This was our first time attending Camp Kindling and it did not disappoint. We had an amazing time as a family of 4 (incl children aged 5 and 8) on the boutique camping site. The staff were great, very helpful and attentive. The facilities were clean and cleaned regularly.

The weekend overall was a perfect mix of relaxed yet active. It was great to just spend quality time with your family making meaningful memories and trying new things together (without iPads). The food vendors were really nice and reasonably priced if your preference is to utilise this way of food as we did.

All round it was a great atmosphere and energy. I loved how it catered to all of the family. We all truly loved the experience and will be looking to come again next year!

I would definitely recommend to anybody who is thinking of attending.

A great family festival. A fantastic variety of activities during the day and music/entertainment at night. We loved taking part in the patrol games and the sense of community (#HawksForLife!). It never felt too busy and the woodland setting was lovely. We have already booked again for next year.

Camp Kindling is amazing! So good that we booked to go again as soon as we got home. This will now be our yearly break. We loved it. There's something for everyone!

Great setup and kids had a wail of a time. We’ll be going again.
Could improve:
Soft play offering for the little ones.
WiFi/internet needs sorting as this is how activities are booked and was a major drawback.
Come with a full wallet!

We loved the whole weekend, great entertainment, happy vibes and time to switch off with the family. We booked as soon as we could to go back next year!

Incredibly inclusive, something for everyone in the family. If you’re an outdoorsy family like we are you will have the best time ever! Everyone is super friendly, and we have made some friends for life! It’ll be our yearly tradition now

Absolutely love it. Such good fun all round and totally different to anything I normally do in my life. It's great to try new things and find that you are a pretty good shot with an axe!

Such an amazing experience in nature a huge variety of activities available for all the family, great music, great vibes, fab decor, community commardary. Highly recommended.

An unforgettable family weekend!

These years go so fast, and Camp Kindling gave us a weekend we’ll always remember.

It was our first time camping with baby Mila, and she absolutely loved it! We chose a pre-pitched tent for ease, and it was fantastic — such a simple way to enjoy camping with little ones.

With three kids of different ages, finding something they’ll all enjoy isn’t always easy, but Camp Kindling absolutely nailed it. The boys were non-stop with tree climbing, canopy gondolas, zip lines, tie-dye, aerial hoop and trapeze, dune buggies, rock climbing, Nerf battles, water blasters, archery and field games. There really was something for everyone.

They loved taking on challenges to earn patrol tokens, creating candy floss art, and getting involved in the team games and music in the evenings.

And for us adults? The music was amazing — especially Romeo and Lisa Maffia! 🎶

Adventure by day, party by night — proper family time made easy.

Camp Kindling really did give us memories to last forever, and we’d absolutely recommend it to families looking for a fun, relaxed and memorable weekend together.

We’re already looking forward to summer 2027! ❤️

This festival operates a bizarre and confusing ticket resale system whereby tickets are offered for a 48h period to individuals rather than just being made available on an open resale market. They also prohibit sales on other platforms, tying you into their odd system and exposing you to significant financial loss if you can't attend (in our case over £400).

This seems to have resulted in over 100 resale places going unsold for an event that sold out months ago. Surely the event organisers don't want to lose so much onsite revenue themselves by leaving all these tickets unused?

I can't believe this is a legitimate or sensible way to operate a resale platform. Needless to say I don't recommend other customers take this financial risk - if you can't attend be aware you may be forced to lose the money.

Awful customer service , they clearly just don't care , all they want is your money, I should read the reviews before ive made the final payment , and as you can see other peoples reviews Im not the only one who had this kind of experience. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD !!

I will update IF we manage to attend. Unfortunately, my email account was hacked and I was no longer able to access the portal with our tickets. Whilst I understand this is not Camp Kindling's fault their customer service has been shocking.

Multiple times I have requested someone to call me, which has been ignored. I have provided original email addresses, telephone numbers, bank screenshots of payments, details of what has been booked, full names of all attending, I have offered to provide photo ID to show it is me. I have been trying for 5 days now, the festival 3 days out. I have messaged on Whatsapp and email. My first message was on 14th, each time I respond I am waiting over their 6 hour limit. One of the reasons given was the team is small and they are already on site building the event.

