I ask how they get away with it?

The question I have is how this people get away with this business model, under all the regulations we have in this country, they must be very intelligent, I use to have one personal account one business account,shut down the business account, with £300 something in it froze it and then few day later shut down personal account, which was only have £5 in it they sent me messages to give them my own bank account to refund my money, but they only refund the £5 nothing from my business account,

I still have booth account details
And bank card if Cashplus want contact me,
If you close your eye until you do Business with this bank they will help you open it,

If I could give this bank a Minus I would!

They are a bunch of Crooks who delight in causing misery and any progress for new startup businesses! Avoid this Bank at all costs! They closed my account on the 2nd of May and to this day they have sat on my money! Ombudsman has been informed and now a letter of without prejudoce has been sent giving them 2 working days notice from today's date 04/09/2024 to transfer my funds into the new business.

THIEVES

My funds were frozen with Cashplus back in December 2023 across multiple businesses and a personal account.

I provided information they requested very promptly and after no movement or communication, i requested that they close my accounts and return my funds in February 2024. After multiple complaints and consistent contact the bank refused to close my accounts and held my funds without reason.

It is now 6 months on. One month ago, Zempler, the new outfit emailed me to let me know they had decided to close my accounts. I have sent them new bank account details to transfer my funds, along with statements matching the external accounts for their processes and one month later these funds are yet to be released to me. They are holding my money against my will with no plans to keep my as a customer. They are no longer replying to my emails and I believe I have been robbed. almost 9 months without access to funds across four businesses and a personal account. This has crippled my business and I would not trust such a bank to look after your funds. I am being forced to close my business because I cannot pay my creditors due to this bank not wanting to send my funds. 9 Months! Please avoid at all costs, there are plenty of other E banks that you can find online very easily who will not withold your money.

The unnesccary security checks are a massive hindrance, each time a payment I have learnt for my business is over the amount of 2k they do a added security check which they use there full 24 hours, it sets me back a whole day and have to resolve it with clients if my own, causing more work, once money is cleared I will be closing the account, don't use cashplus/zemplar if you are a new business and rely on cashflow

Terrible bank

Terrible bank. I was receiving my salary here but they are so slow had to switch to Monzo. Also unlike Monzo and Revolut it takes their app 2-3 days to update payments in, transactions etc. Does not feel safe. A warning to Trust Pilot, if you remove this review my lawyer will be in touch like last time.

Apps refused access to account

Cashplus app refused access to account. Have had to install zempler one, no notice that this app change was required. Zempler app doesn't work either. Will have to go into the office and try to log in with key generator device. Not holding out much hope.

Avoid Avoid Avoid , Cash Plus now Zemplar bank is the worst organisation i have ever dealt with , i am trying to withdraw my savings and they have shut me down totally . there customer service is shocking and this has all the signs of a financial organisation imploding , It is my opinion that they are failing

Customer service is poor and it obvious they don’t want to refund my money.

A fraudulent transaction occurred in my account today and I’m still in shock. What makes this even worse is the fact that I can’t see the facts of this transaction on the banking app.

Every transaction I do on my bank account is approved using a secured process of verification and here I still don’t know how this particular transaction wasn’t approved before is left my account. They must think everyone is dump. Now looking at my banking app to see further details on it isn’t possible cos they blanked it out.

I have just reported the fraud and customer services haven’t raise a case , I don’t have a case number to even know if the matter is being investigated.

This bank is a disgrace. I must get my money back. Mr Cashplus and Zempler .

Someone was using my card spending my money in the Netherlands when i had the card on me in England they gave me my money back but now someone spent £63 and they are refusing to refund me. DO NOT USE THIS BANK

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking - my funds are frozen!!

I opened a business account about a month again and have started transacting, but have had my account blocked now for nearly two weeks. Cashplus says they suddenly need proof of my address and ID, and I have provided 3 times now, and the account is still blocked. I have a startup business and they have locked me out of accessing all of our funds and have been absolutely terrible and communicating or assisting me to understand what and what is going on. Their complaints process seems more responsive and resourced than their security department which says a lot! I will be escalating to the Ombudsman and taking legal action.

Cashplus - worse bank ever

Cashplus deserves MINUS five. Worse bank ever. My account had a repeat fraudulent transaction- while I was in hospital with a broken leg. Luckily my balance was zero- so no funds left- but Cashplus charged me £180 in declined/late payment fees- A JOKE! When I complained (which took two hours), I was assured my account would be frozen while they 'investigated'. I am again being charged £10pcm late payment fees. Avoid at all costs. Disgusting.

Don’t be pleased when cashplus accepts…

Don’t be pleased when cashplus accepts your application and allocates your business account without an ID and proof of home address or business.

Once, you start business and continue for a few weeks, cashplus will restrict your business account and ask to submit ID and proof of address. Even, cashplus doesn’t contact customers before they restrict you to login.

Additionally, the take longtime to remove the blockage! So, think carefully!

Worst bank ever

Worst bank ever. Please please please avoid. Full of scam, they block your account for no reason and use your money for their credits. Absolutely no reason to block account my account has been blocked for more than a month now. My business is in mess because of that. Customer service is useless no knowledge at all.

I am extremely disappointed with my…

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Cashplus. My business banking app was suddenly blocked without any apparent reason, and it directed me to call customer service.

When I called the hotline, I had a very poor experience. The representative mentioned that an email had been sent asking for my identity verification, but I never received that email. When I requested them to resend it, they informed me that their customer service system does not support outbound emails. This is a shockingly poor design for a financial institution in 2024.

Following their instructions, I sent the required information to their “mydocument” email. Despite this, I received no feedback for nearly 10 days until I called the hotline again. At that point, I was told that my request had been rejected.

As the company director, my information, including the email address used to open the account, is readily available and can be retrieved from Companies House. I do not understand why I needed to provide this information again.

Additionally, I was never informed of the decision via email. When I requested further information on what steps to take to unblock my account and asked for an official record of the follow-up via email, I was told once again that their system does not support outbound emails.

It is hard to believe this level of service in 2024. I am now seriously considering withdrawing all my money and switching to another bank.

DPA breaches

I have recently experienced a DPA breach with this company and raised a complaint regarding it but have yet to hear from them, like other reviews my account is blocked and when trying to get it resolved a number of DPA breaches occurred it’s disgusting DO NOT SIGN up for this company

Every single review is cash plus just blocking people’s account!

Have a business account, my money spends more time being held than it does actually able to be used! Had my account almost a year and I reckon 7 months of that, it’s spent blocked! Gets unblocked then it’s reblocked again!

This time because they wanted proof of someone sending me a payment in march! Really; you would think the proof was them seeing it in my account. But no they needed the proof from a customer which is a wild request 4 months later and I have no idea how they expect me to find one payment and person with no info? They will say it’s “in their terms and conditions” to get away with it and justify it but really, they hold your money for no reason at all, take forever to get it back, send generic responses to emails. I’m not sure one person in the whole bank actually cares about a customer. It’s actually mental I have never known anything like it. People said monzo were bad but truly cash plus holds the worst bank title. Avoid at all costs. Unless you want a 15 year ISA with no chance of getting your money back 😂😂
