Truly woeful. Avoid.

Decided to try this blatant rip off of Tesco Whoosh and placed an order for some groceries. They promise all over the app that your delivery will arrive in 60 minutes or less but we waited for over 90 minutes and the contacted the customer (dis)service number for support. We were told they haven't been able to find a driver through their "third party courier" (read Uber or similar). They had no way of contacting the store or the courier to give us any indication of when we might expect delivery. Decided to cancel and use Tesco instead as we could have been waiting hours, we were then told it would take up to 5 working days to process the refund, which is probably still faster than our order would have arrived. Awful, awful service. Avoid.

Waited well over an hour for an order…

Waited well over an hour for an order to arrive that wasn’t mine. When I rejected it the uber driver was so rude and blamed me. I rang customer service and woman on the phone was so rude. Just kept telling me to wait longer. I told her to process a refund and she never did. Absolutely shocking service!!!!

Disgraceful service

Disgraceful service! Order was cancelled as the driver started he couldn't find my house. Requested full refund which they said would take no longer than 5 days, it's now been over a week and still no sign of the refund.
The number you ring puts you through to a call centre not in the UK & they don't really care and just read off a scripted sheet repeating the same thing over and over "5 Days" " 5 Days". Well it's been 8 and nothing. They don't answer emails that are sent so the enquiry form is pointless! I'll never use Sainsbury's again having been a loyal customer for decades. DO NOT USE CHOP CHOP!

I have just been scammed while trying to use ChopChop!

The Uber driver called me and said he needed my date of birth in order to deliver my ChopChop order. Shortly after, I received a message saying my order was “delivered,” but nothing arrived.

I called Sainsbury’s, and they confirmed it was a scam. They assured me I would be refunded the full amount.

⚠️ Please be careful — this is a scam. Do not place orders late in the day, and Sainsbury’s should consider adding a secure code system to protect deliveries and our personal details.

The scam call was recorded and came from this number: 07701 407034 at 20:11 today (Monday the 8th).

This experience was very scary, and I feel unsafe.

Slängde merparten av min mat som var en smärre katastrof. Svintorr kyckling..Riset var stenhårt. Tjejen slängde även hon maten!

Bubbelvattnet var varmt . Under all kritik.

Riset alldeles för överskott

Riset alldeles för överkokt, jag beställde en tofu thai basilika och sedan en pakchoi tofu tror ja den heter. Den ena rätten var endast mörk soja i och tofun smakade inte fråcht thaibasilikan smakade knappt nånting tyvärr så dennagången blev jag jätte besviken. Det är också tråkigt att dom tagit bort grönsaker ifrån vissa rätter och pakchoi är den ända och lök imprincip. Jag åt vid krämaren min systers mat var inte god idag heller tyvärr

The chop chop service should be ..

The chop chop service should be ... Chopped! I won't be using it again. I ordered 8 large bottles of water amongst other things and an uber eats rider turned up at the store on a bicycle and turned the delivery down. The 2nd rider, same scenario. Then they found a 3rd rider also on a bicycle who was only willing to take half the order and then a 4th rider also on a bicycle brought the rest of the delivery. So because of this it took longer than the advertised 60min. On top if this as everything was sealed inside Brown paper bags I only discovered a substitution after the rider had left, that I wasn't happy with but had no choice but to keep. I dont think the uber rider would have even taken the substituted item from me.
Heavy /large items can't be Collected by bicycle! And there should be no substituted items that you have no choice but to keep.
Chop Chop.... definitely a No from me

I just can't believe it.

I phoned customer service yesterday regarding a chop chop order I made.the delivery drivers were having constant issues in finding my address.so I phoned customer service telling them can you please give chop chop my correct address.he led me to believe that he could do that.he didn't then he lied and said that the driver has taken it back to the shop and that he will refund back £15 when my whole order came to £25 .this customer service advisor deliberately wanted me to stay on the phone so I would miss my delivery that is why he lied and said my order has been taken back to the shop when all along the drive was coming with my order.how truly disgusting is that.he deliberately tried to sabotage my order so I wouldnt receive it.i find that deeply disturbing. I have absolutely no idea why he lied like that.all I do know I can't ever trust them again!

