Scammers, stay clear of this company
I booked a flight through this company after seeing a great deal online. I received a booking reference and assumed everything was confirmed, expecting my e-ticket via email. However, the next day I received a call from a representative who informed me I had booked through a third-party site and that my ticket was a “promotional standby” fare with no luggage or meals included. They claimed it would only be confirmed if another passenger cancelled, and then tried to upsell me a more expensive ticket with extras.
When I declined and asked to cancel, they said I would lose nearly £200. They then offered another ticket for £1,000, later reduced to £778. When I mentioned seeing a £650 ticket elsewhere, they said I could pay an additional £205 to secure a confirmed ticket with luggage and meals. I nearly agreed, but decided to research the company and found many similar complaints on Trustpilot. I realised this was likely a scam.
I politely emailed to request a refund and contacted my bank to reverse the charge. Despite ignoring my email, they called again—but I made it clear I wasn’t interested and had contacted my bank. Surprisingly, later that day I received another call stating a refund was being processed, and the money was returned to my account that evening.
Avoid this company. They use misleading low prices to lure customers, then try to upsell using pressure tactics. I’ve learned to always check Trustpilot reviews before booking with any unfamiliar company.
