I got this program to work with my 4 and 5 year olds over the summer. They are now ahead in their classes and we still use it :)

As a parent, I found it straight forward and easy to use. In the beginning you need to make the effort to read through and print out the material. It's so worth it.

BTW I'm ADHD and so are my kids. They can literally do this learning while standing if they want. Short and sweet lessons make it very manageable. They don't get bored. The recommended games to supplement the program are also super fun :)

I brought this program in 2017 for my (then) 2 year old daughter. It is FANTASTIC- she learned to read before the age of 3, and then I used the steps in the program with my son, who also learned to read with it. My youngest daughter is next- let’s hope I get the same results!

The technique is great, as a teacher I apply parts of it to my teaching of KG1 children and my class also scores the highest in reading.

I bought this in program in 2019 when my first child asked me at age 3 to learn to read. I will preface that he has ADHD and a gifted IQ, so he learns significantly faster than average, but in a distracted/fidgety way. The short lessons were perfect for him. We've had tremendous success using this program. He was reading series like Magic Tree House independently before entering kindergarten. He's now 6 (first grade) and reading at a late 5th grade level and reads for 3 hours every day for fun.

I'm so thankful I taught him to read before Kinder - the entire year was focused on sight words! I still pull out advanced phonics from time to time as a review.

I'm now using it again for my 4yo. He's half way through the first book. He's more of an analytical math kid type, so he does better sticking with it, if I set a timer. I know he will be reading independently in no time!

My third turns two soon and I will start with him in the next year!

You do have to be consistent and make it fun. Learning to read can be dry, but this program is worth every penny. I printed with HardCopy HQ. I love having the physical copy available.

I began this program when my daughter was 3 years old. Just a few minutes each day has now turned her into an avid and fluent reader at 6. She is homeschooled so there were no other lessons given besides this program. She reads chapter books on her own. The Magic Treehouse series is her first. She is on book 15 of 28. I am so grateful I found Children Learning Reading. Investing a little bit of time goes a long way. My husband and I are still impressed and in awe how she is able to read at her age. I cannot praise this program enough!! It’s very simple and effective even for someone like me who is very busy and lacked confidence to teach my eldest child. English is not my first language either. But with this program my daughter started to read simple words even before she turned three! Now I look forward to using this technique with my second child! If anyone is homeschooling independently, this is also an excellent choice and all you will be needing to teach any child how to read!! I also want to mention how awesome Jim is, he is always quick to respond with any questions I need help with. I cannot recommend this program enough!! God bless and more power!

I bought this program in 2021 and it helped my child. Now I have a toddler entering pre K and I was able to re access my program thanks to Jim's quick reply. The product is good and so is customer service.

I started this program when my son was 2 and 10 months old, his progress impressed me a lot throughout the period and now by around 6-7 months later, we are now at lesson 9 of the advanced program! Apart from the great manual, stories, printouts, Jim's willingness to assist is highly appreciated! love it!

this is an excellent program! Basic, well structured, easy to use and very effective! I spend at most 5-10 minutes most days on this with my kids, as a full time working mom. I started with my daughter when she was around 4-5, she's now six and also completed the advanced phonics before starting first grade. Now, I'm focusing more on my 4.5 yr old son and doing occ review with my daughter to reinforce concepts. I think it's very accessible for busy working parents.

I have purchased Children Learning Program in 2016 and considering this program again now for my youngest child. It has completely transformed my eldest child's reading journey. Purchased the course end of May this year. We’re a busy family so we never really get the chance to do this on a daily basis. Also, my daughter was diagnosed with speech delay so have other sessions to go through pretty much every day too and this is just an added bonus. She learned phonetic sounds before she turned 2 but we stopped because we felt like she was not yet ready. Almost every bedtime was so stressful for both of us, it was exhausting. She really loves book and when she started asking us and pointing words on the book even making her own version or could sit down with me for an hour. We know it was time so we started in June this year. We’re on Lesson 24 now and we tried at least an average of twice a week and it always surprises me how quickly she picks it up even the new lesson. We also tried for her to read other materials with big and small letters. It was a test if she can read them and she definitely nailed it, we’re absolutely amazed! She’s now 4, we also reviewed by reading all sentences from lesson 13-24 just last night which i recorded for her dad to see and he was surprised to see her read that much. I’ve been seeing the ad on Facebook for almost a year. I was skeptical not just with the program but also with myself, to have that extra time and resource to go through with my daughter. I’m really glad I did. I know this will give her confidence when she goes to primary school next year. I definitely recommend this 100%.

I cannot thank "Children Learning Reading" enough for creating this amazing program. I invested not just in the Basic Program but also in the Advanced Program as well as the Math program. I highly recommend the company as their services are great and you get immediate access to the programs and great printouts, flashcards, videos, and voice pronunciations that support the program for easy comprehension and understanding. My granddaughter loves the program and she excelled in a short space of time to mastering from easy to more difficult words, reading books and long sentences without getting frustrated as the program helped her to easily blend the words and sentences together and she never gets frustrated anymore. I highly recommend this program as it only takes a few minutes per day and a bit of revision and it allowed my granddaughter to easily and effortlessly excel in English reading. The same goes for the Maths program. It is a very small investment as you get true value for money and the owners make it easy to reach out if needed. Take action and help your child master English the easy way.

I highly reccomend this to anyone looking to help their kids with their reading . I have an autistic/dyslexic son that has learnt more about reading in the past 6 weeks than he has in 5 years at school. Before purchasing this reading programme my son seriously struggled with his reading and could barely read any words. Mostly due to not remembering the words as he forgets things very easily. It didnt matter how many times we went over the words he was struggling with he just couldnt remember them. Now he has the confidence to try and take on reading himself as even he can see the difference in his reading and it really is having a big impact on his confidence and self belief. Its still a slow process with him and takes work from both sides but definitely worth it :)

Being a doctor (and parent) and specialist in brain functioning and neurodevelopment, this is the correct and empirically (scientifically) based method to teach reading. This is a phenomenal program that is easy for parents to implement. It teaches the fundamentals in an effective, simple, and concise manner and sets a strong foundation of fundamentals for future academic success.

This program has been life changing for my daughter and I highly recommend it. She is in her first year of school and her teacher mentioned that she had fallen behind in reading and spelling. I used to work in the neuropsychology department of a children’s hospital testing kids’ intelligence and cognitive ability. We know that if kids fall behind it’s important to take action quickly, otherwise that gap gets larger and larger over time. If you’re thinking about buying this program, do it! I expected videos to engage and teach the child but they are only of Jim teaching his children so not engaging for little ones. The phonics file could be easily downloaded from the internet for free. The rest of the package is a huge essay on the importance of reading (nothing new there) and how to teach. It’s super long and not at all we’ll set up for parents who are time poor. This program is probably good for parents who have all day to learn how to teach their kids but I feel like I could have gotten an education degree in less time.

My experience is amazing, I have been in education profession since 22 years and I could not find such a productive phonics package online. It made me comfortable to teach my kids

I’m 1000% glad I found this program! I started searching for something because my 2nd grader was on a beginner kindergarten reading level. After 2 months, I told my husband it felt like I taught him more in those 2 months than what he learned in 2 years. He has caught up sooo much thanks to this program!!

Also, because I was doing this program with him I decided to do it with my kindergartener as well. Now she‘a reading at one of the highest levels in her class. I’m so grateful we found Children Learning Reading!
