We have been seeing Dr. Brough for our 3 year olds peanut allergy for about two years. She is always very thorough and professional and makes us feel at ease with the oral immunotherapy and up-dosing. We feel adequately supported through this process and has seen amazing result with desensitisation with our son.

We have been seeing by Professor Brough and her team for our son’s food allergies which we are discovering progressively as he begins weaning. The whole team has been fantastic. The administrative staff are responsive, flexible with appointments and always mindful of ensuring parents do not feel overwhelmed.
The nurses are exceptionally kind, thoughtful and patient during skin-prick testing, taking their time with both babies and parents. Professor Brough is an outstanding doctor: highly knowledgeable, measured, cautious and pragmatic. Everything is carefully considered, well controlled and properly documented. She has an excellent bedside manner, has been incredibly kind to our son and genuinely understands how difficult and emotional this process can be for parents. We feel very fortunate to have our son under her care.

We have been seeing Professor Brough since 2019 for my son's food allergies. We have always been treated with the utmost kindness, care and respect by Professor Brough and her team and would highly recommend Children's Allergy Doctors.

My son was diagnosed with a milk and egg allergy as a 9-month-old. Under Professor Brough's careful guidance, we gradually introduced egg back into his diet and he now has no problems with it.

The milk allergy has been a bit more challenging. We initially tried oral immunotherapy with milk, but this did not work out. However, we were able to take a step back and introduce baked milk, using soda bread or biscuits. This has been successful and my son has recently been able to start having some cheese on a daily basis. We are so pleased to have got to this point and I would strongly recommend persevering with the immunotherapy treatments. The peace of mind it has given us is invaluable.

Throughout the process, Professor Brough has responded quickly to any concerns. She is very thorough, caring and knowledgeable and we are so grateful for the confidence she has given us in handling our son's allergies.

Amazing experience from the whole team with super quick response on all communications

We went to see Professor Brough for our 1year old son after having throughly exhausted every avenue with the NHS for treating his eczema, which we believed to be allergy related. We were amazed with how quickly we received the appointment, and with the excellent level of care and follow up. After two appointments, our son is almost completely eczema free! We discovered the allergies and we now have a simple plan to follow if he ever flares up again. We are beyond relieved and so grateful to the team! Thank you so much!

Professor Brough was excellent. She provided very detailed and clear plans on how to manage my son's eczema and introduction of allergens. Her responses to questions were very clear and precise. I have had a great experience with Helen Borough. She has helped my daughter to help find the root cause of the problems she is facing. Also, Helen is very easy to talk to and listens to what you have to say and takes into consideration your worries that you may have.
