Thank you for looking after my father-in-law
As an ex funeral arranger, I went through all of the questions at home with the family. This was a pre paid plan which made it easier. We went into branch just to sign paperwork and choose OOS design. Mandy was great handling all the paperwork and let me know when my father in law was ready to visit in chapel. He looked lovely and well presented.
A big shout out to Chris Meikle for coming over from Leicester for the day to be our FD. As ever he was respectful and professional. A very special man who made the day run like clockwork.

We have used ward and Brewin a few times before and always found them to be very kind, helpful and really sympathetic to me and my family.

A personal experience.
Losing a loved one is one of the most painful experiences anyone can go through, and we would like to give a special thank you to Lynne at the Co-op Funeral Home in Gloucester for making such a difficult time as easy as possible.
From start to finish, Lynne was informative, caring and incredibly compassionate. Putting our trust in her meant that my Dad’s funeral was a beautiful and personal farewell that we know he would have been proud of.
She helped us create a plan that suited our wishes while ensuring Dad received the goodbye he deserved. We always felt that our wishes were at the forefront of everything, and the personal touches made remembering Dad feel truly special.
Lynne was our guardian angel during a time when we needed support the most. Her kindness, understanding and unwavering support throughout the whole experience were unmatched.
We will always be incredibly grateful to Lynne and the team for helping us give Dad the farewell he deserved. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I cannot recommend the co op enough
I cannot recommend the co op enough . Mom passed at 101yrs old she was our treasure. From sorting out the funeral and the actual funeral they were wonderful and so so kind . They recommended Jayne Luckman as the celebrant she was amazing. Thank you all x

I found the Co Operative Funeral…
I found the Co Operative Funeral Service based in Stanground to be excellent in every way , they were kind and helpful and advised me on what would happen on the day of the funeral for my husband. They were sympathetic and the service was really lovely and in fact I had many compliments about this,so Thank You Steve who carried out my wishes perfectly.

The Funeral Service and the lead up to it went as I had planned. All staff were attentive to detail, no matter how small. Even when some decisions were made at last minute they delivered with grace and professionalism. The celebrant was very supportive and delivered the Eulogy with compassion and sensitivity. Everything was perfect!!

Everything was dealt with in a…
Everything was dealt with in a sensitive manner and all my husbands wishes were granted. What was a very sad day was made less so with the help and support of all the staff.
Particular thanks to Tracey who comforted me on a couple of occasions when I broke down.
I would highly recommend this service to anyone.
