From the moment we walked into Whitehouse common Co op were treated with the greatest of respect Paula was so helpful guilding us through the funeral arrangements taking all the stress away She organising the transport arrangements from Bognor Regis of my late mother in law crematorium the music contact the vicar everything was taken care We had regular updates throughout the arrangement nothing was too much trouble Prior to the day Tracey called to go through the final details of funeral and explained her role in the process Tracey on the day of the funeral helped us navigate the family and friends through what was going to happen We felt in very capable and safe hand My mother in law Audrey who had passed was shown the utmost Dignity and respect All the family would like to thank her and the team very much We can't recommend highly enough the service they have provided

Kind and helpful
Planning a funeral is something I have not had to do before. However (castle Bromwich branch) Louise was so lovely and kind throughout. Helping me with the process and keeping me upto date with everything. Even answering all my questions and just so supportive at such a difficult time. Also Paul on the day of the funeral again so kind and considerate throughout. Nothing was to much for them and they just overall made me feel at ease, comfortable and less stressed in what was such a difficult time for myself and family. Thank you to you both I appreciate all your help so much and your kindness did not go unnoticed.

Everything was very professional
Everything was very professional. The staff were very respectful. The funeral went very smoothly. They took a lot of pressure off for all the services they offered, which made it easier.

Exceptional service
My family and I were so grateful to Lyndsey (St Mark's, Wolverhampton) for the support and kindness shown to us after my husband's death. She put us all at ease, and guided through the process of planning Tony's funeral. I highly recommend Co-op Funerals, in particular St Mark's branch in Wolverhampton, who looked after us so well.

Funeral care
Mandy and Lisa who helped us through our Dad's funeral were brilliant and were so kind and caring. The service they provided was top notch and helped me and my sister get through a difficult time.

Although the funeral was pre planned…
Although the funeral was pre planned the team at the Whittlesey office made the whole process simple for us at a time of our loss. They followed the plan and kept in contact with us up until the day of the funeral. They also called afterwards to make sure we were all okay and offered us councillors if we needed it.

Poor taste asking for a review of 'my purchase'
The support and organisation of my mother's funeral was good but I find it totally insensitive to be asked to rate 'my purchase' by giving my Mum's funeral a score out of 5! Not only that the funeral home has not bothered to respond to my email where I pointed out that I found this very upsetting. All the time you are asked whether you can opt out of emails about Mother's Day but apparently Central Co-op Funeral Care think it's OK to ask for a review of a deeply emotional time.

Arrange a cremation and scatter ashes
Co-op funeral Thurncourt rd arranged a cremation of an elderly relative, they also scattered the ashes for us too. The whole arrangement was handled professionally and with dignity.
We can't recommend the co-op funeral highly enough.

Mandy is a great advocate for the…
Mandy is a great advocate for the company. Also Sam who did the same for all 3 of my close relatives. She helped to arrange both my Aunty Jean's funerals in January 2020 and then also my Dear Dad's in April 2020 during covid situation which was horrific but circumstances made it so. We were allowed my Dad's cremated remains to attend my Mother's funeral in February 2026. Everyone was able to say a proper goodbye in that one service that covered both my Parents. Was a beautiful service and I'm thankful to J H Grice Coop branch for being Brilliant. Thank you kindly. I adore the staff but hopeful not to see them in a while for the obvious sad reasons as it involves loosing a relative.
