to get to know him. Now he’s got my whole name, can go on Facebook and crawl all over it. I would like to get to know someone slowly the old fashion way. God knows what other data my telephone provider has sold. No data protection.
