I went to Chequers Cars Chobham after seeing an advert for a Fiat 500X on MOTORS. My whole experience has been brilliant - excellent customer service. Our sales person, Chris, was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. The car I purchased is of high standard and a good price. Thank you Chris and team for all your help, I am very pleased with my new car!

This is the third car I have bought from Chequers and I am sure it will not be the last. James was friendly and helpful, dealing with everything seamlessly.

This is the second time I have used Chequers Cars and totally satisfied this time around as I was previously. The entire experience was great. From the online advertisement coverage, my initial call to enquire about the car, the no-pressured cordial sales service, test drive, preparation of the car and streamlined admin process. All a credit to Jamie, Gavin and the whole team.

Fantastic Customer Service that we got from James and we are so pleased with our New Car we brought from them our son in law recommended them to us and we will recommend them to others.

This is a great company to deal with. I travelled from Plymouth to Woking by train and was collected by a lovely chap and taken to the garage to view and test drive my Fiat 500. There was no pressure at all to buy, I was able to test drive the car by myself and have a good look round without anyone giving me the hard sell! The car was immaculately presented and valeted well. All documents correct and the whole process was very efficient and friendly. I wish they were nearer, I would always use them. Thank you to the whole team, you are all great. The complimentary gift was very welcome and a lovely thought. I had a great drive back to Plymouth with the roof down and music on and the car went like a dream! Thank you again. Not often these days you get good old fashioned, respectful customer service but I definitely felt like a valued customer. Looking forward to having fun in my new Fiat! ❤️

I would most certainly recommend this company if buying a used car.

Terrible experience. Do your research before financing a car here. Extremely high rates and unfair contract to get signed into. Other local dealers offer finance contracts with low rates and able to lower monthly costs by paying off extra amounts. Fell into a trap with Chequers and cost me £4000 to buy out of a contract with a 2014 Nissan Juke after only having it for a year.
Condition of the car was poor… Inside and paint work was not too bad, but underneath where buyers won’t be looking was in bad condition/rusty and cost me over £1000 to have parts replaced and refitted just so I could trade it in for another finance somewhere better.
DO NOT use these scumbags!!
I went to multiple dealerships in Woking and Guildford who all said the same thing; that I was completely mugged off by Chequers and their “trusted” brokers etc.
I ended up going to FG Barnes for a 2022 Kia Stonic, paying almost the same as I was for the Juke but with lots of added protection/care plans and 3 years warranty all added and with the option to lower monthly rates by one-off payments. Also with a much, much lower APR.
Wish I had steered clear of these morons a long time ago and saved myself a LOT of money and stress and pursuing further action.
They need to rethink their finance brokers and other processes and do some business research themselves with local dealerships to see who they use, what they offer and not screw people over.
You can shrug your shoulders and play dumb all you want, but eventually it’ll come back around on you.
Whoever is looking here to finance cars, PLEASE look elsewhere and find yourself a nicer, newer, trusted vehicle with other dealerships in the area. I
I’m sure they will reply to this with more misinforming rubbish or some poor excuse to save face or a way to brush me aside like they’ve done multiple times already.
But as I have everything in front of me and now have a decent vehicle, finance plan and a long list of other local dealerships who shook their heads in disgust at Chequers to prove everything, I hope you all trust this review and look elsewhere. I only went there because I was naive and new to car financing and found a Nissan Juke I liked after searching.

Bought my Fiat 500 last year from James at Chequers Cars and have been delighted with it, great service and took out the extra gold club warranty and have just booked it is for a service and MOT.
The whole experience was stress free and really happy I chose this Company and would no hesitation in recommending them.

On the day of my car being sold Chris from Chequers called to introduce himself and talk through the details. He was most helpful and very friendly which put my mind at ease instantly.
The following week Simon from Chequers came to collect the car, again a very pleasant and friendly person whom I agreed to pickup from the train station.
We drove back to my house so that he could inspect the car, there was a couple of bits of wear and tear that I’d missed but there was no tyre kicking so to speak and all in all a great experience!
Would definitely deal with Chequers again for either buying or selling a car.

The friendly vibe at Chequers Cars is key to buying a car. James went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the car. He kept in touch to update me on anything I needed to know. I would thoroughly recommend Chequers Cars.

I have been using this leadership ( family oriented) for a few years now, I can honestly say that it’s like a extension of your family, that’s how you feel when you buy from them.
Now days is so difficult to find that you can trust and they deliver all that plus you feel you can always pop in with any problem they will try always to help.
So yes until now I recommend 100 per cent Chequers Cars.

I bought a Fiat 500 from Chequers Cars last year. We liked it so much that my wife bought another one this year. The major fault on the speedometer of the first car developed after purchase and it was rectified under guarantee without question.
