I didn't find this site very useful and stopped using it months into my yearly subscription. But what made me give it a one star is this...

I received no reminder that my subscription would renew when I meant to cancel. Some of that's on me. But the inability to reach customer support on the same day they charged me, so I could cancel, and get my money back, was aggravating. You're stuck with an AI bot that will claim they're connecting you to someone. It's not. You have to leave the browser tab open for hours. Look away, and the entire thread vanishes. You start over. It happens again. I have to call my credit card company to dispute the charge because it's the only way to undo this.

You provide no support, and I’ve been charged multiple times for services I can’t even use. You have no way to remove an artist I haven’t worked with in over a year. I will really have no recourse but to charge back if no one can fix this.

Chartmetric sadly confuses ambition with ability. It's a truely great concept, but you can't imagine my disappointment when I logged into use the service for a singer-songerwriter artist, and they had the wrong songwriters on every song within their catalogue. The descriptions of the tracks also made no sense. I've been emailing them trying them to get the information corrected but it's taking forever. I don't know how you can trust their metrics as a result.

Useful for keeping an eye on music trends, but the interface could be more user-friendly. It takes a while to figure things out.

Chartmetric is THE GOLD STANDARD to see analytics on how you are doing as an artist. If it wasn't for Chartmetric, I never would have known that I charted on iTunes in Norway with their Dance and All Genre Charts in late January! I can see what playlists I am on and how I rank with streaming and social platforms. Chartmetric is a GAME CHANGER.

As an independent musician, I use Chartmetric daily. It's important for me to see my progress and what helped or hindered my development. It's also very helpful to know what artists are in the same "bracket" as I am to try and develop some collaborations. The playlist tools are also a must. I've had a little change to make on my profile two times during the last year and both times it was done in less than 24 hours. The help from tech support has also been top notch. There are little glitches sometimes but not enough to outweigh the rest so Chartmetric is 5 stars for me.

I believe it’s one of the best tools on the market for not only pulling analytics, but being a VISUAL presentation so artist can see where they may stand.
