First rate crew, we booked the full packing service as with two young kids, it wasn't practical to do it ourselves. Move was spread across two days, 80% was packed on the first day leaving just the bare essentials to live with over night before the completion and final move. Came well prepared with storage padded bags for delicate electricals and sofas, everything else was wrapped and packed in layers of 'chip shop' paper, and they packed everything the got their hands on. Only unfortunate casualty was a plant pot that fell apart as it was being moved, not their fault however. Larger furniture was disassembled as well as re-assembled as part of this service, all done with care.
Everything was completed on time and to our thorough satisfaction. Points to note, they will not carry flammable materials, this include paints, some aerosols and cans as well as LPG cannisters etc. Have a good plan of where you want things to go at the other end. Take these into account on the day. Besides that, can't fault the service and work ethic they are hard to keep up with! Thanks again!

The moving team were prompt, polite and always cheerful. They were quick and efficient with loading and unloading making the whole moving experience very much easier. I would highly recommend.

We had a well planned and hassle free move. The lads were extremely careful packing all our precious belongings and placing them in the new house. They even moved large items when we decided there was a better place fo the item. We had some very large pieces of furniture and they managed to get them in and up the stairs!
Even our new neighbours, which they liaised with, were impressed by their efficiency and care. A very succesful move.

A great bunch of people, efficient, professional and friendly

Ours was a complex move, with the majority of our things going into store for three months, the rest into a short term rental, and then all redelivered to our new home three months later. The team were excellent throughout. Great packing service (with no breakages!), courteous, professional and friendly team with generally no fuss - would highly recommend!

From the moment we engaged with Caversham Moves we were impressed with the level of service, friendliness and professionalism.
Jason sized the move, talked us through the process and as we moved to exchange we regularly asked for availability which was quickly provided.
Ours was a large move and we had the team come in and start packing 2 days before move day. Each box carefully packed and labelled.
On move day, the team arrived packed our beds and waited for news on completion. We got into our new property 2 hours later than planned, and Jason and team then worked flat out to get us set up, moved things into different places as we changed our minds, whilst always being careful not to damage walls and our items. As darkness fell another team came and set up the beds and got the move pulled over the line.

An excellent removal company and would use again and recommend to others easily. Thanks Caversham Moves!!

Before the Move:
Site visit for quotation was done quickly and smoothly, and done in friendly yet professional matter.
The quotation was provided exactly in the way requested where the content was clear.
Request for additional boxes was addressed quickly

On the Day of the Move:
Time arrived on time and all team members were very courteous and professional.
The team were very quick and quite accurate in box placement. Placements of the boxes in the house was done in a way so there was a path to move around.

Overall:
Very pleased with the service overall and glad we chose Caversham Moves.

Caversham moves were fantastic from start to finish.. they couldn’t have been more helpful, accommodating or efficient! Paul was a Tetris master getting everything into the van , although they planned ahead ‘just in case.’ They rebuilt all furniture so I would never have known they had been apart and disposed of my unwanted things. I honestly cannot speak highly enough of this company. Superb. Would recommend to friends and family.

From josh's initial visit to the conclusion of our move every aspect of the service we received was professional and straightforward.
Caversham moves was the most expensive quote of the 4 we received but in my opinion was worth every penny.
I would like to pay a particular complemenr to the removal crew of Jack, K, and Paul who carried out all the packing and hard core lifting and shifting. They did so with incredible care, skill and good humour despite some trying circumstances.
I would honestly reccomend Caversham Moves based on my experience of their work.

From beginning to end our experience with Caversham moves was excellent and everything was clear at all stages. From his first visit, Josh was professional, customers focused and engaging and made sure our quote reflected our needs for the long move to Cornwall. Geraldine in the office was patient and helpful on available dates while we were trying to arrange a completion/ moving date with the chain and helped us with our packaging arrangements. Our movers, Jack and Micky and Daniel who helped them on the first day were exceptional, executing our move with professionalism, efficiency and good humour at every stage of the move. Finally the billing arrangements communicated by email were clear, quick and easy with automated receipts.
We weren’t left hanging at any stage, even when staff were on holiday, which is so important when trying to organise a home move. Jason covered perfectly.
All in all, we are delighted we chose Caversham Moves and I don’t hesitate to give them a five star review. They took a lot of the stress out of the move and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone moving from the Reading / Arborfield area. Our sincere thanks to all involved.
