First time I had bought from Cardiff Gold and it was a very pleasurable experience. The full gold sovereign coin was well priced as it kept pace with the spot price. An easy enough purchase and quick... Ver más

Fast and paid faster
I have used Cardiff Gold a few times now and found them to be really nice people and always go above and beyond to get you the right price. Dan and Natasha was fast and received payment within the hour after selling a load of silver.
Honest and trustworthy.

WARNING! Misdescribed and Unhelpful
I recently purchased an 'Invincible' 1oz silver foil from Cardiff Gold. The item was clearly advertised as having a mintage of only 500. However, the item delivered is from a mintage of 1,000. In the world of silver collectibles, the mintage figure is the primary driver of value and rarity.
When I raised this with their team, they acknowledged the 'administrative error' but refused to offer any price adjustment or compensation. Their justification was that the value is based on 'intrinsic metal content,' which is completely irrelevant for a numismatic item sold at a high premium over the spot price of silver.
Furthermore, they were initially dismissive of my right to an insured return for misdescribed goods, which is a breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. While a return label was eventually provided, the refusal to take accountability for misleading advertising is a red flag for any collector. They also acted as if they were doing me a favour by telling me to initially return it at my own expense. I had to explain how consumer rights law actually works before getting anywhere. As a result, I have been forced to report this matter to Trading Standards and the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).
Be very careful checking their mintage descriptions before you buy or preferably buy elsewhere, unless you are confident you have researched the item you are buying.

Respuesta de Cardiff Gold
Dear Thomas,
Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the typographical error in the product's text description. At Cardiff Gold, we strive for total accuracy, and as soon as you brought this to our attention, we corrected the listing.
It is worth noting that the correct mintage of 1,000 was clearly visible in the official product photography on the listing at the time of purchase. While this does not excuse the error in the written description, we believe it demonstrates that there was no intent to mislead.
As we have communicated privately, we are committed to our obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. To resolve this, we have provided you with a pre-paid return shipping label for a full 100% refund.
While we understand you would prefer to keep the item at a discounted price, we do not offer partial refunds as a matter of policy. Our offer of a full refund remains open should you wish to return the item using the label provided.
Kind regards, The Cardiff Gold Team