Once again whilst I understand the initial problem is not Camp Kindling's fault, but I have managed to reset emails/accounts/tickets on ticketmaster, banking accounts and government websites within the same timeframe and with less information. Really disappointed in how this has been handled. For a company all about family experience, they have made this unnecessarily stressful, at an already stressful time for my family.

Customer service is appalling. If you encounter any difficulties or faults at CK, they take no accountability and are a very mean company. No good will and no care to respond or resolve issues in timely and fair manner. No regard for people with disabilities. CK is not inclusive. Also if your child is neurodivergent, they do not care to include you. We have photos of very poor quality boutique camping site which is advertised & sold as luxury no worries camping.
CK need to improve their customer service at their head office and be a fairer more compassionate company. They advertise that they are child friendly & family orientated but that is far from our experience of CK senior leadership approach and many other families too. CK sounds good & some may have an ok experience but sadly for many that is not the case. CK company sadly is just all about the money, and money grabbing, no ethics, no morals, no decency.

The most brilliant and amazing family weekend, words cannot describe how truly magnificent it really is. Everything has been so well thought of and planned, there's nothing they haven't thought about! Action packed from the moment you wake until you fall asleep and you can go at your own pace and do as much or as little as you want!

It was our first time at camp kindling this year and it was an experience I will never forget! Our family of 5 had such wonderful weekend.

When you first walk into the site the trees are lit up with feston lights, just the site itself is a magical place – it feels like a festival hidden in an enchanted forest.

There’s so much to do – we were blown away by the variety of activities all in one place! Our favourites included tree climbing (complete with sofas high up in the branches!), grass sledging, aerial hoop, kickboxing, the climbing wall – and that’s just scratching the surface. There was something for every member of the family to get stuck into.

In the evening the forest comes to life with music and entertainment, there was something for everyone, music, kids entertainers and comedy. I love the idea that every one gets a ‘patrol’ when they join and the atmosphere of the patrol games at the was fantastic. Overall it was a weekend to remember, full of fun and excitement, A truly magical place, I would definitely recommend!

Fab holiday. Great experience. Could do with more spaces in the activities after the priority people have taken theirs, it feels a little discriminatory at times as it’s very pricey already without having to pay more to get on the likes of quad biking and trapeze. Food prices are extortionate. It’s cashless. Kids love it. Parties all round. The Campfires and festival vibes go on til late and we loved the safe family atmosphere. Roll on next year! Go Foxes!!!

We had such a great time at Camp Kindling with our 3 kids under 6! The festival is brilliantly put together with so many amazing activities to keep little ones (and parents!) entertained. Highlights for us were the tree climbing and the stomp music session – the kids are still talking about them! The atmosphere was really friendly, and the whole idea of being put into different teams added an extra layer of fun and excitement to the weekend. Such a memorable experience for the whole family. Go Squirrels! 🐿️

We’ve just completed our Second year and what a fun, safe and clean vibe! We absolutely love it! It really is a place to connect as a family. The activities on offer provide our kids opportunities they don’t always get- like beekeeping, climbing the tree, bungee ropes. Not only is it adventure by day, the vibe at night time is fantastic. There is something for everyone- with the kiddies in mind! Games, discos, dancing, comedians, chilled areas- there is something for everyone. The site is in the forest- making it a perfect place to enjoy- whatever the weather. It is super clean and the toilets aren’t your typical festival toilets, staff are super friendly and I highly rate camp Kindling for families. We are a family of 6, kids ranging from 0-12, and they all love it! We can’t wait to go back next year!

Solo parent of a 4.5 year old, well run, efficient and friendly yet within the parameters of relaxed and enjoyable.

Activities this year that were best received, nerf guns, waterside, African dancing, field games, grass sledging. Mask making and giant bubbles were also a big success!

2nd year attending and “we” packed better for food and clothes (and all the snacks!!) as well as less essentials (that weren’t really essentials. More of an idea of layout and weekend structure. Breakfast in the big tent, picnic lunch and then free for all after 3pm and evening meal helped keep my costs down. Food was reasonably priced.

As always staff were EXCEPTIONAL ! ! Friendly and on hand at all times, activities were encouraging and really suitable for everyone of all ages and ability (we only did the infant activities)

Team squirrel all the way this year and no doubt we’ll be returning next year
