My experience with Chiku Cabs for a family trip from Surat to Trimbakeshwar and Grishneshwar in a Tempo Traveller was extremely disappointing and stressful.

At the time of booking, everything seemed very promising. The executive was responsive, polite, and quick to reply. This gave me confidence that I was dealing with a professional travel service. However, the entire experience changed completely once I paid the advance amount.

At the time of confirmation, I was sent a quotation along with photographs, a video of the vehicle, and driver details. But when it was actually time for pickup, the Tempo Traveller did not arrive on time. Even after 30 minutes had passed, they suddenly changed both the driver and the vehicle. The vehicle finally arrived more than an hour late, and it was not the same one that had been shown during booking. The driver was also different from the one whose details had been shared.

What made the situation worse was that the Chiku Cabs operator kept lying continuously during that delay, repeatedly saying that the vehicle would arrive in “5 minutes,” when in reality it was still far away. This was highly unprofessional and very frustrating, especially when traveling with family.

When the vehicle finally arrived, it was in very poor condition. It was old, worn out, and clearly not maintained properly. This was nowhere close to what had been promised to us at the time of booking.

The problems did not stop there. During the trip, I discovered that the Gujarat-to-Maharashtra state tax charges were actually Rs. 2,700, but I was charged Rs. 4,000. On top of that, the vehicle did not even have the proper permit to enter Maharashtra, and I had to bear the cost of arranging that as well.

Even more shocking, at one point I had to pay money to deal with a police issue because the driver was not properly dressed in uniform. I also found out that the driver’s license was for trucks, not for a passenger vehicle like a Tempo Traveller. Sending a truck driver to drive a passenger vehicle for a family trip is a serious safety concern and completely unacceptable.

There were multiple occasions during the journey where the vehicle papers were incomplete, and because of that, I had to make payments during the ride. This caused unnecessary stress and embarrassment throughout what was supposed to be a peaceful family trip.

While returning, the trouble continued. At multiple toll plazas, their FASTag did not have sufficient balance, which forced us to wait for 5 to 10 minutes at nearly two toll booths. This again reflects poor planning and careless service.

Overall, this was a very bad experience and it negatively affected our entire family trip. Chiku Cabs appeared professional only until they received the booking amount. After that, it felt like the booking was simply handed over to an irresponsible vendor who did not care about customer experience, comfort, safety, or honesty, and only cared about money.

I would not recommend Chiku Cabs to anyone for family travel. Based on my experience, they make promises during booking but fail badly when it comes to actual service delivery.

Worst travel service experience ever. They promised a luxury traveller, charged advance, and then sent a cheap, poor-quality bus instead. This is completely misleading and dishonest. On top of that, their team was rude, unresponsive, and refused to handle the complaint properly. We stopped using their traveller for the rest of the trip because the vehicle quality was unacceptable, but they still refused to refund the amount. Taking advance money, failing to provide the promised service, and then behaving badly with customers is unacceptable. Please be careful before booking with them.

I had booked two Sedan Premium cars for a trip starting at 9.00 am on 07 03 2026 and stopping at Mandarmani, Bhubaneshwar and Puri and return to Kolkata on 10 03 2026. The company promptly asked for payment of advance which was paid on 06 03 2026. However, no car has been provided till now ie 10.35 am on 07 03 2026. Finally, Mr Satya Prakash of Chiku Cabs told that cars cant be provided because the rates are not good. A surprise because I had agreed to pay as per the quoted rates. The vendors who were assigned the duty tried to extract more than the contract money, which means the contract given by Chiku Cabs is meaningless and the Taxi Platform is not performing any useful function. As you have failed to provide the cars despite delay, you are requested to refund the advance amount of Rs.6,000/- (Six Thousand) immediately. Please send an acknowledgment.

I have been using their services for quite some time now.
They are very professional, their team is very responsive and always available if any help is needed.

Satyaprakash made sure, the vehicle arrived on time ( as per schedule) , driver was courteous and professional, and he kept his promise on the pricing part as discussed ( while booking). A little more of seamless coordination would earn them a "5 out of 5 " ratings. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Lastly Satyaprakash was prompt and proactive in his communications and sharing updates.
