A waste of time and a service so bad that is borderland a fraud! We end up without the money and the codding certificate. The certification process will fail and good luck trying to find where. The service was so poor that we end up using Microsoft certification instead!!

I spent three full days trying to complete a Code Signing renewal with Certum, and the experience was nothing short of bureaucratic chaos.

What should have been a straightforward renewal turned into an endless loop of emails, contradictory instructions, and ever-changing documentation requirements. I was repeatedly asked to provide additional documents, clarifications, and invoices, only to be told afterward that what I had already submitted was still “not clear enough”.

At some point, it genuinely felt like I had to prove that I am not a criminal, despite being an existing customer, having paid in full, and having already passed identity and business verification.

The EV Code Signing process in particular seems completely disconnected from reality. Unless you have a legal department and an accounting office on standby, expect to lose days of productivity answering compliance questions that make little practical sense for a real, operating business.

This is not about security; it is about poor process design and lack of respect for the customer’s time.

I strongly recommend that developers and small businesses think twice before choosing Certum, especially for EV Code Signing. What you save in price, you will pay many times over in stress, lost time, and frustration.

This was one of the most draining B2B service experiences I have had in years.

Avoid at all costs. Wasted 2+ weeks waiting for an EV Code Signing certificate, then gave up and got one from Sectigo in less than an hour (same documents for validation to both).

Diese Firma ist angeblich polnisch: certum.pl, hat aber keine VAT-ID / UID . Auch das Versprechen, nach einer Zahlung die VAT-ID zu zeigen, war gelogen. Aber es wird Mehrwertsteuer verlangt! Ohne zu sagen, für welches Land! Die Zahlung (US$ 375) wurde von einer Bank aus Hongkong mit einer Rechnung beantwortet. Mehr nicht. Verdächtig ist, dass die Preise am web site inkonsistent sind.

Ich vermute, es handelt sich um eine chin. fake Firma. Wenn das so weitergeht, werde ich die polnische Finanz und die polnische Polizei mit der Sache befassen.

Da angeblich zu viel Zeit zwischen Beginn der Zertifizierung und der Weiterführung verstrichen ist, wurde die Bestellung gelöscht! Mal sehen, wie es weitergeht ...

I purchased a Document Signing Certificate from the Certum Store on Wednesday. After reading some negative reviews, I was initially concerned that I might have made the wrong choice. However, my worries were quickly put to rest - by Thursday afternoon, the verification process was complete and my certificate had been issued.

The only downside was the lack of clear documentation on Asseco's website regarding how to set up and use SimplySign. I had to rely on external sources via Google to find the necessary instructions.

Overall, a smooth and efficient experience.

I was looking for a qualified certificate issued by a trusted provider based in the European Union and decided on SimplySign – a cloud-based signature service. I was worried it would be a complicated process, but it wasn't that bad.

In addition to the qualified certificate for personal use, I also purchased a Code Signing certificate for my company – also in the cloud. The activation instructions were clear and easy to understand, and both certificates worked without any issues.

So far, everything is working as expected. The solution meets all our needs. I appreciate the transparent process and fast delivery – I highly recommend this service to others looking for digital certificates based in the EU.

It a fraud. The verification process fails. No one answering phone calls and emails. Certificate issuance stacked on verification. So at the end money withdrawn and no certificate received!

DO NOT RECOMMEND this e-sign service to anyone. They are mailing me back an forth for second month and I am still not able to renew my e-sign certificate due to an error on their side. I doubt I can get my money back. Service is not user friendly at all, I have experienced multiple errors with it and unprofessional technical support.

I've been stuck in a frustrating loop for over 10 days, waiting for my certificate. Despite clearly explaining that I cannot activate the certificate due to the "Common Name" being empty – an issue I cannot rectify on my end – and providing screenshots of the error, the support team seems utterly confused. Their responses are repetitive, canned, and unhelpful. It's as if they're not even trying to understand the problem.

All my documents were submitted and approved, yet the team is incapable of providing the necessary support to resolve this issue.

My last resort is initiating a chargeback for the payment if the certificate isn't issued by the end of the current week.

Dealing with this company has been an absolute nightmare. My advice? Do not waste your time here.
