I have always been pleased with the hotels in Thailand.

Chanalai floral resort in kata is located well between the beach and town.

They asked me to confirm my time of arrival, two days later my email returned, they had sent a NO REPLY email!

Unfortunately, for two nights i've had no sleep with constant banging on the infrastructure. Towels and shower rob missing, no shower gell, blocked shower basin flooding in bathroom and bedroom, leaving a stagnant water odour.

Sadly, every time i come back to the room something is missing. You think you have it sorted then something else happens.

Everything is reported and the staff are lovely, they just need management oversight in procedures and customer service training.

We stayed 16 nights at the hotel. The staff is very friendly, and the really try to make you as welcome as posible. The hotel is nice, and cosy and the breakfast is very good. The rooms are very pretty, though there is very limited closet space for clothes.

The only thing that was negativ about the hotel, are the amount of russian tourist. We were told that there would be no tourist from Russia, but about 70% of the tourist was from Russia. The did not treat the staff very well. They were loud, and broad there own alkohol to the pool and the pool bar. And you could never get a smile out of them. The hotel is called romantica, and there concept is for couples to have a romantic stay there, without kids. So it’s such a shame, that the check in these massive groups of russian men.

The staff though is fantastic.

Virkelig dejligt rent og pænt hotel. Venligt personale, som har lidt svært med at forstå engelsk. Rigtig god restaurant og morgenmad. Ligger centralt i forhold til indkøb, barer og restauranter. 4 minutters gang til stranden.
Af forbedringer kan jeg kun nævne: Pool baren var alt for ofte ikke bemandet i åbningstiden, og spa/boble i swimmingpoolen larmer for meget i lejlighederne med pool access.
Totalt set en pragtfuld oplevelse.
