Ordered late evening, dispatched 8am next day, and with me 11am the next. 30 minutes to fit 3 downlights. Pushfit connections, pick the light colour on switch and test the dimmer. Seamless.

Ordered one day delivered next morning as promised. Well packaged with all contents complete. Could ask for nothing more.

Ordered some white ducting online for delivery. Delivery cost was reasonable however the item was poorly packaged - it was only wrapped along around 40% of the length, meaning the rest was scratched and dulled. The bits that were wrapped were covered in such a way that it was very difficulty and time consuming to get off, so the worst of both worlds packaging wise!

Despite this, price was good and probably would use CEF again. I just wish they had an option to get the item delivered to a cef store for free like Screwfix and Toolstation do. That would make the total price even more attractive.

First time I have used CEF, following a random online search for a hand combi-drill. After seeing what I was after, I checked out the company, terms and references / reviews. It was then time to back my findings, an upgraded drill body was ordered to replace my old faulty one, at a price which bettered the purchase and fitting of spare parts - what was not to like. Delivered quickly, well packaged and can only recommend them. Will use them in the future, thanks folks. :-)

Fantastic service, one light had failed and they immediately sent a replacement free of charge.

Delivery was late and the customer service rep i dealt with wasn't exactly helpful or friendly. Happy with the product and price. Maybe DX just aren't a reliable courier service.

Easy to use great service

I purchased a milwaukee polisher online which arrived 2 day lattrr which was good, it arrived on the Friday, and i tried it out the next day and it would work intermittently and could keep stopping, I called my local CEF and they said it nothing to do with them as they are all independent stores and not connected to anyother CEF shop which I thought was wrong and odd he said I will have to call the online store on Monday. After waiting till Monday and speaking to the online store they said I just need to go to my local branch, I expected what they said to me and confirmed they was wrong and they will call them on my behalf. I dropped my item off on Monday at my local store to the and I asked for a replacement which they said they cant do they will have to refund me but they didnt k ow how to do the paper work and it was near the end of day so they wouldn't do it now anyway so took my item and gave me his business card and said it will be incontact the following day however I have not heard any as of yet and its been 3 days. This is my first purchase for a CEF store and probably my last

Excellent price, delivery to store was delayed by DX but the Guildford store were really helpful and chased it up, calling me as soon as it arrived. Overall a good experience and I’d buy again.

Good ordering service but when I picked the order up I was told that it was at Redditch and not Solihull where I had booked , so I got on my car and the guy came out and said sorry we do have it? So I have very happy I didn’t drive to Redditch or else I would have been very angry . Out of the pack of 6 Les bulbs two of them do not work , so now o have to return and replace them. Other that that I have always been very happy ordering from CEF