Ordered through Sainsbury's - Dire

Ordered through Sainsbury's. Got a first time free delivery code, then received my order missing three items. Called up and told all they can do is refund me in 5 days, not bring me the items.

Made a second account, got free delivery again to get my items, won't use again.

Shocking service

Placed first order today. Due 1.17. Checked tracking to see being picked but not out by time due for delivery. Rang helpline who B out me through to the store who couldn’t help said I had to ring chop chop again. Rang again but was told they’d cancelled my order. No notification nothing. Will Never use. The order can be cancelled within a second but I now have to wait 72 hours for my refund. Shocking service.

Hej.
Det måste vara den sänsta upplevelsen jag vart med om inom mat/"restaurang". Jag fick vänta i över 1 timme på att jag skulle få maten jag beställt, hur är detta möjligt?! Jag sitter i bilen med en jättehungrig dotter som undrar när maten kommer, efter jag för 3e gången går fram och frågar efter maten så kan de hosta fram den. Är det verkligen rimligt att det ska ta sån tid? Något måste göras eftersom det var otroligt många fler än jag som gick fram till drive in-luckan och undrade vart deras mat var. Som kompensation fick jag några extra chicken karaage. Otroligt urusel kompensation måste jag säga! En beställning på en single rätt, kan inte ta sån lång tid. Vill gärna få ett rimligt svar på detta

Steer clear of Chop-chop

I usually love Sainsbury- mostly shop there - however! Chop - Chop = An absolute rip off!!!
The cost of items - for anything Via Chop-Chop is vastly increased over its usual price - I’ve been matching this for a while now - as examples :- today’s rip off “offers” Sainsbury's Slow Cooked British Pork Ribs Smokey BBQ Sauce 646g (Serves 2) Chop price £8.75 normal delivery £4.33
Diet Coke No Caffeine 2L :- Chop price £3.30 normal shop £1.50.. and these are supposedly “on offer both charge £5 for delivery - that is pretty poor!!!

Visit to madeley chop shop has allowed me to understand why the name was chosen.
When asked how wanted my hair l instructed.
No 1 on top and trim the remainder with scissors.
The female then proceeded to complete the work with clippers .
I complained to her and asked her to follow my instructions.
She responded with
I have been a barber for 10 years l know what l am doing.
She went on to tell me if l wanted scissors used l should go to a hair dresser not a barber.
I thought a barber was a hair dresser
First and last visit.
I recommend this place should be given a VERY WIDE BERTH.

Detta hände i Chop chop Strängnäs.
Fick vänta 15 minuter efter min beställning vid drive in fickan. Ringde sedan in till den och frågade ifall de glömt bort mig. De skyllde på att något var slut. Fick min mat efter 20 minuter och åkte hem. Hungrig som bara den. Ny maträtt, Pepper beef lät gott. Vid första tuggan märker jag att köttet är super segt. Tar en bit till. Samma sak. Vad har hänt med de möra köttet som de hade förut. Rätten innehåller inge morot fast det skulle vara det. Smakar inget peppar alls som utlovat utan bara soja och ostronsås. Nu efter maten undrar jag vad som hade hänt. Jag har typ halva biffar kvar i tandköttet efter att det varit så segt och senigt. Hade jag vetat att deras kundtjänst fungerar hade jag åkt tillbaka till dem. Blir inte chop chop Strängnäs på ett tag och definitivt inte deras biff. Funderar på att bli vegetarian efter detta.

OBS!! LURAS

OBS!!! Handla inte på självbetjänings kassan! Betalade och blev debiterad utan att få ett kvitto, behövde betala en gång till.

Att behöva tjata till mig 142kr tillbaka på en näst intill obemannad mejl är inget nån ska behöva lägga nästa tre dagar på.
